Sharpkit froze. She didn't know this would happen. I knew this was a bad idea. Maybe friends aren't so good after all. Why did I do such a stupid thing? At least Dirtpaw's defending me. Not that I need his help. I should just leave now. Sharpkit was going to leave, but she decided that she should spend a little more time with Dirtpaw to undo what he had done. And then I won't be his friend anymore. Or anyone else's. Sharpkit felt satisfaction at this-even though she kind of wanted a friend. But all friends do are get you in trouble. Sharpkit thought of the happiness she had felt when she had realized that she had a friend. That Dirtpaw was a friend. Her friend. Not anymore. All he brought was trouble. All friends bring is trouble. Sure, a little happiness, but other than that, nothing. Nothing. He's not my friend. Not now. Not ever. I'll tell him once we get out of this den. I'll tell him he's not my friend. Besides, he's not like me. He can make other friends. I can't and that's the way I want it. I like it that way.

"Oh." Silentstorm wanted to bang her head against a rock. She had been sleeping! They had woken up the leader for a simple question that could have waited until morning. She glared at Ashnose as though pinning the whole thing on her, despite the she-cat never saying a word. Here goes nothing. Stepping forward, she started to speak, "Twilightstar." Her voice was too high. "Ashnose has a question." Too low. Good thing she pinned it on Ashnose. Moving to the side, she waited for one of them to speak.

Appleshine scrutinized her apprentice's position, then purred, "Well done. Now, go ahead and pounce at me; I'll demonstrate how to flip an opponent off balance." She said, readying herself with a playful gleam in her eyes.

‘Echopaw hesitated a bit, realizing she was the one who was going to get flipped. She gave a slight sigh of resignation, before pushing off and pouncing on her mentor as fast as she could, hooping to take her off guard. @Tiabirb

Curltuft came up over a hill, sighing in relief as she saw WindClan camp. She padded closer to it, searching for her leader. Well, I'll have some explaining to do.

Appleshine could see Echopaw's hesitation, and she purred, "It's alright! I won't hurt you. But how else are you gonna get the idea if I don't use it on you?" It was all part of training!

Appleshine was ready, and she easily slipped to the side and used her paw to hook onto Echopaw's hind paw. In the same heartbeat, she flicked her paw up and pulled her off course to send her sprawling onto the ground. "Nice pounce," Appleshine purred. "Now, what exactly did I do to flip you over?" She asked quizzically.

Breezedapple smiled. "You were very close," She meowed. "Breezedapple. And I'm sure they're were cats I didn't know when I was your age. Now, come on. I'll train you the best I can." She began to lead Bunnypaw out of camp.
