"Thank you. While your here, could I ask a favor? I've been trying to get this collar off but the belt is behind my neck. Do you mind helping me get it off?" he asked kindly to the she-cat. "I would tell you my name, if I wasn't planning on changing it for the sake of the clans. For now I guess you can call me Sun"

Rosepaw pushed Cilantropaw away. She let out a friendly nod. She grabbed his collar in her jaws snd bit down as hard as she could. After a while it finally snapped. "my names Rosepaw." she replied.

"Nice to meet you" he meowed then looked up at the sky." That gathering thing is supposed to happen today isn't it?" he asked curiously. Honestly he was just to try to cover up the fact that he was praying to Starclan that hey would accept him into clan life.

Rosepaw shrugged. "I don't know. If it is i wasn't told." she meowed. After a while she realized how much ge knew about the clans. "Are you a spy? If you are you've are you might want to leave." added Rosepaw

"What? No. Back before I was taken by Twolegs, there was this caged place filled with cats. They told stories about the clans, how twolegs never find them, where cats could live their own lives. At first I thought it was to good to be true, until I fount the place." Sunshine explained

Rosepaw felt herself begin to calm down. "Okay. I was just making sure. I fon't want to get in trouble for talking to you." she meowed.

"I get it" he said with an amused purr, the bits of skylight coming through the trees and hitting his fur, almost making it gleam. "So where is the leader right now?"

A smile found its way to his face as the large tom responded, and Flintspirit couldn’t help but be reminded of Passionstar. There was no doubt the two toms looked alike, both with thick ginger pelts and brilliant green eyes. “I’ve been doing pretty good. Not too busy thankfully. Though I have a feeling it might have to do with me.” His purr gave away his joking tone, and his eyes sparkled as he gave a little wink to the ginger tomcat.
He himself wasn’t sure how he was doing with his new position. He knew he was handling all of the duties perfectly, assigning patrols and watching over the clan with Passionstar had proved no stress to the dark-furred tom. He figured his training of Minkpaw was going smoothly, and she seemed to be improving every single day. But he felt as if he was failing to actually appeal to his clan in the manner he wanted to. He didn’t want them to see him as a distant, cold cat that they couldn’t talk to. Flintpsirit knew he could be intimidating, his large stature and thick fur didn’t exactly scream “friendly”. So he appreciated Rowanflame’s compliment. He wasn’t sure if he should be completely honest when replying though. “Well thank you! I really appreciate that you think so, I had some doubts that cats thought I was... cold? If that’s how you would phrase it. Other than that, I’ve been faring quite well.”

Rowanflame listened patiently, his amber eyes alight with both amiableness and curiosity; he truly was a gentle giant, one could even compare him to a kit in a warrior's body by the playful way he acted. He was endearingly sweet, that was obvious. He purred as Flintspririt spoke of the importance of stress-free times, where a cat can ponder the goings on of their life. It was important for a feline's mental health, he had heard Caliaflame once tell to a few of the more "robotic" warriors of Thunderclan. The bulky larger toms of the clan, who upheld the warrior code to a standard above and beyond what was necessary. Rowanflame was merely too "soft" to be a warrior like them, the sunset tom simply incapable of being so cold and mechanical. It didn't suit him much, anyway. The fluffy tom gave out a hearty laugh at Flintspirit's joke, the deputy's manner and tone calming Rowanflame's awkward nature and making him feel much more comfortable. He liked Flintspirit.
The flame-coloured tom listened much more intently as Flintspirit began to express his worry at appearing "cold" to his clanmates; Rowanflame knew exactly how the deputy felt, and offered an amiable purr as comfort. "Ah, I know exactly what you mean. Cats just assumed you're cold or unfriendly based entirely on appearance, which is completely daft by all means! A lot of cats thought of me that way, too; many still do, in fact. But, you're a deputy, people pay more attention to the way you act than they do with me. I'm sure word will spread fast about how lovely and amiable you are, I'll even make sure I put in a few nice words myself!" He exclaimed, his eyes alight with a passionated kindness that resonated deep within his soul as it would appear. The large Somali had always been gifted with a strong sense of empathy for others; it was who he was. He'd believed his personality had strongly been influenced by the strong love and patience his own parents had shown him - he lived to see the day he'd one day be able to pass this knowledge down onto his own kits.
