Wolfkit dragged herself over to the fresh kill pile and sat down. while finishing a small scrawny rabbit she revived her day. in the moning she got knocked into some mud by some of the kits and got laghed at. later she
stared a a flower until sunhigh examaning its leaves, stem, and peatals she was also quite inrested in the middle of the flower. She even figured out some flowers middles are just fore petals like lavender! After finishing the rabbit She sat down and forlornley wached the other kits play because if she tried to join in she knew she would only get laughed at more.

Ratkit is young and her personality is sure to change as she matures, but at her core she is kind, mischievous and loyal to what she thinks to be right. She does not fear StarClan, and often treats them with maybe less respect than they deserve. If she meets them, she'll respond first with anxiety, and then with the same love and loyalty she shows her Clanmates.
She is playful but quick to learn, and as she faces the problems WindClan grapples with she will become more serious. She is determined to not lose her ability to laugh, even in the face of brewing war with ShadowClan, and she believes in kindness and laughter over all.
Positives: Cheerful, kind, loyal, empathetic, understanding, good with emotion and helping others come to terms with their injuries
Negatives: prone to overextending herself, picks fights she can't win, risks her Clan to be kind to strangers/other Clan cats.
Some roleplay ideas:
-Ratkit helps an injured ShadowClan cat despite the war between their Clans, and faces an appropriate punishment. (This can be lead into a ShadowClan cat joining WindClan, or WindClan being put at risk with a ShadowClan cat in their camp.)
-Ratkit starts imitating Peachfrost's more serious demeanor with limited success, and they have a talk about the importance of taking medicine cat duties seriously, respecting StarClan, and not letting a playful nature interfere with duty.
-Ratkit tries to fight in a battle despite having no combat experience, and Peachfrost has to have a talk with her about staying out of battles, because WindClan needs their medicine cat uninjured, and trusting the warriors to fight for her when its needed.
-Ratkit receiving any kind of vision and panicking, turning to Peachfrost for help.
-Ratkit can't save a dying cat, and becomes quiet and withdrawn for several days until Peachfrost draws her back out.
-Anything where Ratkit gets Peachfrost to laugh. Even just once.
Prophecy:
Rats are so often associated with disease and death. I think a neat prophecy would be an unusually clean rat, alone, appearing in the medicine cat den, holding goldenrod or burdock root or another herb. The rat meets Peachfrost's gaze, puts down the herb- clearly a gift- and scampers away.
About me: I am consistently active and answer RPs once or twice a day. When I take vacation or can't answer, I put the dates I'll be absent in my signature. I write multiple sentences in my responses and I try to answer thoughtfully.

The darkness:
The ongoing battles with Shadowclan and Sunkit's design heavily inspired the basis for character. The growing tension and fears of vulnerability would naturally concern their healer. With the other clans' medicine cats being difficult and Peachfrost operating on her own, I'd imagine that sleep doesn't come easily or she's knocked out by fatigue. For Sunkit to be brought up during these strenuous moons, he's not too keen on play fighting or listening in on meetings. Stories of Shadowclan as well as the war between Thunderclan and Riverclan have planted seeds of wariness and uncertainty. Not to mention the scary prey shortage as well. Sunkit was confused. Why was there so much fighting and hardship at the borders? Wasn't the warrior code meant to structure and support the community? For balance in the forest? He admires how Windclan pulls itself up with Twilightstar as the kindest leader amongst the four, though hearing talk of striking back, Sunkit fears more struggles. In his sleep, he seeks calm in his dreams, with hope reaching for something near. Then, he properly meets with Peachfrost in a shared dreamspace, strangely more comfortable in this quiet place than the medicine den of pungent herbs and injured clanmates. He respects her service to the clan and wants to help her; she must see the worst of it all - the aftermaths of attacks. He's just a kid. What did he have to shoulder compared to her?
Sunkit:
Sunkit looks a bit scary and his quietness doesn't help. But he's really a sweet kid and maybe a bit dry. He's well behaved, keeps his coat clean, and says hi to the elders and queens everyday. He doesn't leave that area of camp much because he doesn't want to get in the way of anything. Observing the older cats on the daily, it's obvious - the cloud of apprehension that floats with them all. The fresh-kill pile is smaller these days and the apprentices talk non-stop about battle training. Sunkit doesn't like to feel scared, as with any kid, so he tries not to think about battle much. That was simple enough. Without really thinking about it, Sunkit is more receptive to the tenderness and protective spirit of the clan's mothers and elderly. He respects their compassion and knowledge, with warrior background as a powerful contrasting backdrop to their gentleness.
My writing and offerings:
I think that Sunkit and Peachfrost would get along quite well, with Sunkit aspiring to be a great help to her. However, Peachfrost's distrust of the other clans may peck at Sunkit's comfort as he gets older. I think this could lead to interesting discussions of where their complicated feelings stem from: on one side, a young solo healer trying to support a battle-riddled clan vs Sunkit who's early upbringing was full of confusion towards the politics of their wars.
I got quite some range with writing! I do my best to read the vibe of the thread and my rp partners. Long posts are fun to exercise my writing, and shorter, quicker replies are totally doable for light fun - they also help to practice quality over quantity. Years ago I used to join fan clans all the time to give my shot at writing a medicine cat, so I thought I would give this a go! I'd love to get more involved with WCO and build some super cool relationships, and I know that'd be a blast with Sunkit.

Personality overview
A more, pessimistic cat, they’re the type who will always question what will happen next, and usually, it’s a bad thing that first pops into her mind. Because of this, she always tries to prepare for the worst, at least, physically, not mentally, which is one of her strengths, yet downfalls.
Because of this, however, she also tries to be as courageous as possible, and I don’t mean with claws and all that stuff, although it could happen, but more so just, conquering the worst, conquering her fears, like how real courage is.
One thing that may surprise you though is that she oddly is keen on giving others the benefit of the doubt, which can lead to a fault. There are very few figures she will see as truly evil and in the wrong, so if something happens and she is unsure if the cat being blamed is actually in the wrong, she will go all in and out to find out the truth, which would usually just lead back to the cat.

Plot Ideas and how they might mesh with Peach
In a way, these two can be seen as polar opposites, Peach is judgmental yet upbeat, and Berry is pessimistic yet open-minded, yet I think that’s why they’d work well, they make up for what the other doesn’t have, and could even teach eachother a lesson or two, plus, they do have things that are similar, such as their loyalty.
I’m not, quite sure on plot ideas? I never have ideas for those like, 80% of the time, but my best bet would be based on how they’d work with eachother and learning from one another, as in my opinion, mentors can learn from their students as well, and in a way, that’s also important to learn.

Uh okay this one is...a bit wonky, generally if I have an idea of what to post, which is most of the time, I can do 1-4, maybe 5 paragraphs, but if I’m clueless or am given short posts, I respond with a paragraph or two at most. As or how long I am on, I’m on every day, although my post thing is all weird now thanks to my May hiatus, I do prioritize more important posts if I have an idea on what to put for them though.

I tend to put the thoughts more than the dialogue or even actions of my characters in my writing, as I believe it allows for more depth, but for people to know the character more, not sure if this will affect anything or not but, hey, might be important to know.

I present you Jaykit, a older kit of Windclan. [I know you're probably busy with all the applications so I split this up into bite-sizes pieces... but... I couldn’t just pick one sort of application... so... here are all of them...]
Staring with the basics, are you active?
Yes, it took me a few weeks to get started but now I login every day and truly enjoy rping here.
Would Jaykit be good for the role? If so, why?
Jaykit is a very responsible and kind kit but their shyness and fragile heart together with the fact that they were don't have a normal tongue and have trouble pronouncing some letters makes them very shy and closed and everyone looking at them is one of their worst nightmares. Jaykit is compassionate and hates watching others hurting, no mater how small their suffering is, and really likes helping others.
When is Jay's apprenticeship gonna happen?
Jay is old enough to become an apprentice and if Rookfall wants to we could make him one before she gets the dream I thought of.
How do you write?
I always try to write about as much as the one I'm responding to, so that I don't just write a line or two when to one I'm rping with put so much effort into their post but so I don't have to write a book-page when I only have 20 words to work with and I NEVER write just one line if the other one didn't do so. But I do have dyslexia and don't have English as my native language, I don't have trouble writing on my computer, I just thought it might be important to know.
What kind of med-cat would Jay be?
He is very attentive and won't have trouble remembering herbs but doesn't like talking and will sometimes just look at the one who needs help and try to dissuade the treatment from there rather then ask them. It would take a while before he really trusts anyone, even Peach but I'm sure she can get through to him. ^^
Describe Jay if he was an adult human?
What kind of question is that?! Uhm... ok... They'd be an orphan after their parents left ofc... and... He would have a horrible sleep-scheduled cuz of nightmares but be too nerves to try coffee... Oh, and they'd always have a piece of paper in their pocket where it reads "I can't speak", even though it wouldn't be completely true they'd show it when a stranger comes up and talk to them cuz it'd be less embarrassing.
Tell me more about Jaykit's family?
Jaykit's parents are NPCs named Stormfeather and Sootdapple, two fromer rouges who joined WC at about the same time and boned over that. They were good parents but one night when Jay was about 4 he remember his mother whispering something in his ear that he couldn't quite make out, he didn't think much of it and just assumed she was simply going for a walk... but neither she, his father nor his brother Onyxkit (NPC) ever came back...
How would Jay be at the med-cat meetings
The first one would be a nightmare for him and he would remember it as one of the scariest moments in his life. He would stay remarkably close to Peach, even if they had not gotten super close yet she would be the one he trusts the most and, not counting a few questions he might mumble to his mentor, he wouldn't speak a word.
How would Jay's and Peach's relationship be?
I can see Peach trying to get closer with her new apprentice but Jay being reluctant to trust her for a while and barely speaking for the first moon and be a bit scared by her size but slowly but surely he would start to take a liking to her. The med-cat gathering would be a big moment for him and most likely the slow turning point for them, Jaykit would be freaked out by the other med-cats (especially Snakeheart) and always be right next to Peach, as she would be the one he trusts the most. After that they'd slowly become more and more close, maybe Peach could even save him one time and eventually they'd be really good friends and Peach would most likely understand him more and more without hi having to speak
If Jay were to become a warrior apprentice, what kind would he be?
Hmm... He would work very hard to remember every thing and be pretty good at hunting but also very scared of fighting and most likely use every little scratch as an excuse to go to the medicine den but instead go of some where peaceful and breathe, just try to calm down. He would always be hunting to get some time alone and hate to go on patrols.
So there is a med-cat rule, do you think Jay will ever break it?
I doubt it, as I said he is very responsible and has never had any interest in having a mate or kits (he thinks love is kinda gross).
How would his relationship be with Starclan?
I think he’d be very nerves about talking to them at first but it would get better after a while, and he’d be very spiritual when he becomes a full med-cat.
Ok, one of the most important questions; why are YOU interested in the role
Life’s kinda boring sometimes and it seems like a fun opportunity, be sides, I haven’t rped as much as I would like lately so this would also help with that. I know that sounds very selfish but I really like Jaykit and want to do more with them
Does Jay believe in Starclan
Yes, he does believe in them but is not sure if he trusts them yet and will be a little wary of them, especially on his first meeting with them.
Do you have any plot- or arc ideas for Jay?

So, Jay is already struggling with his gender identity so why not add some more identity-questioning to that and have Jay figure out he is aromatic, I already have the plot planned out but I can’t reveal too much now can I?
The second plot relies on Jay becoming a med-cat apprentice and I won’t spoil too much of it either but them meeting a friendly rouge that they can bond with and Jay would consider it a nice change of pace to have someone not treat them differently because they’re a med-cat-app
Do you have a name planned for Jay?
Yes, there is one I really like but I can’t reveal that, I saw how exited people got over Icicleripples name so Im gonna keep it a secret for now...
What does Jay think of the other clans
They'd be a little scared of them but would eventually warm up to Icicle and maybe Bounce I think, but Peachfrost's views would also rub of on them a little.
How would Jay know herbs and how would he heal?
He’d be very careful in remembering all the herbs and sometimes just sit and look at them and try to remember what their names are and what they do and get extremely nerves if they forget something. When a cat would come to him for healing he would usually just look at them or wait for them to speak instead of asking questions, and he would prefer to have Peach do the healing and have himself, just bring her everything she needs/ asks for.
Finally, do you have an idea for a dream?
Yes, Peach would be in a nightmare where a cat is dying at her paws and she doesn't have the herb to cure it when suddenly a blue jay comes flying with delicate wing beats, caring the herb in its little beak. It lands in front of her and places the herb on the dying cat, curing them. The jay looks at Peach and sings a little melody and even though it's beautiful something is of, as if, even though it wants to it can't sing properly, just as Jaykit can't speak properly.

Jaykit is a blue cat with deep, dark blue eyes and small paws. They have a darker stripe that goes from their fore-head, down their back and fades into the slim tail. Their fur is short and smooth and they are generally smaller then most cats around them.
Jaykit is has a very curios nature but his nervousness often hinders them from going on any adventures but they really like watching, both other cats, birds and even some bugs and insects (not spiders though, they scare Jay). It isn't uncommon to find Jaykit sitting in a corner of the camp or nursery and listening to/watching others and their conversations, there's a lot one can learn from just that and it's Jay's way of staying informed on things without actually talking to anyone.
[Just random stuff about Jay]
-Jay has a deformed tongue and has trouble pronouncing some letter (r, t, d, etc.) and they often use their body-language and get a little annoyed if other don't or don't understand them.
- Jay is struggling with their gender identity and is currently using he/they
- Jay's parents just left him in his nest one night but his mother whispered something to him before that and he often has dreams about that moment but he can never make out what she says.
- Jay likes to sit in a corner and watch others as they just live their lives but when(/if) he becomes and MCA others start to notice him more and he isn't sure how he feels about it since it was his favorite hobby. Moons and moons of that has slowly made him pretty good at spotting sighs of nervousness on other feelings.
- Jaykit was created when I randomly got obsessed with blue jays (at the same time I changed my name from HoneyFlame so Singing Jay)

"My name..."
That was the only thought is Jaykit(/paws) head. "That's my name, she said
MY name?!" No... no that couldn't be... there must be another Jaykit,
someone what had just joined Windclan. They thought, their mind frantically
trying to make sense of what they had just heard, no matter how irrational
it was, it still seemed more likely to them then Jaykit becoming the apprentice
of a medicine-cat.
They looked around as subtly as they could, trying to see if anyone would step
forward, but no one did, instead some cat that knew them turned to look at
Jaykit... not great... After a moment that seemed to drag on forever, even though
it couldn't have been more the a moment, they carefully took a small step forward,
small and smooth enough that no one then the that wasn't already looking at them
would barely notice the movement, and if anyone did they might just think that
Jaykit trying to see the BreezeRock better.
One step, then another, and checking if anyone else moved, but no one except a few
more heads that turned towards the blue-eyed kit and one tom scuffled to the side in
front of them once he realized the Jaykit was moving.
"Guess it's really me then..." Jaykit thought to them self as their paws,
that previously had been like frozen to the ground now slowly, but more and more
surely brought them towards the BreezeRock. A sudden tingeing in their stomach
actually manged to crack a genuine but ever so slight smile on their face. They,
Jaykit were about to become a medicine-cat apprentice, one chosen by Starclan! The
fact that Starclan had picked them out helped ease the fear bubbling like hot water inside
Jaykit, if Starclan saw them fit for the responsibility of caring for their clan... then they must
actually be able to do just that...
Jaykit's time to think was over as they reached their soon to become mentor and the
warm feeling in their stomach was suddenly gone. It wasn't the Peachfrost was a bad
medicine-cat by any means... but she was rather large... and a bit scary... to the point
that Jaykit's thin legs started shaking a little. They quickly dipped their head, not wanting
to let her out of his sight before nervously shuffling their paws, unsure what to do next.
