He started padding in the direction of the Weeping Tree,

He remembered vividly the wild panic he had felt as he fled from the blazing camp, the anger, the hate, the rage he had felt when Softbriar left ThunderClan at their time of most need.
"The Deputy at the time was a cat named Softbriar," He gritted his teeth in anger, "They had only just became Deputy when the camp caught fire, and they abandoned us all when we needed a strong Deputy most. Duskstar, the Leader at the time, held the clan together in the time we sheltered with RiverClan- before the terrible incidents of current times, we used to pretty much be allies- but she left the clan forever not long after we settled into our new home, leaving Buckbranch as her successor, who later became Buckstar."
He turned to Juniperclaw,
"Any questions, or shall we move on?"

Juniperclaw followed, uneasy. He didn't know if he could love something like family- he hadn't loved like that in so long. What if he failed?

He looked up at the tree, listening. This was... so many names. It was a history. He'd never had that; not really, just the knowledge of who was currently dangerous, who could hurt him. Not... this. Remembrance.

He didn't know what to do with it. He looked up at the claw marks on the tree, dug deep into the bark.

"... what happened with RiverClan?" he asked, finally.

Dogbark gritted his teeth,
"Coyotes attacked ThunderClan, we chased them out, but accidentally sent them RiverClan's way, and we didn't think to warn them... a coyote broke into RiverClan's camp and killed two cats, and was the suspected killer of the former leader and deputy," He said grimly, "It only escalated from there, cats passing the blame, border spats, eventually cats were killed," He sighed, "I could talk for hours about it, but we don't have that kind of time... follow me, we're headed to Sunkissed Creek next."
The tom lumbered off, his eyebrows knitted together, the past couple moons had been awful for both ThunderClan and RiverClan, so much blood had been spilled, so many lives lost, Dogbark hoped that action would be taken soon, Aspenstrike would have to respond somehow, and if she just played down and showed her belly... there would be problems.

Juniperclaw flicked his ears, thoughtful. He'd have to be careful around RiverClan, then.

He followed Dogbark, away from the tall memorial tree, with its markings of cats long dead, people he would never know.

Larkstorm Le the way to Muskrat More, Blacksun right behind her. "Ok, I think we should go around the edges and see if we can find a good mouse or too. There probably shouldn't be any prey near the center, right?" Why would a mouse live in the center of a mire? That wouldn't make any sense.

She nodded to Larkstorm, and did as planned, going around the edge of the mire to find some prey. It didn't, entirely matter what was found, although wasn't this place known for the Muskrats? Should probably keep an eye out for those too, but for a different reason.
