Hearing the loud yowl of Bumblestar, Nightgaze immediately started limping over as fast as she could. She knew she should probably be taking it easy since her leg was broken but she wanted to hear what Bumblestar had to say, plus her injury would probably heal son right?

Carefully she lowered herself down in a sort of standing-sitting position feeling kinda awkward as she moved her bright gaze to her leader, curiosity was unhidden on her face she was very intrested in about anything that was worth it was this one of those things? She'd see in time if she was patient.

Suddenly a thought hit her, oh of course! This was about the deputy! She was sure! Ever since Alder- umm Foxstep was demoted the clan was in need of a deputy! "I wonder who it will be...probably not me! But I can hope!" she thought cheerily as she causally flicked her tail as she eagerly awaited for the meeting to begin.

Yay, finally a meeting she was physically able to attend this time and not passed out like she had been at the last meeting. Not wanting to stray far from the den, she sat outside with a bland look. She was still tired and drowsy a bit but she wanted to see out this meeting. It had been a slap to the face when she had found out that Alder-Foxstep had been demoted and renamed. Leafpaw wasn't sure what to feel about that, yeah she was mad at him for that patrol but she didn't know if it called for demotion and a different name. Hopefully, this meeting wouldn't be too long so she could go back to sleep.

As her call reached their ears, the cat stood up. Joining the rest of the clan at the Stormcrest, Roaringcoast made sure to perk their ears to heard the leader better. This was surely going to be quite the doozy if it was anything like last time. How embarrassing, that Crackle-thing was. It didn’t matter now, good riddance to that annoyance.

Wetwhisker, Grasskit, Oatkit and Owlclaw all appeared slowly from there dens as there leader called for them.

Exhausted. Tired. Fumbled. The medicine cat apprentice slowly exited her way out from the narrowed entrance of the medicine den, heavy bags decorated the bottom half of her face as she dragged herself over towards the Stormcrest where Bumblestar’s words echoed in her strained ears. This… felt awkward to be coming out from the medicine den given her current state. Would cats start questioning if she was alright? Would cats quickly start going over and trying to pick at her for her absence at the last meeting? It wasn’t like she could’ve necessarily helped it; she had been injured to the point where she couldn’t do anything for the time being and was being confined to bed rest until her wounds were healed to an extent. It was awful, and it wasn’t like Springpaw had any necessarily high hopes for what was bound to happen. Bumblestar looked angry, but hopefully there wasn’t going to be any ragtag drama that was going to ensue in this meeting. And… well, if that was going to be the case, then so be it, she supposed.
