"Well, not to be blunt, but each warrior is different, right? Maybe some accept it and handle it better than others," came their reply, blue eyes still confused on the topic. Just because one parent who wasn't their parent was revealed meant their whole life was a lie? That seemed pretty dramatic to Snowypawy, and the young apprentice cleared their throat. "I think we just sort of disagree on this topic," they added with a sympathetic smile. They didn't really want to continue down this path if it was just going to turn into an argument...
Glancing around camp once more, the apprentice gave a shrug of their shoulders. "Who knows? I don't know what I'll be like as a warrior; maybe I'll be different."

Cricketfire did his best not to flinch. His poor kit, he failed Twigpaw. "I, uh, just wanted to see how you were doing?" Wow, he sounded... stupid and awkward, like a angsty kit. "I haven't been able to get to know you very well, and I um, wanted to? I mean, if you want to, I understand I've been a crappy dad..." It was the bitter truth, but he didn't know how Twigpaw would take it. Hopefully he would notice the blatant sincerity?

"Maybe so." he said with a grin. "Ok, bye. I hope you forgive me."

with leopardfire arriving, cedarbuzz noted that everyone that was supposed to be in the patrol, was here. now all they had to do was go to riverclan border and refresh any markers. "we should get going," the tom commented with a flick of his tail, padding out of camp. he was positive the others would follow along.

Leopardfire followed and nods in agreement she was lost in thought

Re: WindClan Clearing
Watching him leave, Snowypaw couldn't help but feel baffled by the entire situation. The apology had been nice, but the discussion after it was... interesting. Regardless, the young apprentice gave themselves a shake before trotting towards the fresh kill pile, picking through it until a small rabbit was spotted. They pulled it out from the pile and took it over to the edge of the clearing, settling down for a quick bite.

Re: WindClan Clearing
[So putting this out there, I found Elder rather amusing, but since he got on Beastkit's bad side, he got on Leechkit's bad side. Also assuming that Elder walked off since he's talking to other cats in the clearing, I might be wrong tho.]
@ ~Storm~ @ feather lily @ Moonraven @ I draw war cats @ Pheasantflight
Elderflare could be informative here and there, but he seemed to be upsetting Beastkit, so Leechkit looked down upon the warrior immediately. That and he had indirectly called him mean, which automatically lost any favor that could have been had with gray tom. He had not been paying much attention to the idiotic nickname that was gifted to both him and his littermates, but putting some sort of ranking system on his family didn't sit well with Leechkit's stomach.
"I'm not their leader, I'm their brother. I've no interest in being anyone's leader, that requires having some sense of duty to those below you. My siblings are not below me, mother merely relies on me to watch over and guide them when she's not around. It's a great responsibility that I don't want to mess up, not only will I gain mother's disapproval, but I love my siblings far too much to let anything bad happen to them." Leechkit responded to Elderflare, hiss a bit as he added, "If you want to know about Mother, ask her yourself. You clearly have a big enough mouth."
Choosing to ignore Elderflare, he looked over to Tawnypaw as she asked questioned on names and tried to entice them into a different story. Leechkit felt his pelt prickle with uneasiness as he forgot about how easily Lionkit got scared. It made him worry a bit, would she always be this scared? If she still got terrified when she was grown, he'd just have to work extra hard with Beastkit to keep her safe. If she didn't want to fight, she'd just have to be a great hunter.
Leechkit glanced over to Beastkit when he scolded him about being nice. "I am! They just came up and started talking to us without giving their names! I'm was just asking what they were." Leechkit growled back at his brother. Beastkit sounded just like mother. Having two mothers were enough, he didn't need a third one. Leechkit silently reminded himself to toss bugs into Beastkit's fur later if word got back to Twilightstar that he wasn't being nice.
Subject change? The tom did a cute little head tilt while mowing over Beastkit's latest question. "I don't know what a subject is." Admitted Leechkit, "but a change I'm pretty sure means something's different so I think it means what we're talking about is going to be different from what we were talking about before." The young cat tried to explain as best he could to his brother, any thoughts of being ire with the brown tom vanished as soon as they appeared. Leechkit didn't cling to his negative thoughts or emotions when it came to his littermates. He swore Twilightstar might get mega crossed if he did, but he found it difficult to stay upset with any of them. Other cats would get a grudge though.
Leechkit stared suspiciously at the new cats that showed up, a touch of disappointment stirred his chest when the only cat he felt he could tolerate beside his siblings, Snowypaw, decided to take off. He wasn't going to say goodbye, even though they were sickly sweet to the point of aggravating him, Leechkit preferred them compared to the rest of his current company. Darkshadow didn't seem all that interested in any of them, good, he wouldn't mind if Leechkit ignored him. Leechkit didn't care nor mind as Beastkit introduced him as well, it was better that way, Leechkit had no plans on introducing himself to the ignorant. He did chuckle a bit when Elderflare explained why he got the name Elder.
"Are you sure it's not because you're a stuffy old furball with bees for brains." This cat was playing with them. Leechkit was positive he was anything but wise. Leechkit couldn't say that he was sad to see the ginger tom walk away to pest some other cats. Beastkit caught Leechkit's attention as he explained something that he hadn't really thought about. Fear was a survival instinct? Was it bad then that Leechkit didn't fear much of anything then? If he obtained the strength needed to keep his family safe, then he didn't really care about what happened to him, but would strength really balance out his lack of fear? Hmm, this was a question to bring to one of the mothers, Leechkit knew something almost wrong about himself. Did a lack of fear factor into that? He shook off his puzzling question and looked over to the newest cat that jumped into their little group.
The new cat, what looked to be another apprentice, Leechkit wasn't sure whether he would dislike or tolerate this one yet. She brought something with her, one of the prey things he's seen Ashmother eat. He's never tried to eat one yet, but he supposed he could give it a try this time around. Leechkit waved his long tail to catch Beastkit's and Lionkit's attention as he got up again, sighing lightly when he saw that Lionkit had somehow made Beastkit all dusty leaning on him like that. He needed to groom them again, later.
"Apprentice--" Leechkit paused thinking to himself, "you haven't told us your name." This was him attempting to be polite while keeping his snappy tone in place. "Do you have something we can try to eat with feathers?" Leechkit tossed the question the molly with the vole.
"Let's pick some feathers for Twilightstar and Ashfeather, we can give them gifts for their bedding from our adventure." He tossed his plan in Lionkit's and Beastkit's direction to see what his siblings thought about it. Mother said that it was nice to ask his sibling what they want to do and for their input once in a while since Leechkit wasn't always right... he was just right the majority of the time.

Re: WindClan Territory
Snowclaw sniffed the air, trying to catch a taste of food. She didn't seem to catch a whiff of prey. Still sniffing, she started to look around, her icy eyes slowly looked searched the area.

Re: WindClan Territory
Another face that Eldersky didn't know.
Stars, her childhood was truly lost.
Staring at Ryecloud, she moves carefully. She moves closer.
And within another heartbeat, she is perhaps a half-tail-length away from the cat.
"You know me. Are you going to act like you knew me?" she tips her head up to peer down her nose at the other she-cat. "Did we ever talk before? Did you ever see me around camp and ask me how my day was going?" The cat's green eyes narrow slightly.
"Are you going to try and get me to go back with you?"

“Rabbit,” she murmured. She crouched down, keeping her tail low, quietly stalking through the grass. The rabbits head popped up and it tensed to leap, just as Ashbose pounced. She quickly chomped its throat, killing it.
