Dewkit flicked her tail. He made sense. The other kits always got in the warriors' way. "Alright," she agreed reluctantly and padded to the nursery. Stupid age.

Featherflight frowned. Well, she still didn't seem happy. Ah, perhaps he upset her? The tom got up and followed her, tilting his head. "Hey... would you perferably doing something else with me? I can't promise anything like going out of camp, but I'll see what I can do!"

Dewkit turned with sparkling eyes and rushed back to the warrior. "Can you teach me some warrior moves?" she begged. Early training! Yes! She was so excited!

Featherflight blinked quickly, a surprised chuckle escaping him. Well, that was a quick turnaround. "Sure, so long as you don't tell anyone else. We'll both get a scolding if the others want to learn," he meowed. "So, what do you want to learn first?"

"Alright," Featherflight responded, rolling his shoulders. What could they try first? "How about a hunting crouch? Can you show me what you think it could look like?"

Dewkit crouched down. Her tail dragged along the ground as she snuck around Featherflight, her haunches wobbling every time she shifted her weight for the next step.

Featherflight hummed, watching her closely. "Not bad for your first try," he started, rising to his paws. "But you want to make sure you don't wobble so much as you move: you could end up scaring the prey. And your tail can startle branches and the like on the floor, so lift it uo, but not enough to call attention to yourself." The tom walked over, nudging Dewkit's legs to allow her a better stance. "You have to do your best when crouching and crawling, unless you want to alert every single bit of prey in the area that you're there."

Dewkit nodded and tried again. She tried to steady her haunches a bit more, and almost let her tail droop too low to the ground a few times, but managed to keep it up.

Featherflight smiled. "Well done," he complimented. "Now, think you can pounce on that leaf there?" He asked, nodding at a small green leaf a few pawsteps away. It seemed easy enough.
