Sharpkit shrugged. "You didn't really seem to think about that when you snuck out of camp."
Come on. We're friends now. I'm not going to let you get in trouble when I should have too. And if you don't like that idea, then just let me use my other one. Besides, this is probably the only time I'm going to do something like this, so use it while you still have it. I think I'm putting up a pretty good point, too, right?
Sharpkit sighed, she was probably going to say something everything she had just been thinking of next. And if that didn't work, she didn't know how to convince him.

Please say that I can. Actually, I don't really need your approval on this. I can just do it without you accepting this. Still, it would be nice to have you in on this. Even though I don't really know my plan. It doesn't really matter. I'll just act like I'm super positive about this whole thing. By then I'll know what to do.

"Great, yes!" Sharpkit's smiled was growing wider. "Do you want to come, or just me?"
Sharpkit wasn't sure what she wanted. Maybe for him to come. She wouldn't be that sad if he didn't, though. Let's just see what he says, she looked at him expectantly as she thought that. She blinked. Once. Twice.

"Alright." Dirtpaw nodded. "Come on." He stood up and began to walk to the leader's den.

"Great, let's go," Sharpkit hurried and took the lead.

"Twilightstar," only now had Sharpkit thought about what she was doing and had realized how big of a risk this was. "I would like to speak to you about a punishment you made for my friend, Dirtpaw, here." Sharpkit stopped. She had called him her friend. She shook it off. "If I could be let in, we could discuss it and make it more fair.
Sharpkit wasn't used to-in fact, she hated-being part of something big. That meant she was noticed and Sharpkit did not like being noticed. But, now she had a friend. Someone she had to be there for. And if that meant she got in trouble and all the Clan knew about her, at least she had a friend, right? And Dirtpaw wouldn't say that he didn't want to be her friend, right? Hopefully. Sharpkit gulped. Thinking of that didn't make her very happy.
