Fernkit peeped out of the nursery, wondering if she could meet Berrykit, now Berrypaw, once more. "What are you doing?" Maplekit sighed. He always seemed so annoyed. "I just wanna see Berrykit - Er... Berrypaw again!" she protested, a hint of sorrow in her voice. Fernkit loved to play with Berrypaw when they were all kits, but Berrypaw eventually had to move out to become an apprentice. Then, Fernkit spotted the familiar white and cream spotted cat in the clearing... "Berryki - or, Berrypaw!" Fernkit squeaked with excitement, happy to see her old den mate. She dashed towards the apprentice, happiness burning inside of her heart. When she finally approached the cat, she gasped, "It's... so nice... to see you again..!" She managed to let out a purr, though she was panting like crazy. Maplekit, an the other hand, was sitting at the entrance the whole time, narrowing his eyes at the two cats.

He looks at the she cat blinking at her “was she trying to flirt with him” he thought. He asked the she cat “so tell me about yourself.”

Mistripple smiled. "I love trout, I'm great at fishing and swimming, and I like handsome toms." The words came out before she could stop them. "Oops. . ." @Quailsong

“Well what toms would you like mouse brained toms”he said playfully booping her nose with his tail this she cat was funny she was young and so free to say what she wanted to.

Annoyed, Berrypaw whipped around and stomped her foot in the dirt. So many cats kept interrupting her these days. "WHAT?! Why does every cat in the whole damn clan have to keep buggin--" She paused mid sentence as she realized who she was talking to. "Oh...it's you." The molly hadn't expected to see her old friends from the nursery, and frankly she hadn't been planning on ever visiting them. The nursery was for babies, and Berrypaw wanted to be as far away from that title as possible. Kits couldn't do a whole lot, so the apprentice didn't exactly miss that life. "Where's Maplekit? What've you guys been up to?" She asked Fernkit.
