A Rose In Bloom

Rose was a calico she-cat, a loner at that. She had no Twolegs, had never had one. Being as she was the age of a young warrior, though appeared as if she was older due to the many scars along her pelt from the many battles she had faced since she was a kit. For Rose, it was kill or be killed, eat or be eaten. Her many moons alone taught her to become solitary, but in the previous leaf-bare, she nearly died and so the young she-cat was in search of another loner to hopefully spend the coming season with. Rose had little time, there were few moons left before leaf-bare.

Moxie the slim and tall Siamese she-cat was digging into the ground a bit near what seemed to be an old barn house. It seems the feline was searching for field mice but there’s not many in this time of year, with a sigh she walked off ear a fairly large like sitting down staring at her scared face in the reflection touching it with her paw frowning at herself….how did it come to this? A fearless warrior of Shadowclan…cast out for something she didn’t even do…something her mother did. She sighs and bent down drinking form the water watching a fish swim by @Lunamoon18

Rose began walking to the river, seeking to drink from its running waters. She knelt softly down and beginning to drink, soft licks sounding nearby to Moxie. Little did Rose know that there was another she-cat not too far away from where she was. The feline was not aware of the other cat's presence.

The slim cat sat up and looked over tilting her head confused of the small cat near her looking around a bit worried”..hey..kid…where’s your parents?” She spoke softly as not to scare her away smiling a small bit

She raised her head, revealing she wasn't as young as a kit or apprentice, more the age of a young warrior. "Kid..? I regret to inform you that I've got more time under my pelt than you may have in a lifetime." Her tail swished.

“ It’s a habit of mine..but..seriously…why are you out here alone?” She spoke softly laying down a bit humming a bit at the other cat

She spoke softly, "I've been alone all my life, honestly." She gave the other she-cat a tilted head. "Why are you alone?"

She looked over at the old barn house “ I had a family once..but winter came and well..I’m alone now” she smiled sadly looking at the other

She nodded, "You've been alone a long time, then? Winter is coming soon again." She sighed gently and walked towards the other cat. "Do you have a new home?"

“ no, I stay where I e always been..it’s safe.so..” she looked down in the water
