Cloudpaw looked over towards the Breezerock, trying to memorize exactly what it looked like so it couldn't be confused with anything else. "How did the Breezerock end up here, where there's no other big rocks?" The new apprentice asked curiously.

Thistlewing opened her mouth to answer, then just kind of held it open when she realized that she didn’t know the answer to Cloudpaw’s question. ”I… hmm… Maybe it rolled there? From the mountains? Or… huh. I don’t know. It’s been there for as long as I can remember, and probably longer.”

The tabby stretched out his limbs and did his best to swallow his yawn. He had no reason to be tired, he'd been sleeping well. Grumbling at his endless need to sleep he turned his head to the side, looking at his companion who decided to accompany him today. Ears twitching as he gave Sagebite a soft smile, "I'm not quite sure what to look for...but it all seems in order." he hummed. Giving the area a look around.

Shockholly had actually never been to Adder Rocks to know if there was marigold. However, to be honest, it seemed counter productive to ask a single group to collect several supplies. That's why you sent multiple patrols, so each one could focus on one thing.

Crowtooth let out a grunt halting his digging for a second and borerline burying his head in the wall as he lunged for a suddenly exposed vole. The startled little thing had no chance to escape the warriors fangs and with a squeak it was dead the tunneler placing it aside to collect later and carrying on digging. This was when he found a moment to answer the question.
"Yeah voles are blind and cant really smell you like this but can hear and will try and dig away. But if you dig fast enough they dont really get the chance to and once you unearth them theyre too surprised to get away as long as you dont give them time to recover. Now what are ya just sitting around for kid? Find a wall and get digging or do something I dont care for deadweights on a patrol."

Weird little apprentice just standing around staring in the time the tom had explained all this he'd dug up two more squeaking voles from his wall quickly killing them and adding them to his pile. This wall was a bust though right now, he couldnt hear any more digging so it was time to move on to padding along and quickly identifying another good wall from the scuffling and digging his paws in immediately to unearth more prey. Three voles even fat ones werent enough for the clan at all and Crowtooth had broad shoulders to carry as many as he could catch back home.

Appleshine nodded to Shockholly, and she flicked her tail to gesture them to follow her. "Just remember to keep your eyes and ears peeled for snakes. The Adder Rocks are a hotspot." She stated as she padded along one of the trails heading for the site. "If anything, use a long stick to collect the cobwebs; that way if there is a snake, it'll lash at the stick instead." Hopefully no one was foolish enough to stick their paws into these crevices; that'd definitely get a cat killed in a heartbeat.

This was so easy, what was taking his siblings so long? At one moon old, Leechkit had grown even larger, his coat a bit darker like income stormcloud, and his paws taking up a decent amount of ground. He'd be quite colossal when he reached adulthood, but for now, he was still small enough to be recognized as a kit. His eyes were a bright green like his birth mother, something he was rather proud of. The tom was seated just at the entrance of the nursery looking outside (it was sunup he was pretty sure) waiting patiently for his siblings to wake up so he could take them exploring around the camp.

Naturally being the biggest, he opened his eyes first and learned how to walk before the others, he quickly grew to dislike interacting with the other kits in the nursery outside of his siblings. He had learned about the one-eyed lilac she-cat who was his birth mother and then the black she-cat with the funny-looking tail who was his... den mother? Leechkit hadn't come up with an appropriate title for molly, he usually suckled from her when his mother wasn't around. Leechkit simply viewed her as another mother since she was around all the time.

Not long after opening his eyes and his ears started working, he discovered the other queens, but he failed to get as attached to them. Leechkit learned quickly and picked up everything even faster. He grew an ego pretty fast and deemed himself superior compared to the rest of his siblings. He still had to learn a bit more about what it was that went on around in this clan he lived in, he could ask Ashfeather, but some of the words she used or he heard the other cats speak about he couldn't wrap his head around, like warriors, apprentices, and so on. Queens and kits, he knew what those were, he was a kit, Ashfeather was a queen. Regardless of how much of it was explained to him and their 'duties', he needed to go out and meet these so-called apprentices, warriors, medicine cats, and whatever to further an understanding.

Leechkit knew that he was a little strange, whereas most kits just took whatever was told to them at face value and went with it, Leechkit liked to examine everything a little deeper. Like the warriors that defended the clan, he wanted to speak with different ones and learn from them about these ranks. But in order to go he needed to wait for his siblings, he wasn't sure who got the hanging of walking, talking, and listening as fast as he did, and who was still struggling. But either way, he waited, once they were all ready, they could step outside and explore together. Even if he was the superior sibling, Leechkit discovered that doing stuff alone wasn't all that enjoyable. He had already deduced that nothing outside could hurt him because he was in WindClan and cats in WindClan had to listen to his mother, he still had to figure out why that was. Twilightstar always looked tired when she came in to visit, so he refrained. He'd figure out what she did around here later, telling him she was the 'leader' didn't give him much to go on.

"Beastkit, Lionkit, Midnightkit, you guys are like slugs," again had no clue what the heck that was, but he had heard it was slow and that's all that matter. "Are you up yet?" His patience melted away like ice on a hot day as he gave an eager stomp of his paw, someone was getting a cuff if he had to wait much longer.

All she could see is red, the molly was outraged. There were worse cats out there in her clan and yet here was the leader punishing her for losing her way around the territory for specific reasons! Not to mention the leader changing her position!

Some mother you are, a real mother doesn't abandon or desert her clan for any reason. You dear call yourself the best queen, ridiculous."

Songbird scoffed, who was she telling her how to raise kits! "As if you know the first thing about being a mother. All of my kits are grown, have you ever thought about the reason why I would disappear? Huh? The caring mother I am was worried when some of my children went missing so I went looking for them. The first time was went I went out and saw Whitesong, we went on a stroll to discuss the plan of action but we were hit with a landslide." The thought of her late mate being missing sent a sorrowful pain through her heart but the queen wasn't going to dwell on it at the moment. "I never asked you because I knew that you wouldn't waste warriors nor materials to look for lost clanmates, when you have others to worry about. The rest of the times I went missing was because I would get lost looking for my children."

"You will return to the clan as a warrior, or not at all. I'm not negotiating with you. You've no right to return to the clan as a queen, if you not going to help fight and feed the clan, then I don't see the point in allowing you back. "

Since negotiation was out of the window Songbird felt trap. A bird in a cage with no key to let it free. Windclan was her home, the place where she grew up and raised her kits but it would become hell if she was made into a warrior."How long will I have to be a warrior before I can return to my rightful position?" If Twilightstar forced her to be a warrior forever then there would be no use to stay in the clan.
