Moth'Flight hesitated then sped across the clearing shifting her gaze
over her clan-Mates. She quietly sat down and gazed up at Stone'Crackle.
"You okay?" She mumbled with a gentle flick of her tail.

She smiled "Thank you, from me and him" She pressed her nose to his
shoulder as a thanks. "If you have the time would you ever tell me the
story?" She mewed
Foxheart purred realizing she wasn’t a burden to this cat she loosened up. And she took a bite of the rabbit, thank you, I doubt any of the rumors about me are good though which was reasonable and she wasn’t upset about it. It just meant she had to work harder to prove herself. Which wasn’t any different from when she was an apprentice in the clan. Would you like a bite? she mewed pushing it twards the Tom. She didn’t want to take all of it.
The tall tan tom had an amused gleam in his green eyes, "You got me." He raised his paw to cover his eyes in embellished shame. "And here I was hoping you wouldn't see through my plan to distract you with a rabbit while I take the good spot." He emphasized sarcastically. "The camp gossip must be right you arrreee clever as a fox." He grinned as folded himself down upon the earth to the left of Foxheart. He hoped he was keeping things lighthearted, and easing some of the tension from the black and white molly. Beetleblaze pushed the rabbit closer to her, "Its yours." He gave an encouraging nod as he spoke to let her know he really did want her to have it.

"Thanks." He dipped his head curtly, his mouth watering a little as he took a bite of his favorite prey. The warmth of its savory flavors put him even more at ease, as the sun loosened his muscles with comforting rays dappling his tan pelt. As he licked his lips he added "I wouldn't worry I don't put much stock in rumors, the best way to know someone is to talk with them." He paused and looked into her amber eyes with an air of confidence. "You were always a hard worker, even before you left. I don't think any adventure you might have had would suddenly change that."
The emerald eyed tom reflected privately that most cats who were missing a leg would have taken the easy way out and joined the elders den. If Foxheart was so driven to fight for her clan that her handicap had not stopped her, then such an attitude would not be changed easily.
Plodding sullenly behind the large warrior that had offered up to train him, Snowypaw kept his gaze to the ground, one massive paw plodding heavily before the other in tired steps. His left forepaw still stung slightly from the cracks that had appeared due to his constant pacing, but some rest had ensured the wound had begun sealing. He was surprised Stonecrackle had offered up to take him out hunting, and had decided to keep his mouth shut about his small injury, taking the warrior's offer with haste. Being a mentorless apprentice, he needed all the help he could get. It wasn't until the tom spoke that the gentle giant turned his dulled blue eyes upwards, meeting the warrior's gaze.
The patched apprentice's whiskers twitched as he thought for a moment, recollecting the little training experience he'd had. He knew from Deadmoon he had a powerful nose for tracking, and so far it had not stirred him wrong. She had also taught him how to stalk quite well, his crouching steps now second nature to him. Squirrelear had instead focused on teaching him how to pounce on prey. He assumed he had also been taught how to control his strikes, as apparently his strength was too bone shattering for prey, having the potential of turning smaller critters into inedible splatters if he wasn't careful.
Snowypaw scoffed at this in annoyance. Of course, even something like strength - which he would have hoped to have come in handy - was nothing more than a detriment as far as he was concerned. Feeling like a waste of space, he decided to get straight to the point. He saw no reason to gloat or sing the praises Deadmoon or Squirrelear had given him. Their kindness did not hide the fact that he was a lacking apprentice.
"Tracking," the patched tom finally responded in a soft, emotionless voice. "Stalking. Pouncing to strike down prey," he added as an afterthought. He didn't really know if there was more to hunting, although he supposed there was. There were no doubt more ways to hunt prey if a pounce were to fail. Potentially chasing down prey? Regardless, he remained quiet. He trusted Stonecrackle to know what to do, and if there was nothing else left, he was certain the experience would be helpful regardless.
A nervous thumping of his feathery tail against the sandy clearing ground accompanied Scalepaw's words, a mild anxiety clawing at Snowypaw's innards in sympathy. The gentle giant was no stranger to nightmares keeping him up at night, although it seemed Scalepaw remembered more of his than he did of his. Snowypaw might not have been the smartest or wisest cat in the clan, but even he knew that he was repressing something in those dreams. Memories that he did not want resurfacing. His tail suddenly stopping its mild movement, his ears perked up with an idea.
Could it be that the gray apprentice's understandable fear of this monster related nightmare was blocking him? Perhaps he was accidentally blocking his memories in an effort to ensure the memories of the monster stayed away. He had no real way to test this, of course, and his experience on the matter was next to none, but if he was guilty of blocking out memories himself, surely someone who had obviously gone through something dreadful enough to forget might be forcing those memories away as well. A thoughtful frown crossed Snowypaw's patched face, mismatched ears flattening slightly as he patted his muzzle with his paw in contemplation. Certainly the idea of facing these memories alone would no doubt be intimidating, but it might be more accessible an option to simply go through memories on a nicer setting, under the stars, away from monsters who could hurt him.
"At least you do remember something," Snowypaw mewed earnestly, nodding his head as he turned it back towards the stars. "Perhaps it would help, talking about what you do remember? It may be that speaking them... hearing the words I mean, might help ease more memories naturally. And if not, well, I am always happy to listen to others talk," the large apprentice stated in a gentle voice as he turned back towards Scalepaw, eyes closed as he offered a small, comforting smile to his companion. As always, the mostly white furred tom had little to offer, but he supposed it was better to offer that bit than to stay back and try nothing at all.
She smiled gently, her tortoiseshell tail thumping lightly. Her eyes lightened. That would have to get her mind off her kitten's father! Right? She thought, licking her paw softly. Hollowmist bent down slightly and licked the top of Lavenderkit's head, right between his ears.
"Of course, I'll play with you, would you like to invite any of your other siblings?" She meowed, offering a more playful and fun game. While she awaited his answer she counted her kits. 1, 2, 3, 4... 4... Lavenderkit! She looked around, her eyes flitting from one side to the other as she search for the small white and black-pawed kitten. Her white-tipped ears went down with relief as she remembered the kit was right at her paws. Her amber eyes stared down at the little kitten, his paws were just like his father's, black as night.

Quietkit waited for his mothers reply for a few moments before realizing she had not heard him. She had already gobbled up the creature by the time he ventured to ask again. However he was interrupted by a new cat padding into the nursery. The warriors green eyes lit up in the dim hollow, visible against the soft colors of her cream and white fur. Quietkit thought the white tips on her ears looked really cool and was about to compliment her when she began speaking to his mother. He was beginning to feel annoyed. Every time he was about to open his mouth he seemed to be shut down by some other event.
His tail was swishing in a show of restrained agitation as he listened to the newcomer talk with his mother. I still wanna know what a badger is. He thought to himself. He forgot his annoyance momentarily as he heard the bigger cat mention how making a good nest was part of apprentice duties. He straightened up wanting desperately to show he was capable of the task, even if it was as simple as making bedding.

The tailess warrior was pleased to see Hollowist had heeded her, perhaps this loner has some good sense after all. As the queen moved out of her bed Rabbittail padded forward and pulled the old bedding away between her teeth. Once she had dumped it outside she returned and looked at the four other kits who weren't preoccupied with their mother in a game of hide and seek. "Come on now little ones its time to start teaching you how to be proper warriors, and to do that I must show you how to make your mothers bedding." When she was sure she had the kit's attentions she grabbed the freshly rolled moss and unfurled it near to Hollowmists nest.
Her pink nose rummaged through the loose branches making up the base of the bed and Rabbittail began carefully picking any stray pieces that were poking out. She discarded them in a small pile to the left of the nest. She refitted what she could, sliding the small sticks delicately back into the complex weave. Once that was complete the focused warrior grabbed the nearby fresh moss. Its earthy musk filled her mouth as she stretched it over the edge of the branches. She finished by padding down the moss until it was soft on either end.
She lifted her head which was smiling brightly, filled with pride at her own careful handiwork. "There we go, good as new. Next time I'll let you kits give it a try." She glossed her vision over the small bundles. "Now which of you are going to behave like true warriors and help me take this out of the nursery?" Her voice was prim with a hint of sass, as she crossed her paws clearly waiting for many eager replies.

Scalepaw had blocked few memories out in time being but other memories couldn't be block out the gray tom thumped his injured leg forgetting it was even injured he yelped" ouch!" he said as he looked at his injured leg, the toms front paws stomped on the ground as if he was walking... his tail swished and his ears moved all around earnestly, then as the tom was about to reply to Snowypaw the dreadful memory of him and the monster appeared in his head, his eyes widened in fear... he closed his eyes but it didn't help as it only help the nightmare be more clearer to him... his body began shaking almost falling onto the ground in fear as if he was submitting to the nightmare... the tom lashed his tail onto the ground really hard and his paws continued to stomp on the ground, his ears moved around almost trying to tell someone what's happening... the tom didn't reply to snowypaw for awhile then as the dreadful nightmare was gone the apprentice opened his eyes finally but in his eyes he began to look terrified, his paws and tail and ears stopped moving and began to shake making his whole body shake, he laid down curling himself help as he was terrified to say anything, his injured leg was sticking out and his head was dug into his fur, began to cry Quietly... when he stopped crying he stayed as he was but answered snowypaw" b-barely...m-maybe it would h-help" he replied in a shaken voice
