Softleaf blinks and follows as quickly as he can.
"No fair! My legs are shorter than yours!"
Once they made to to camp, Softleaf was out of breath and he pounces on Redspark, trying to knock him over.

Redspark laughed as he was tackled, stumbled then was pinned "I dunno, I think it was pretty fair" He said sticking his tongue out playfully, leaning up to lick Softleaf's cheek then nuzzle him. The cinnamon tom yawned, he hadn't realized just how tired he was until he'd laid down "Wanna sleep under the stars tonight?" He asked, looking lovingly into his mate's eyes.

"Yeah. I'm too tired to go back to camp and I'm comfortable here with you."

Redspark hummed softly as he began grooming the smaller tom. "It's so crowded in there anyways. I like being alone with you" Another yawn escaped the tom's maw as he cuddled in closer, taking in his mates scent. He felt at home with this young warrior, he made him want to be better for both himself and Softleaf. He purred loudly, still grooming the small ginger tom's fur.

Softleaf purrs and quickly falls asleep, being soothed by Redspark's scent, fur and grooming. He nuzzled into him more, dreaming about things like kits and just normal things to think about when having a mate.

Redspark found himself dozing off, his head rested on his mate. He closed his eyes and settled in "Goodnight Softleaf" He whispered quietly drifting off to sleep by his side.

"Wolfie!" Leopardsong called out as soon as she and her patrol returned from the Thunderglade. She still wasn't super happy with how they had handled the fox, but at the same time, no one was injured and they had beaten back an enemy. She should feel pleased, but all she felt was bad for the fox.

"Bearbranch, Elderflare, and I finished our patrol. The borders were quiet, ThunderClan's border marks seem a little stale, but we did find a grumpy fox there. We beat it a bit too badly if you ask me, but Elderflare blinded it so I don't think it will be coming back any time soon. We got out unharmed and borders were scented."

Brownkit was scared. She had wandered from camp by accident, too intent on chasing a wandering butterfly to notice that she had walked away from camp. She looked around with scared, green eyes. "T-twilightstar?" She mewed, her stutter entering her voice.

This day was a trial of ups and downs. So, the yawn was a bad habit. It wasn't something she needed to worry about, which was good. But why did she feel so nervous? Twilightstar was perhaps the only competent ruler in the four clans, yet Silentstorm was still hesitant to ask her questions. Why? She didn't know. Cats in power made her uncertain, like she was going to mess things ​up.

She could see the leaders face twist into confusion as she paced, but by the time she had finished, the lilac molly seemed to understand. She sagged out of her usual straight-backed posture as Twilightstar ran her tail up and down Silentstorms' back. It felt good to let it all out and tell someone how she felt, but she wasn't certain that the leader was the right person to vent to. "Sorry about that. It just... fell out." Sometimes when she started talking she just couldn't stop. It happened when Silentstorm least expected. When she was talking about one thing and something totally different fell out.

That certainly made sense. Silentstorm told herself that daily. It was like a mantra to her. 'It doesn't matter if you're different. You're still strong.' It was how she kept herself from breaking down in front of everyone, which was something she felt like doing a lot. "I don't mean to be like this. I work hard to show that I'm just like everyone else. Just," she paused and breathed, unsure of what to say. "I guess, my former apprentice messed up my mind set." Stupid Snakepaw- no Rabbitpaw. "He ran off for Shadowclan, and I guess I blamed myself." It was almost her fault. He called her weak, but he was the weak one if he thought running away mde him strong.

"I didn't come here so that you could ask me questions, you know." The joke was meant to lighten the mood, but then again, the answer to that question evaded her as well. "I- I don't really know." Her blue eyes locked on to the leaders single green one. "I guess I wanted to know what position I could benefit the most. I don't really know what Guardians or Tunnelers do, so I didn't want to make the choice myself. All I know is I want to do whatever I can benefit our clan the most with."
