Basilpaw focused hard on keeping her body oriented in the way he tilted her. She could do this. Basilpaw thought carefully about keeping her paws on both sides moving at the same time. She paddled over to the other side of the pond, walking out, her coat soaked. "Whew!" Basilpaw panted, "That was tiring!" @Bramblefire01

"It'll feel more natural the more we do it." Said Rushingwind. "But now, I want you to rest for today. But be warned, I will not always let you rest after a swim, sometimes, it'll only be our warm up." He finished. "Now, lets head back to camp"...

Basilpaw nodded, shaking out her long fur, sending water droplets flying off. She ran after Rushingwind, tail streaming out behind her. She was so proud of herself! @Bramblefire01

Stripepaw felt a little relieved to be in slightly shallower water. “Ok,” she said to Splashleap. The loss of panic allowed her to focus on trying to swim right, and after a bit, she was padding strongly. She swam a little deeper into the water. She was pretty scared to do it, but she didn’t sink! “Look! I’m swimming!” she said proudly.

Finally! Stripepaw had gotten the hang of it! In relief, Splashleap let out a long purr. Good job! Want to try swimming across the pond? It might tire Stripepaw out a bit anyway. Figuring her apprentice might be nervous, she added hastily I'll do it too! Just in case something happens. Hopefully nothing would. Because she REALLY didn't want to teach Stripepaw not to be afraid of the water. That would be even harder than the swimming, which SHE thought was plenty hard enough. @Ikoria the Wolf Pup

Stripepaw looked across the pond. She was a little afraid to swim the entire thing, but she wasn’t going to be a scaredy-mouse! So she nodded with a determined look on her face, and started swimming forward. Her form wasn’t too good, but it kept her afloat and that’s what mattered!

Following her apprentice, smoothly cutting through the water, Splashleap let out a purr at Stripepaw's seeming lack of panic. Good job keeping calm! she huffed, as a small wave from her own paddling paws almost swept into her mouth. Stretching her neck up a bit higher, she added Your form could use a bit of work, but it'll come with time. For now, at least you can swim! And really, that was more than any other clan could do. So she thought they were doing pretty well. Almost halfway across the pond, she peered down towards the bottom, disappointed not to see anymore dirtfish. That had tasted SO good. @Ikoria the Wolf Pup

Cherryflight was pretty excited to start fishing and watched him like a hawk, he made it look so easy! Cherryflight felt a little cocky after he caught his fish, she slowly wadded forward looking for a silver shine in the water...her tail swaying idly will she watched the water.

The russet molly caught sight of a silver shine in the water as an averaged sized fish Swam close, her tail stopped and she narrowed her eyes before lashing her paw into the water and snagging the fish out onto shore.

She quickly made it to shore and leaned down to bite the fishes neck buuuuuut instead she got a nice slimy tail slap to the face, she flinched and blinked a bit surprised. Before she quickly tried again and bit it’s neck, ”ow.” she put a paw to her face and shook her head, she felt kinda embarrassed.

“Thanks!” Stripepaw mewed, and a little bit of water got in her mouth. She immediately spat it out and padded a little harder. This isn’t so bad! she thought to herself.
