Songpaw sat alone again. Wondering what he should be doing. Hunting? No, he was still kind of tired from the patrol. He then looked around the clearing. Looking at his clanmates. he realized that he barely knew most of them. Maybe it was time to get well acquainted. He lied himself down on his legs and presented himself as in the mood to talk and waited for any-cat to come over out of curiosity.

rainypaws nose scrunched up slightly when greysquirrel tapped it with his own. "I..guess we can..yeah," they shrugged. honestly, they would much prefer to leave the meeting now because they were angry at aspenstar - a nap sounded nice too. but they didn't have much time to think about naps when a kit came bounding over. greysquirrels kit to be exact.
bushkits request made them frown, just slightly. "I would prefer to, uh, stay out..of the nursery, for a bit at least." they spoke, shuffling away from the two just a tiny bit. hopefully bushkit wouldn't mind that response.

The kit’s ears perked up when the apprentice rejected his question. ”I- But-“ The kit blubbered. He looked at his father, before remembering his father’s lesson about how people can do what they want, not what he wants. He puffed his cheeks up and dipped his head in disappointment, waiting for his father’s answer.
“Mom! Mom! It’s not going to be that long until I become a apprentice, so can you tell me a story when you were one? Pleeease? He pleaded. He looked at his mother with begging eyes, praying to Starclan she would do so.
Looking around the campgrounds Honeyrain stopped Noticing a cat standing on its haunches and presenting itself for others to notice. Making her way over to the tom she stops, "Hi I'm Honeyrain," she said.

She looked down at her pleading kit, giggling at how hopeful he looked. "Oh alright, I'll share one." She mewed, settling down into a comfortable position. She gave him the get situated look as she began to speak. "Now, I didn't have many adventures as an apprentice, so don't expect this to be an exciting exploration to find some lost clan or something, alright?" Not waiting for his little nod of consent, she mewed. "Once, as the young, innocent little cat I was, I had absolutely nothing to do. My friend was out on a patrol, and my mentor was doing the same. I wasn't up for socializing, so I snuck out of camp to find something entertaining. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but as the young apprentice I was, I didn't think things through too much." Pausing to think, she continued. "Now, I wasn't allowed to be out of camp by myself, due to foxes and badgers, and possibly other cats, but I was hungry for something to to entertain me for a while, so my mind focused on that and only that, making all the risks that may be involved fade away. I stopped a few times, to squash some ants, stalk some birds, toss some stones, but that clearly wasn't enough for me. Then I saw it, there it sat, the most dangerously coolest thing in my mind... A beehive.
Now, I'm not quite sure what I was thinking at that time, but somehow I thought it would entertain me, at some extent. I watched as bees went in and out of the hive, which seemed to be precariously attached to a tree, so I slowly approached it, crouching, ignoring the angry bee buzzes as they flew around my head, warning me to back off. Something inside me was tugging me back, telling me it's too dangerous, but there was also something pulling me forward, telling me that I need to grow some skin, and that I might face one of these in the future, so I need to know how to deal with them." Sighing, she added. "Of course, I listened to the voice pulling me forward, which was a big mistake. I remember once I was directly under the hive, I leaped. I attacked it. I attacked the hive."
Thunderpaw was so exited! she was an apprentice! And Cherryblossom seemed nice! Thunderpaw ounced around exitedly. "When can we start training!" @Jayden

The kit listened contently and curiously. The kit couldn’t help but laugh. “You really did that!? And no one stopped you? Lucky! But anyways, what happened next? The kit asked curiously. He never expected his mother to be a very adventurous type, but he never got to know his mother before her time as..well a mother. He tail flicked as he listened, before grinning, waiting for his mother to continue.

She chuckled, "If only there was someone to stop me, then I wouldn't have come home like I did. Anyway, the nest dropped like snow in a storm, so fast that I didn't realize it was falling until it hit me on the head. My body jostled from the collision, a faint crack! ignited in my ears. Dazed, I backed away, everything was fuzzy, I couldn't hear anything but an ongoing ringing. I remember feeling numb, as I stared at the fallen beehive. I did it! I thought, my body exploding with triumph. I'm not sure why I didn't realize this sooner, but just as the beehive came into focus, I was getting attacked by bees. I guess the feeling in my body was delayed from the hit on the head. Of course the moment I realized this, I started yowling and swatting at the bees. I decided to run away, go back home. Then home I headed, back into the Thunderclan camp, but then I stopped midway. I don't want to bring the bees with me, do I? So I turned away and ran as fast as I could from the bees and I camped out at a broken down tree for the night, exhaustion taking over me. Of course, I woke up in the morning in the medicine den, with some very disappointed faces." She finished up, sighing at her sad, sad apprentice hood.
