She chuckled " Then i guess you might say he's always there to help." Then she flicked
her tail to him " And your helping us." She smiled hoping he knew how much this meant
for her.

Scalepaw getting up, the large apprentice couldn't help but follow him with his gaze in concern, dipping his head in a silent good night. Snowypaw could feel his stomach weigh down with guilt, knowing full well he had been unable to help his fellow apprentice while simultaneously dreading he had made his condition worse. It was not his place, as to his knowledge Scalepaw had never - as any smart cat - considered him a friend, and the patched tom certainly did not have any expertise on the matter concerning the gray apprentice's lost memory, but he made a note regardless to keep an eye on his denmate in the future. It would hopefully not hurt as long as he kept his distance and avoided further attempts to openly communicate. At this thought, a small sigh escaped him. Snowypaw knew full well that if Scalepaw looked that lonesome again, he would approach him to at the very least offer his company. The gentle giant knew it would probably be best for all if he just learned to keep to himself and stopped these interactions, as they were no doubt pointless to all but himself. But he just couldn't help himself. The mostly white furred tom tended to worry.
Once certain the gray furred apprentice was back in the apprentice's den - and hadn't gotten lost on the way there - Snowypaw got up himself. It was late, and he certainly could do with a good night's rest as well. Blue eyes, however, lingered over towards the camp's entrance. It was getting colder, and he was certain no one would blame him for choosing to go into the warmth of their den. Despite this, massive paws led him automatically back towards the entrance were he had been pacing before.
The tom's injured paw would not allow him to keep pacing for tonight, not if he wanted to keep out of the medicine cat's den for the foreseeable future. He could stand vigil, however, and keep waiting for Deadmoon. Someone had to be here if she came back injured in the middle of the night. Opting to stay sitting down, a yawn escaped his maw, forcing him to shake his broad head in an attempt to wake himself up. Unfortunately for the patched apprentice, it did not take long for exhaustion to win over. Fighting to stay in his sitting position while he kept eyes that struggled to stay open on the entrance, Snowypaw's head slowly began leaning forward as it could no longer keep itself raised. Shoulders hunched over, the massive form seemed to almost deflate itself as sleep won and the apprentice lurched forward, toppling on the ground, unconscious but still determined to wait for his mentor's return.
Lilyheart sighed sadly... the warrior went over to the apprentice and nudged him lightly" go get some sleep tomorrow you can wait for your mentor" she meowed softly
@Alchemist Kitsune
Lilyheart became most concern with scalepaw after him having memory loss the molly was very worried... she poked her head into the leaders den looking around" u-um t-twilightstar can i speak to you" she said the moving forward and her half body sticking out of the den" Im concerned with my friend scalepaw ever since he had memory loss he hasn't been the same im worried for him" she meowed softly
@Moonraven
Plodding sullenly behind the large warrior that had offered up to train him, Snowypaw kept his gaze to the ground, one massive paw plodding heavily before the other in tired steps. His left forepaw still stung slightly from the cracks that had appeared due to his constant pacing, but some rest had ensured the wound had begun sealing. He was surprised Stonecrackle had offered up to take him out hunting, and had decided to keep his mouth shut about his small injury, taking the warrior's offer with haste. Being a mentorless apprentice, he needed all the help he could get. It wasn't until the tom spoke that the gentle giant turned his dulled blue eyes upwards, meeting the warrior's gaze.
The patched apprentice's whiskers twitched as he thought for a moment, recollecting the little training experience he'd had. He knew from Deadmoon he had a powerful nose for tracking, and so far it had not stirred him wrong. She had also taught him how to stalk quite well, his crouching steps now second nature to him. Squirrelear had instead focused on teaching him how to pounce on prey. He assumed he had also been taught how to control his strikes, as apparently his strength was too bone shattering for prey, having the potential of turning smaller critters into inedible splatters if he wasn't careful.
Snowypaw scoffed at this in annoyance. Of course, even something like strength - which he would have hoped to have come in handy - was nothing more than a detriment as far as he was concerned. Feeling like a waste of space, he decided to get straight to the point. He saw no reason to gloat or sing the praises Deadmoon or Squirrelear had given him. Their kindness did not hide the fact that he was a lacking apprentice.
"Tracking," the patched tom finally responded in a soft, emotionless voice. "Stalking. Pouncing to strike down prey," he added as an afterthought. He didn't really know if there was more to hunting, although he supposed there was. There were no doubt more ways to hunt prey if a pounce were to fail. Potentially chasing down prey? Regardless, he remained quiet. He trusted Stonecrackle to know what to do, and if there was nothing else left, he was certain the experience would be helpful regardless.
Sneaking - very vocally - towards the den closest to their own, Lightningkit suddenly stopped, crouching as she prepared for a playful pounce. Her hindquarters wiggling, she leaped into the air, landing on the old nest with claws extended. Blue eyes turned wildly around, careful to ensure no overprotective spirits were here, guarding the soft treasures they sought. The small calico had heard especially juicy stories of this particular nest. Sniffing around and ensuring no new scents were here, she turned to her uncle, her eyes bright. Her uncle had taught her all about feathers, and now, she was going to return the favor, telling her uncle why this particular nest was so dangerous.
"It looks like she's not here," Lightningkit started, her voice barely a whisper. "The queen that used to live in this nest was really scary! I heard she was a really, really big white molly who was originally a kittypet. She fell in love with some warrior... and moved into WindClan with him. But when she was pregnant, he died. I dunno of what. The others keep changing it between a ShadowClan raid and a badger attack. Can't keep their facts straight..." she mewed, suddenly derailing as she went on a tangent, a small pout crossing her face.
Realizing she had completely gone off the story as she ranted, she shook herself, looking around as though if making sure there really was no one around before continuing. "A-nyways... that's not the spooky part! She had a single kit that apparently looked like her mate. She was so sad because the kit never let her forget him, so she took its life and hers! To this day, she is said to roam the nursery, taking kits who come too close to her nest with her so her kit can have friends to play with," Lightningkit finished, her eyes wide.
Unknown to the calico kit, the story was not as wildly exaggerated as it sounded. True, no one had died other than the molly's mate, but an attempt against the kit's life had been made. The story had also been somewhat romanticized, no doubt to make the story somewhat less scary and to keep prying questions away from the kit in questions. Blissfully unaware of any of this, however, Lightningkit puffed her chest proudly, happy to be able to share some knowledge with her uncle that maybe he wasn't aware of. He wasn't a nursery resident, after all! With this, she was sure they would be even on the lesson on feathers from before.
Waspkit smiled again, and leapt up at a tiny leaf. He let out a squeal as the small tom came tumbling back to the ground. He landed on Berrypaw's paws, and looked up at her. "BUZZ BUZZ!" He squeaked again. He shook his head at the second question. "No, well, i don't know, but Twigkit looks a bit like me!"
The cream tom caught the sound of conversation on the side of the clearing he sat on. Twigkit's green eyes drifted to the spot he heard his own name... oh, it was Waspkit... and an apprentice. Talking about him? Twigkit ignored it, looking back down at his special leaf.
(hope you don't mind~ just wanted Twigkit to hear his name)
Berrypaw
Post Count: 39/100
Quizzically tipping her head to the side, Berrypaw listened to what Waspkit had to say. Mostly, though, she was bewildered by the little kit's seemingly endless energy and enthusiasm. When he mentioned the name Twigkit, Berrypaw was subtly made aware of a head popping up in her peripheral vision. Blue and green hues turned towards the distraction and focused on yet another kit, a cream-furred tom much like her(in a way) this time. Having been caught staring, even though by a kit, Berrypaw sheepishly turned her attention back to Waspkit. "Is that..." She began cautiously in a hushed tone, throwing a meager glance in the direction of a kit playing with a leaf. "Is that Twigkit, by any chance?"

[ I do not mind! ]
Waspkit nodded. "Yep! That's Twigkit!" He purred, rolling around.
Twigkit noticed the apprentice looking at him, and immediately did a mini-freak-out. He looked away, and back, and then shuffled his paws, and then caught the glance.
