coppermist was already padding twards swiftstar before she called him. Within seconds the deputy was standing beside the she cat "yes swiftstar?" He questioned, his tail flixking back and ffourth in an unheard rhythm.

Rosepaw shuffled her paws and nodded "i do....hey...that's pretty weird, finding a kit by it's self." She said as she looked in the direction that blackheart took the mystery kit.

Lunakit wakes up and mews and coughs.

Sweetnose drops the pile of borage leaves in front of Blackheart. "Here. This will allow a little bit of milk to come early so you can feed him. Those kits will be coming soon, but not quite soon enough for this little guy."

"Thanks Sweetnose." She mewed, lapping up the leaves, then finished her sparrow. She didn't want to wake up Lunakit so Blackheart stayed laying where she was. The floor was hard and a bit uncomfortable, but Blackheart stayed where she was, watching the young kit fondly.

Sweetnose nodded. "Yes, it is odd. Well, anyway, we need borage. Could you go and fetch me some, please?"

Lunakit climbs on top of blackheart and falls asleep.

Foxfoot stormed out of the apprentice den, her tail lashing angrily. Ears flat against her head, the fox colored she-cat was by Swiftstar within moments, "Swiftstar, I need to talk to you."
Dragonpaw stormed out of the den after his mentor, "What do you mean you're done?" He yowled angrily at her, his eyes narrowed.
Lillypaw's eyes fluttered as she was woken up by arguing and then a shuffle of pawsteps followed by yowling, she flattened her ears against her head, "Dragonpaw?" She whispered, her blind gaze searching the den in confusion.

Blackheart smiles as Lunakit falls asleep again. She looks up at the cats that stormed out of the apprentice's den. She hoped that they wouldn't wake up Lunakit.

Swiftstar turned to face the angry warrior, keeping a calm demeanor. "Yes, Foxfoot? What's wrong?" She glanced at Dragonpaw, who was trailing his mentor with an equally angry expression.
