Mallowcloud stomped out of the clearing looking like an angry bull. She’d only meant to shout a little not start a whole fight between everyone oh and that Birdchatter. Putting his face up on Flintspirits cheek made her blood broil. He did it on purpose too! Didn’t care much for the insult direct at her (she had a thicker skin than that) but he pulled that stunt just to make her mad. Small stubby tail flicking back and fourth in angst she punted a few rocks out of her way.

“Stupid mouse brain. She’s the one who needs a scolding... who died and made her leader? Well.. nobody actually. Oh starclan what am I talking about” She couldn’t quite collect her thoughts entirely, instead she babbled on to herself about just anything that popped into her head. “And that Bird brain... who.. who waits around for drama like that? Doesn’t he have a life to get to? Something outside of clan antics.” She snorted again like an angry bull. She didn’t have patience for those kinds of cats. Doubted she ever would

Sycamorerain remained alert, trying to listen as closely as possible for the sounds of the squirrels beginning to flee. He couldn't see what was happening, but he heard the rustling as Mossheart sprang out of the undergrowth, soon accompanied by the terrified squeals of the squirrels. Leaping out from the bracken, he pounced on the first squirrel in sight, killing it with a precise bite to the neck. There were quite a few, but at least there were two of them hunting. Slamming his large paw down on another, he bit it and killed it like the last. While they weren't the plumpest of prey, they weren't exactly scrawny either, and could provide a good meal for couple of cats. He managed to snatch one more, hoping that Mossheart had gotten all the ones who had escaped his clutches. Looking up, he smiled. "That's a pretty good lineup we caught there," he mewed, gathering all the prey in one spot and quickly scraping some soil over it for safe-keeping. Turning his gaze back to the other warrior, he mewed, "Shall we try for some birds this time around?"

It was surprising to see the young molly so comfortable with the land, relaxed even. Most apprentices were jumping about and excited. The sight made Pinepuff wonder if something had happened when Nightpaw was a kit. Yet she didn't dwell on that long as the bi colored apprentice answered her. The large fluffy tabby glanced down as she explained her scab that she picked at and how no one seemed to care. Must have been a meeting I missed... Pinepuff thought a bit saddened by what Nightpaw must think. She paused in her steps slightly, taking the time to bend down and lick the top of her apprentices head. Much like a mother would her kit. "Some cats are to busy with themselves to notice dear, but there will always be some cat that cares and wants you around." She promised, green eyes studying the bi colored apprentice for a moment. Poor thing... After a moment she started walking normally again, just in time for her apprentices first question. "Many of times." Pinepuff admitted glancing over at her apprentice again. "Its hard not to feel that way when you can't seem to help or just make others have to help you. However, its not a truthful thought to have darling. I know first paw that is hard to believe but we all have a reason to be here and in some why we help ThunderClan grow." The brown fluffy ball of a cat explained. The question really revealed more about Nightpaw then it did herself but maybe that was a good thing. Her apprentice seemed to need some extra tinder loving care.

Nightpaw looked up at her mentor with wide eyes as she listened to her response to the question. "I had opened up the old wound and hadn't been sleeping well and was kinda losing a lot of blood and when it was pointed out that I was lying on the ground barely conscious it hurt hearing some cats saying that kits die and it just happens. Lionwhisker seemed so upset that my treatment was just like anyone else's and like it was... just a burden and waste of time.." She took a deep breath "I will serve my clan however I can, I'll gladly help the elder's without being asked, I'll bring back every piece of prey I can possibly carry and more! I just need to show I'm not a waste of space like I feel.." She raised her head up, her ears perked "Can I trust you Pinepuff?" she asked, quickly covering her mentor's mouth with her tail before pouncing into a bush, emerging with a mouse in her jaws

Seedcrush grunted and glared. He didn't like happy cats. "Maybe, are you tired yet or can you survive the walk?"

“Of course”she said “I’m not tired yet.” She turned around thinking what ruffled his fur.

Mossheart watched the squirrels run towards the bush where Sycamorerain was hiding, and for a moment, she thought that he would miss them. She sighed in relief as he jumped out, catching 3 squirrels. She saw one hesitating, not know where to go. She leaped onto the large rodent. She heard it squeal beneath her and she gave it a quick nip on the spine, killing it. She saw another squirrel trying to escape and running up the trees. She raced after it and jumped up the tree. She grabbed the squirrel in her jaws and jumped back down the tree. She bit down on the spine, killing it.

Mossheart picked up both of her squirrels and walked over to her clanmate, dropping her squirrels next to his. She looked at their pile, satisfied with their catch. "We should hunt here more often. There is prey everywhere!" She heard Sycamorerain ask if they should hunt for birds now. She nodded and shook her pelt. She liked to hunt, so she didn't mind hunting more.

Jingo waits under a holly bush for the perfect time to strike any cat that came by. "This is what i'm here for. To kill and annoy the Clan cats." @Goldwhisker maybe?

Seeing the molly nod, Sycamorerain blinked a couple times before nodding back. "Okay then. This might be a little bit trickier than the squirrels, since the birds can fly away. So, we might have to change the tactic up a little. Instead of scaring them off all at once and trying to catch as many as possible, we should probably pick them off one at a time. If we try too many at once, most of them are probably going to escape." Gazing at the tree, he tried to locate where the best possible options were. There were a few birds on the higher branches of the tree, but it would be pointless going for those. They wouldn't be able to jump high enough to catch them, and even if they utilized the tree for climbing, there was the risk of falling while reaching up to nab the prey. There were, however, a few lone birds sitting among the lower branches, minding their own business, completely oblivious to the fact that they might become some cat's food. Flicking his tail towards them, he gestured to make sure Mossheart knew which birds they were going for. "We should try to stay quiet so we don't alert the other birds. One of us can sneak up under the branch and get the bird to fly away, while the other can jump up and grab it out of the air. Sound good?"
