"With any luck dear we won't find anything at all." Her tail flicked back and forth impatiently as she waited for the tawny warrior to rise. Despite her frazzled mood she was glad to have the company. Once she was sure Moth'flight was on her feet she scampered hastily towards the tunnel without wasting a moment. Rabbittail fought back her own fearful memories from moons ago, the image of the black and white beast raging forward from the darkness of a burrow clouded her emotions. As she raced out of the camp she made sure to take steady breaths, reflexively twitching her muscles and allowing herself to take comfort in her own power,

You are warrior not an apprentice now! I musn't allow myself to behave like a startled kit. Two fierce WindClan warriors should be more than enough to handle one measly badger, and that was only if it even showed up. As the cream she-cat continued her brisk run her form began to straighten out, her body assuming a more confident posture. The image of Barkpaws broken body filled her mind. She allowed the fire of hostility to creep into her soul, the fury was a good substitute for the worry that had previously hovered over her. I'm simply not going to watch another paw be taken from the clan. If the warrior had to receive some fresh scars to meet that goal than so be it. Her scarred pink nose twitched again as she headed for Junipers rest to pick up the trail of the beast once more.

Quietkit heard the confidence in his mothers voice, and the warmth of her rasping licks. He allowed himself to find solace in those moments, trying not to be concerned by his deformities. Somewhere in his being he knew the truth even at his young age, but it didn't seem to matter right now. All that was important was this moment, being among the comfort of his family and friends. He slipped into a daydream visualizing himself racing through the open grass, faster and faster. If I try I know I can do it.

As the striped kit floated back down to reality he suddenly felt his stomach rumble and remembered the wonderful taste of rabbit he had shared with Milkpaw the other day. His first piece of fresh kill. He looked up at his mother hardly able to disguise his eager hope, his tail and ears were shooting upright. "Mom can I go grab something from the freshkill pile, I will share it with you." He bargained thinking that she too might be hungry, the kit wanted desperately for her to say yes. He could almost still taste the warm rabbit from yesterday on his tongue.

Vixenmoon sits on the ground, staring up at the moon. Her eyes are filled with pain and she lets out a soft mew.

"Mother..." She whispers to the moon. She thinks of herself as the daughter of the moon, she cannot help but feel that way. The grey-white marking on her chest resembles the moon, and that is her Blessing.

Waspkit was in the middle of his usual schedule~ running laps~ when he tripped over a warrior that had been sitting in the clearing. His paws tangled in Vixenmoon's tail, and he was flung face first into the dirt. The small cream tom rolled over, laughing excitedly. "That was fun!" He yowled, beginning to bat at the warrior's tail as if nothing had happened.

The reddish she-cat looks at the kit, and cannot help but smile sadly. Maybe her mother sent her this kit as a greeting. Or maybe something else. The smile fades, and is replaced with a thoughtful face.

"What's your name? I'm Vixenmoon." She mews, and her voice is so soft it's barely heard.

Vixenmoon cannot help but smile. She loves kits - has always wanted some. But nocat would ever love her, no matter how hard she tries, nocat would ever.

But kits are hyper - and this one(WASPKIT, get it right, dimbrain!) seems like the epitome of hyper.
