Bloomingblaze nodded as Mistpaw seemed to decide. "Alright, y'r gonna wanna turn around and kick y'r back legs at y'r enemy as hard as possible." She explained "But, keep y'r eyes on 'em too. Even not lookin' for a second can be a big openin' for y'r opponent. Watch."
Pretending there was an enemy in a random spot, Bloomingblaze, turned around, though kept her head turned and eyes locked on the imaginary enemy, and kicked the air with her back legs.
She then turned back to Mistpaw "Ya' also gotta be quick about it. N' put strength into it. Some mess ups can lead to, well, bein' dead." She said casually "Try n' kick me in th' chest. I can take it."

◖──────☛ mistpaw nodded, watched his mentor and then turned around, he kept his eyes locked on the warrior, knowing his back legs were a bit weak so he made sure to have his front claws dig into the ground, he wasn't sure what that might do, he lifted his legs and kicked, he wobbled after and fell over and he hissed, turning onto his back and he realized where he did that wrong too, he'd be torn to shreds if he did that in a battle and he cursed himself. "sorry-..I messed up, my legs aren't that strong..." he huffed and sat up, sitting awkwardly as he realized he did kick his mentor but right after he himself had fallen over...he needed to train more... ☚──────◗

Her paws carry her after Hollowpaw before Quietpaw has time to protest. Begrudgingly still. She casts a brief glance back at her torn up nest before returning the few slivers of attention she had left to Hollowpaw. She'd made her choice, she'd got up and she couldn't sit back down. That would be weakness, something any sensible cat despised. A sigh escapes parted jaws, yet she follows, skeptical as ever.
'Rotting in the darkness' Is that how it seemed? ..how...intresting. Quietpaw allowed a small puff of air to emerge in response. Tufted ears titled to show she was listening even though her sharp gaze drifted from time to time. Truly, she felt a tiny wisp of gratitude that Hollowpaw was being somewhat honest; she admitted that they didn't know all the answers, which was a rare occurence for her. Did all cats hold such clarity or was it just this one? Probably the latter...
Quietpaw spares a dull glance at Hollowpaw as they mention the disappearance of her siblings. She wants to feel sympathy but..she can't. Many of her littermates had either vanished or a select few had been killed....it didn't impact her since she didn't know them, not really. Her kithood was one of isolation and silence and her apprenticeship had been full of anger and hate. In a way they resembled each other. No love was left for her family, those connected by blood anyways. Hollowpaw seemed to think it death was more heartbreaking than it actually was for her.
The paw would admit, Hollowpaw's insight was subtly admired by her. Then again maybe it was just the experience of talking to a decent cat that had her so in awe. The fostering respect Quietpaw had for the black and white apprentice was halted as she continued. You know what...stereotypical wisdom was more fitting. Was her rage so mistakable for grief? That actually explained a lot...
Quietpaw's face darkened into a scowl as her companion's voice was again faded. She was done with her emotions being misinterpret and Lostspark being put on a pedestal. She was nowhere near the adoring, crucial part of the clan everyone seemed to envision her as. "No." Her voice rang out loud and clear as she abruptly came to a stop, gaze falling to the ground.
"Lostspark doesn't deserve to be preserved in my mind after what she's done" Sharp talons curled into the dirt beaneath her as Quietpaw spat words laced with venom. "I hold no love for her anymore, just as she never really did for me. I have no fond memories of her,I hardly have any memories of her at all, only the shouting and the lying...stars the lying..." Her voice cracked as she reminisced the broken promises. It almost prompted fresh angry tears to spill from her hate filled eyes.
Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, she turned back to Hollowpaw, cyan orbs burning with previously restricted fire and ears pinned back against her skull. "You seem to believe I am overwhelmed with grief. I am none of the sorts; what you see is my rage. Lostspark betrayed me and never made an effort to be a mother and as such I will not treat her like a mother. I whole heartedly hope that the clan forgets about her. She was nothing anyways...." Nothing at all...worthless.
"You know what...I hope she begs for someone, anyone to keep her in their mind because I sure won't....I'd rather be alone than betrayed again." That...was a lot, yet honestly Quietpaw felt like a weight had been lifted after carrying such a burden of emotions for so long and not releasing it. Though Hollowpaw would surely be taken aback. She suspected it wasn't the reaction she was looking for...well she wasn't one to please, she'd spoken truthfully and if she didn't like the truth then they asked for it so they couldn't complain.
(Sorry this is so late! Needed to figure out how to write Quietpaw angst lol :'])

Muddykit sniffed around the clearing, nose in the dirt, digging up the loose earth below. But she didn't seem to care! Her smell was getting good, she could pull smells out of the tangle of scents in the camp! She didn't know why, but she sure was happy about it! She was gonna be such a good apprentice!
The large and fluffy cat couldn't stop thinking about her approaching ceremony, and how she was gonna be trained! It was gonna be soo great! She was gonna learn so much and the absolute best apprentice she could be!

Foxkit was just doing his thing. And what was that, precisely? Well, not much of anything. He'd gotten into his share of mischief here and there, sure, but it was nothing compared to the penchant for it that some of his siblings had. In general, he had been laying pretty low since his birth. Maybe, he wanted to be a little more than that. Dig his tiny claws into this earth, so to speak.
He noticed some movement in camp out of the corner of his eye. An opportunity, perhaps, to "get himself out there", so to speak. There was another kit, doing something mysterious. Digging her claws into the dirt, maybe looking for something? He wanted to know, so he came up to her.
"Hey," he said simply. "What are you doing?" He wanted to know, and he wanted to be heard.
