Larkfrost stared into the crowd, her gaze raking the scene in search for her kits as she heard their names being called.
She hurried to Greysquirrel the moment she saw him, and gave his muzzle a quick lick to apologize for her late appearance.
"Do you see the kits?" She asked, her fur getting on end at the thought of them not knowing where she was, even though she was currently in the middle of an attempt to find them.

Snakewhisker smiled, watching his younger sister roll around in the dirt. Simply watching her brought back many memories from his own childhood, although he wasn’t as energetic as he would have liked. The tom hoped that Swiftkit would take the time to actually enjoy her childhood rather than be like him and waste it away alone. But, by the looks of it, she seemed to be enjoying it plenty. “You’re so silly,” he purred, playfully booping the kit on the nose with his paw.

She giggled and sneezed when her nose was booped smiling up at her brother playfully nipping at his paws and napping at them running around him a few warriors and such might have been woken up but nit many “ come on let’s play!”

Leafecho padded through the entrance into the clearing, her two mice dangling by their tails from her mouth. She immediately took in the mass of cats gathering beneath the Thunderwillow. Oh mouse dung, I'm late to a meeting! She padded quickly to the freshkill pile and added her catch to the collection then bounded discreetly to the outer edges of the gathered cats, lifting her gaze to the leader.

She smiled softly at the kits being called up. At least she was catching on to some clan practices, she quickly recognized the apprentice ceremony. The last apprenticeship ceremony had landed Leafecho a surprising responsibility as she'd found herself thrust into mentorship. The thought made her glance through the gathered cats for her apprentice. She pinpointed him out in the crowd; she'd try to remember to catch him after the meeting. She hadn't heard much from him since he was assigned as her apprentice.

The tom gave his mate's ear a quick lick in greeting. They're all up by the Thunderwillow. It's their apprentice ceremony! the tom whispered in excitment. Pride had seeped into his voice, but he didn't hide it. His chest puffed and eyes shone as he stood tall to see his kits over the heads of all the cats.

Immediately as the four kits came forward, not wanting to waste a second of time, Aspenstar looked at the kits. good for them, their punctuality was... promising. Rosekit seemed quite accident-prone, though. A snake fell out of the sky, dropped by a hawk. Poor, unlucky kitten. Slatepaw and Thistlerose both stepped up to help the kit, and she nodded slightly at them, grateful. Whether they saw it or not.

She paused. There were other things to address, but right now, the young cats needed to be welcomed as apprentices into the Clan.

Rosepaw stopped screaming quickly, taking a few deep breaths. It gave her a scare. Honestly, she should have expected this, it was going too well otherwise. At least it was over, kind of. The leader hadn't called her out on it. A surprisingly nice warrior had come to check on her. Why? It surprised her. What didn't surprise her was the apprentice's reaction. That was what she deserved.
Now, time for more horror. She had to find her mentor. She mumbled awkwardly at the warrior and went off, wondering who Lynxshine is. Maybe he'd find her? Unfortunately, her legs were still trembly from the spook and she tripped, rolled and collided with another cat, who she would soon learn was her new mentor.

As her grey eyes darted around the cats behind her Mistkit--no, Mistpaw now--caught the gaze of her father and mother practically beaming near the back of the crowd. Giving them a nervous smile she quickly turned back to glance at her siblings' reactions to their new names and mentors.

Larkstorm huh... Her brain churned as she tried to put a face to the unfamiliar name. Perhaps they would come to her before she had to call out for them, cause that would be embarrassing. Paws shuffling awkwardly as she turned to search the crowd once again, peering around for anyone who could maybe resemble a large flock of birds....
