Silverstar padded into the forest and sighed as the cool lush undergrowth enveloped her.The sun shone and the head of the early summer day warmed her fur.The forest was filled with the rich scent of prey and living things.Silverstar weaved past the trees to her favorite place in all of the wild woods...star hollow.It was a small grassy clearing that dipped into the ground.Almost all year long the bottom was covered with springy green grass,and lavender lots and lots of lavender,in the rainy season the hollow filled with water and made a clear reflecting pool of stars.Silverstar had spent a lot of days with Bluefrost in the star hollow,it was named that,because every night when the hollow grew black,it framed the stars that peeped out over the hollow where there were no trees to blot them out.The lavender swayed gently in the wind as if they were greeting Silverstar,whispers filled the hollow,and the bees buzzed lazily.Silverstar sighed contently and sunk into the lavender letting its sweet scent fill the air around her,finally everything was right again.Her sister was home the rouge Nightfang who had haunted her all her life was finally dead,and the clan was in it's rightful home.

Bluefrost flicked her tail,and padded out of the den,Cherrypaw,and wildspirit were waiting,"I cant wait to start up my training again"Cherrypaw said excitedly,Wildspirit nodded absently and glanced back to where her kits were frolicking in front of the nursery.Bluefrost rested her tail on the she-cats shoulder,"they will be fine'she murmured,and adressed the hole patrol,"Alright letts head out"she said dissapearing through the fern tunnel.
