The Wild horses of the untamed lands

Far away in the old west,where the wild horses ran free,and early settlers came to the valley,a valley full of wilderness and untamed wild,where the eagle flew as far as it pleased,and the rivers cut through mountains and wide plains gave away to open desert.There lived a Stallion,free as the wind,protector of his herd as his father before.His name,Thunder.

leader of the herd:

Stallion: Thunder:A dusty brownish rowan Stallion

Mares:
Clover:A bay thoroughbred with a long, black mane and tail. She has black ‘socks’ (A marking that goes from the hoof to the heel), and a black blaze running down her face. @ShadowWing65

Delta:Golden Palomino with a white blaze down her face @BerryBranch

Sierra:Black and white paint with bright blue eyes @BerryBranch


Colts:
feather:A long legged, lanky filly with brown eyes, a pure black coat, and a silky black mane and tail. @SharpSight


so this is how it works,
1. Typically in a herd of horses, it’s made out of several mares and one Stallion. The stallion protects the herd from other stallions, and other dangers, but he doesn’t technically lead the herd. The oldest and wisest mare in the herd is the leader, and will lead the other to new areas to graze and rest.- @ShadowWing65

2. when typing what your character is saying it is different from the traditional way when you do it like this, "Bla Bla Bla" ,instead when doing with horses it is like this, Thunder whinnied a greeting to the brown horse. or like this : Danger! run! make for the hills and it has to be in italic,and very short.

3. The dangers that the horses face,are: mountain lions or cougars,Humans,hunger or thirst.

4. the names have to be a single word

Willow:Rather tall, but close to normal height, with a silver coat. She has darker grey dappled across it as well @WINGSOFFIRE
