Day 23 of the White Season, year 4030 It's been a while since the last bomb dropped. It's also been a while since clean water was still a thing. After the war with the rest of the world, Arcovon was left to fend for itself. Aquana to the South and Tyrevan to the North put up their walls, quarantining this place to itself. The only other country we're welcome in is Ursini to the West, which might as well be as dead as here. Wherever "here" is anymore. Those up on the Aga station abandoned us, sitting comfortably with their bombs, laughing as they watch the survivors struggle. There are few settlements left, more survivors turning to travelling to survive than cornering themselves in one place. I gotta say that I agree with them. I sort of wish I didn't. Surviving out here is hard, we'd probably have better luck in the cities. The only clean water and food are in the cities, some run rampant while other's are basically communist communities. It's better out here, in a way. The smaller settlements are better than anywhere else. El's sick, and we're out of repair pills. I gotta move before this becomes my last entry.

That's all the entry says. Your leader looks grimly up from the tattered book as they shut it, obviously discouraged by the lost lead. Still, they turn around and shoves it in their backpack before slinging it over their shoulder. The sun was coming up over the hills, the Outlanders would be out soon, and you had no cover. Sighing, you gather your things. It looks like another week of foot blisters and dry throats for you. You open your holo-screen and monitor your statistics. Dehydrated, starving, exhausted. What else was new? In the distance, you can hear the Outlanders' screeches.
Will you make it? Will you follow your leader, or cause a mutiny? All is fair in love and war, and this is total war. What's your next move?

ranks leaders - the leaders of the group. responsible for keeping things together and making decisions.
deputies - the right-hands of the leaders, usually trusted and responsible. will take their leaders' place if one goes missing or dies, and will substitute for emergencies. also responsible for keeping order and organising the engineers, fighters, hunters, and caregivers. deputies serve their corresponding leaders, one deputy for each leader.
healer - the medical expert of the group, whether their knowledge is vast or very little. they can take on an apprentice if they like. they usually stay with the rest of the group and must take an escort if they wish to go anywhere.
engineers - who could survive without weapons? engineers are in charge of all firearms and technology, including bodily augmentation. they're often the escorts for the healer.
fighters and hunters - their names say it all. they protect and provide for the group, often being the ones to scout about and go on supply runs.
caregivers and youngsters - sometimes, young children are found by the group, and the caregivers are assigned to take care of them. youngsters range from being infants to being 15 years of age and only take responsibility once they're 16 years of age or above and are bodily capable.

having a bright attitude is what makes kian a welcome member of the team. he can read others like a book, and always has a smile on his face. he can act like a huge goofball, but he is extremely smart in his way with technology. he's on almost everyone's good side, and makes sure that everyone is in a good mood. at least, he tries to. he cares a lot about this group, as it was more of a family than his family ever was to him.

kian has tanned skin with a plethora of banana spot freckles across his skin in every place imaginable. his hair is a sun-bleached gingery-auburn colour that tangles around his shoulders when it's not in a ponytail or a bun. he often has a wide grin with a gap between his teeth, and his eyes have the odd condition of sectoral heterochromia, the right one being a light brown while the other has a pie-like section cut out of the corner of it that takes on a pasty blue hue. he has an augmented arm that reaches up to his left forearm that mostly serves as an easy-access holo-screen, but can also help him hack into certain things, and scan things for parts or what might be broken/damaged in a certain object. he carries a thick leather backpack, mostly carrying what little supplies he can find, and a few heirlooms from his hometown.

kian was abandoned as a kid no older than 13. he grew up in a city, but eventually left from the harsh environment. he was found, inches from death, in an abandoned shack, and nursed back to health. he joined the group enthusiastically, giddy to show others his vast knowledge of technologies. he serves loyally and is often the one that has to brighten up a grim atmosphere.
