Flarerunner laughed. "Oh, shut your mouth," she huffed, her eyes glittering with amusement. She didn't move away when Thornpelt's tail brushed her back as she had when they were running from the fire, more used to him than she had been before. "So, what now?" she glanced around the clearing, muzzle wrinkling in disgust when she realized everything was normal. How can they act like everything's the same after what Singenight did?

Thornpelt laughed as well, then paused at her question, glancing around the camp, "I'm not sure..." He murmured, his amber eyes filled with confusion.

Flarerunner sighed, shuffling closer to Thornpelt and sitting down. "I guess we do what they're doing, and act like everything's still the same," she spat bitterly. She turned around, beginning to groom her fur as she used to do all the time in the evening. She smoothed back bits of fur that had been ruffled from her run on the moor, making her spotted fur look sleek and well kept.

Thornpelt nodded and groomed down his chest and shoulder fur. He glanced at the others, shaking his head but when back to grooming the fur on his front legs that was sticking out all over the place. No matter what he tried his fur kept sticking up, "Now you know why I'm called Thornpelt." He purred jokingly.

She teased, as he had been the complete opposite of rude. He barely knows me, yet he still helped me during the fire and helped to distract me from everything going on.
