Shadestorm thought and wrapped his tail over his large paws.
He would have liked for Dawnstar to mention him, after all he had
fought Wolffang, and even thought it had been short, Shadestorm
thought it had been one of the more impressive fights in the whole battle.

"Any ideas?"
she mewed inside his mind, no anger or sarcasm in her voice this time,
something Shadestorm was rather surprised by but apprenticed.
"You?"
"Naming after Dawnstar could work in your favor. Dawnstar's meadow?"
"Too on the nose... And I think meadow sounds too soft for the blood
that was spilled for it."
"Bloodmeadow then?"
"Bloodmeadow..." he mewed, tasting the word and came to
find that he rather liked it, it had the nice, menacing ring to it.

Shadestorm stood up again and took a step towards
the Shadowledge to catch Dawstar's attention.
"Bloodmeadow sounds nice to me" he mewed
and couldn't help but grin at the thought of the dead
bunnies-bodies that would mark the new border, a fantasy may
would call sick but that he quite enjoyed.

@Undertaker I would have more ideas if I knew what the territory looked like/some characteristics so I'm taking a guess on what it's like

A new name? Ravenpaw bounced slightly on their paws. They had heard that naming something immortalized you forever. Like how the Icy Heartlands had been named after Icestar. But Ravenpaw wasn't egotistical enough to suggest something based off their own name, they had only killed one bunny, after all. So just coming up with the name would have to do.
"Ooh! Ooh! How about Blue Glade? Because it's one of the only places you can see the sky on our territory! Or Sinister Grove? Because it will remind us of the fight we did to get it. And if it has a spooky name cats won't want to trespass as often." Ravenpaw wasn't sure if that was a good thing, they were usually itching for a fight, so if cats didn't trespass there would be less skirmish options. But territory invasions were never a good thing. Ah well, it's Dawnstar's decision.

Berrypaw cocked her head. A good name? What could it be? "Maybe... Red Clawmoor? Red for all the blood. Clawmoor isn't really a word, I know, but it sounds okay together. It's named in honor for the cats who fought with their claws, maybe?," she meowed. She had been one of the cats fighting with her claws.

Shadefrost felt ashamed to be at this meeting, he had only shed a few drops of blood while fighting and was pretty bummed out about it for the most part, but since he did participate in the battle somewhat he decided that it wouldn't hurt to give at least one name for the new territory. "What if we call it the Easy Moors" asked Shadefrost a bit hesitantly "you know because of how easy the battle for it was."

Darktiger mews "shaded moor?" She looked at dawnstar having some scratches and wounds of her own.

Nightfoot bit his tongue, watching the proceedings. Bloodmeadow? Really? His Clanmates talked to each other, throwing out gory names. Were they really so caught up in bloodlust that they thought Bunnyblood Moor was a good name?


He didn't have a suggestion. He felt mildly sick, and he could feel Eldershade looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

He looked up to dawnstar. "I agree with Longshadow, that sounds intriguing." He said.

"Well, what if we do Dawn's Meadow, or Dawn's Moor? It is probably the best place where you can see the sunrise from, for one thing. And, of course, Dawnstar."

"Shaded Moor sounds good, too.." she continued.

Naming the new territory huh? A smirk stretched across Grimhound’s maw as the large tabby watched his Clanmates. Some of the names were... interesting. Too obvious as far as he was concerned. It had to have elegance, yet the same ferocity that even the name ShadowClan carried with it. He had a few ideas, thought group participation’s like this weren’t really his thing - unless teeth and claws were involved.

Glancing over his shoulder at his sick buddy, the hound grunted. ”They’re naming the new territory,” he purred, obviously pleased that he had been instrumental in securing it for ShadowClan (at least to him). ”Personally they’re all a little “out there” for my taste. Perhaps something like Reapers Meadow, something a little dark, what say you friend?” His voice wasn’t loud, but wasn’t necessarily quiet. The hound wasn’t really paying attention to actually adding a suggestion though as he snickered near the medicine den entrance.

Emanating from inside the medicine cats den all Grimhound received for his comments was a grumpy growl that changed to a hacking coughing fit as the foul tempered Redshrike was nest locked and unable to even exit to watch the show. His ears were pinned flat and if he had any ability to talk he'd make his unhappiness at being unable to participate in the battle apparent. Who cared what they named the wretched place the only value of the moor in Redshrike eyes were the 'bunnies' on it, if that area was uncontestedly theirs not it'd lost all appeal to the cannibal. At least Grimhound was stuck in here with him now for a time at least, it was a vague comfort that the much larger tom was locked in the most dull place in the camp and not able to enjoy whatever occurred outside of it too. Though maybe not the meeting, it seemed dull and with a snort at the general going ons out there the monochrome tom went back to sleep.
