He nodded and listened respectfully before nodding, his face warming more at the last part "I get that kind of. My twin brother was stillborn, my parents took it hard, mom especially. My mom didn't go anywhere near the nursery until I was 3 moons and even then I think it was my dad's idea. I bounced between the queens at the time until then." yeah why not just dump a river of sadness on him, nice going Red. He tried to chuckle off the sadness "anyways-- uh yeah! I'd like that! both hunting and getting to know you!" He thought of the last words and gave a warm smile and purr "I like ya too"

Softleaf purrs happily and brushes past him to the entrance, looking at Redspark.
"Let's go! Even if we don't catch rabbits, maybe we'll catch something else!"
Gleefully, Softleaf hopped out of the camp, making sure to wait for Redspark, grooming his ears and fluffing up his fur to make himself look softer.

Breezedapple led them across the moor, keeping low. The warren was close, the smell was getting stronger. She flicked her tail at Bunnypaw to stop. "There's many rabbits down there, and we don't want to scare them all of."
She remembered the rabbit shortage, which was still going, or at least she believed so. She had been hunting less rabbits lately, so they could repopulate. Breezedapple didn't want to make all the rabbits go running.

Gleefully, Softleaf hopped out of the camp, making sure to wait for Redspark, grooming his ears and fluffing up his fur to make himself look softer.

Redspark purred louder and followed the tabby tom to the camp entrance. He smiled at him and nodded "yeah! no matter what I think this is going to be great" He nudged the other warrior's cheek with his nose affectionately before bounding out of camp.

Softleaf purrs and smiles, feeling his face grow hot. He follows the tom, walking close enough for their pelts o be brushing. He couldn't help but to purr as he felt the larger tom's warmth against his fur. Even though it was hot out, he couldn't pull away. Everything about the tom seemed to pull the strings of Softleaf's heart. His fur, eyes, scent... everything. Shoving the thought away, he began sniffing for any sort of prey, trotting a bit ahead and sitting on top of a small rock to get a better view and scent without Redspark's intoxicating scent covering the prey scents.

The cinnamon windclan warrior swallowed nervously as Softleaf pressed against him. He was almost sure his face was radiating heat at this point with how much he was blushing. He took a deep breath, glancing down at the ground in front of him. He enjoyed this toms company, it was the first time he'd really connected with any cat in his whole life. He was quickly brought back into reality by Softleaf leaving his side. He blinked a couple of times before remembering the task at hand right hunting... uhh He looked around, but his gaze kept falling on Softleaf. He couldn't put his paw on what it was but he was very drawn to this tom. He found his thoughts trailing off to the tom's feature, the way the sun reflected in his eyes took the older tom's breath away.

The prey must be hiding from the heat. Oh well, it gave him more time with Redspark. Heading back over, he brushed against the tom and looks at him.
"I couldn't scent any prey. But I still wanna spend time with you. I just feel like I shouldn't leave your side..."

Redspark's face heated up as the cream tom pressed up against him. He smiled and purred, grooming his cheek in response. He's so sweet... he thought shifting back a bit to look into his eyes. His expression softened, he felt his heart rate begin to pick up, all he could think about was how he wanted to be here in this moment forever. The cinnamon tom wrapped his tail around Softleaf and shifted closer to him. "then don't" he mumbled into the other toms fur as he continued grooming him.

Softleaf purred softly and leaned against the tom, feeling comforted and happy. Then he reached up and began grooming Redspark's fur, his fluffy tail wrapping around Redspark's tail. His heart swelled and felt like it would burst and he could already tell that Redspark was going to be more than just a friend and he was more than okay with that. He looked at the tom, a loud purr escaping his throat.
"What do you think? Are we friends or something more?"
