Hello hello lovely WCO community! I am here with a special finder, and that is for Redhawk's future love interest! She's currently a warrior in ThunderClan on a path towards gaining more confidence, and while she isn't actively seeking love I think it would be cute for it to come when it's least expected

Her page is above, but below are a few basics about her:
-29 moons
-Younger sister of Gentledoe
-Sort of timid, but growing out of it!
-Completely dedicated and loyal to ThunderClan
-She romanticizes love and tends to fall hard and fast

Some preferences for her future mate:
-Somewhere around the 25 - 40 moon age range
-ACTIVE please I would prefer they don't go missing
-Only open to ThunderClan; she's a loyal one
-Red is pansexual with a preference for toms!
-Would like for them to establish a friendship first

It is winter again.
Another year again and though the concerns of the clan have changed in this year, the snow falling outside the warriors den has not.
Nor - in a way, has the cats inside. Because once again Mudhound is squishing a cat into their bedding, snoring softly, and once again Redhawk is taking advantage of the living spaceheater.

It was a strange twist of fate that had brought the two together, a myriad of issues that had to be overcome, but it resulted in a shared joy neither had really expected. After all, it wasnt like they were unhappy in the friendships and more familial relationships they had prior to their mutual entanglement and it wasnt like a lack of something in their lives drew them together. It.... Well it just kind of happened.



See on Mudhound side the tripod was completely unaware romance was a thing they could want. Sure other cats had it and it seemed nice, but to a demisexual cat who wasnt even aware of it.... Well when the feelings actually hit it was a confusing disaster. Friendship, close friendship, and a sort of platonic love were taken with aplomb and a content joy of one well used to these relationships but once feelings deepened the maine coon mix freaked out. WHAT WAS THIS!!?! WHY WERE THEY BLUSHING?!?! THEY WERE COMFORTABLE WITH REDHAWK WHY WAS A SIMPLE TAIL BRUSH ENOUGH TO SEND THEM SPIRALING NOW?!?!?!!

Yes this disaster happened without warning as platonic love turned into a crush and the resulting mess Mudhound created (which surprised no-one coming from the tripod) dwarfed all of their sisters shenanigans with Violetfreckle.....
Frankly in the end it was a miracle the camp and clan survived the pre relationship stage.

As for Redhawk? Well it wasnt smooth on that end either. A more timid personality when faced with an overbearing one? It was.... A lot, for all they shared similar characteristics and things they liked to do.
The road to close friendship alone had its bumps.

Then when Redhawk fell first? Well good luck trying to get anywhere with her apparently chosen love.
Confession was right out of any possibilities. Not because of fear of rejection (though.... maybe for a time) as a witnessed circumstance of Mudhound kindly turning down a cat and remaining friends after cleared that fear, but because Mudhound is as thick as a rock.
'I love you.' - "Awww I love you too youre my very best friend!"
'Want to go out on a walk to see the fireflies, just us?' - "OOOOH! That sounds so cool! You come up with the best hang outs!"
'I'd love to share nests with you.' - "AW HELL YES, I LOVE ALL CUDDLES!"

At some point the issue becomes less, what if they say no?, and more, how do I get this idiot to understand I like them!
So yeah, courting is less than smooth and its a miracle the two made it to curl up together against the cold as a year away, the snow falls same as always.

Of course, thats just one way it could go.



TLDR: I offer up Mudhound!

Some other ideas:

• Mudhound's 'suitor' Early in on Redhawks crush Mudhound gets a cat who likes them! Mudhound is clueless but Redhawk is not and is pissed! Hisss! Interloper! Its a bit funny and petty but does Redhawk try and chase off the cat subtly without Mudhound noticing or just sit and stew? Who knows but the situation resolves with Mudhound rejecting them and subconsciously favoring Redhawk, smoothing ruffled feathers.
• After Mudhound develops deeper feelings the situation reverses with Redhawk receiving attention and our favorite tripod loosing their mind. It'll be hilarious I promise.
• I love the idea of this being a sort of, fell first vs fell harder thing as Mudhound is already overwhelming when they platonicly love someone. When its romantic its gonna be a lot...
• Sooooo Mudhound at some point is gonna wanna litter of kittens. This is probably far off in the future but its gonna be something they realize they want given its not like theyre dysphoric and are happy to carry them. But with too AFAB cats? Well thats something interesting that might cause temporary turmoil in a relationship for spice~

• semi-verbal. he speaks in mostly short sentences and only when he thinks it necessary. when he does have something longer to say, it takes him a moment to find the right words.
• former loner. breakingsky was taught to fight by a huge she-cat who only took on other she-cats as students. he, for reasons unknown to him, was the only exception to her rule.
