The kitten was in her nest, leaning her head over in boredom. She didn't have any friends and didn't quite know how to even do that. It wasn't that she was mean. She was a super nice cat, but cats haven't always been friendly to her. Her mother left her alone and her father was nowhere. She truly felt all alone. Her brother was off somewhere and her sister was probably with him. Pumpkinkit was always left out. She was used to it.

Thunderchaser growled and stood up. She quickly stormed out of camp. This clan was a mess now. Nobody has been a good leader. Although that was mostly from Eveningstar breaking her trust in the clan. Her paws dug into the ground with every step.

Dogbark had been enjoying a pleasant meal by the entrance to camp when he spotted Geckosun standing idly about, not really interacting with anyone.
Maybe I should invite her over here? I mean, I have plenty to spare food-wise, and I really need to integrate myself back into ThunderClan, when I became Deputy I felt a little distant from my fellow cats, I need to bridge that gap.
With his low, rumbling voice he said,
“Geckosun? If you aren’t busy I’d be pleased if you joined me for a meal?”

A ruff purr ripped thru the toms throat, what did he have to offer? Hmmm.. What did he have to offer? This question sent a flash of humour across his eyes, although deep down he felt a bit uncomfortable. Why? He knew he was worth nothing important, and what under line skills did he possess? He could lie himself out of any situation, heartlessly mutilate anyone that got on his nerves, sleep for two whole days, and fight dirty. Was that all? Was that all he had to offer?
The options made him reflect on his miserable life, huh.. He really was a joke- But wasn't everyone? " Good question, very good question, " he replied finally " my sense of smell is a bit whacko, I can fight pretty damn well tho. Besides from my great looks and charm.. Thats about it." OZ coughed slightly and shuffled his paws nervously in the dirt. At least he was being honest.. Well kinda. " Now doll-face, before u jugde my lack of litterly anything important, u should be flattered by my straight up honesty. I mean it's not every day that a guy like me admits he's a worthless piece of crap." rolling his broad shoulders, he let his brows furrow into scowl. He really hoped this lady appreciated is ethics, or they were gonna have problems.

Sprigpaw's excitement faded into guilt. " I know
It might be awhile before I am fully
accepted." He looked at Aspenstar, he
would take any punishment he had to.

All that mattered was that he was home.

He thought about just turning and running
again. But he knew from last time... he
couldn't just run from everything.

It had caught up to him right when
he has stopped. There. Was .

Cardinalkit couldn't form any words, he
could already start to see the pity coming
from Aspenstar. He burst into tears.

Dark, glassy grayish-blue eyes glinted in the aftersoon as Drizzlekit trotted swiftly to the place Sagekit sat, giving them a small smile.

"Hey Sage! Wanna hang out?" The dark cream-ticked tabby nudged the other kit.

With his tabby tail lashing and his dark green eyes blazing with an hot fire inside him Fernpaw stormed into his cousin den, raging with all it's might when all of the last moons built up anger and hatred finally bursted out, forming in a hurricane of words, hisses and insults.


"TRAITOR!!!" Was the first word for escape his mouth. Because that was what she was, a traitor. To her own family, she should have taken HIM as a an apprentice, not stupid Egg-brain! Not only that, not only had she taken an idiot over her own blood as her apprentice, she had given her cousin a mouse-brain of a mentor instead!!!


"You were supposed to take me as your apprentice! ME, not Egg-brain!!!" Without granting his older cousin a breath to speak he continued on, his face deepening in a frown and nose wrinkled up as his lips pulled back in a snarl. His jaws snapping together between every sentence and his claws digging deeper and deeper into the soft ground as every heartbeat passed. It felt like the den was closing in around him but in his mind he was growing larger and larger, expanding with rage. If he didn't do something, he felt like he'd explode in a fit of rage."Did you really think I wouldn't care that you just dropped me of to someone else, did you think that just letting someone else take care of me would fix ANYTHING, that Bumblesqueaky could train me or tell me something I don't already know?! Well you were wrong!!! He sucks actually, what's the point of having a mentor if he won't train me enough?!" He finally took a moment to breath. Well, the last thing wasn't competently on the point but it was still important!


When Aspenstar first announced who his mentor would be he had been in a blind state of anger, a hot mixture of bitterness and shear rage as well but that was nothing compared to the fury now roaring inside him. Then he had promised himself to show her what he was made of, to show everyone and make then regret ever doubting him, but his patience was running out and fast. He had just had another god-awful training session with his equality useless and dump mentor.

If her ears weren't folded over, they would have been perked on the top of her head when Dogbarks invitation reached her. Glancing over, she could help the look of surprise that crossed her face. Her? Really? While she would normally pass up the offer in favor of letting the queens and elders eat first, since it was almost halfway through the day and, well, the deputy was the one inviting her over, she was sure it would be fine. "Are you sure it won't be a bother?" she inquired, padding over to the scarred tom.

Misty thrust her way inside aspenstars den there was no time for fear or hesitation if she was to join. her fluffy white and sliver fur gleamed as she stood in the dim den her eyes gleaming in determination she would not back down without a fight! Standing taller she continued forward towards the russet cat who’s eyes seamed to dig there way down into the deepest parts of her soul and mind. These forest cats fascinated her in many ways and she might as well be their muse and torture bag for now but watch out! I’ll become strong and I will become a cat to be proud of if it’s the last thing I ever do!

She continued forward until she was in front of the russet she cat I am misty i come from a long ways away I have been told this is where I belong by a ‘starclan’ warrior named Hawkeye. her voice was silky and smooth as she spoke her ears perked and her tail held high. Her blue green eyes dug deep into aspenstars amber eyes like knifes digging into a butchered animal. I will work diligently and hard even if you do not accept me as one of your own I will work hard to please you and your clan.

Rootspark listened intently. He didn't know Larkstorm as an apprentice, but he felt more comfortable around her than most cats. It was good to know that the feeling was mutual. "I used to be like that. Really it was just when my apprenticeship started. When I realized that I-" He realized what he was supposed to be doing and quickly started to rake his rock with his huge, thick claws. The rock looked quite worn, and it had many moons worth of claw marks on it. Clearly Rootspark had had it for a long time.

Larkstorm watched as Rootspark raked his claws against the worn out rock. “Have you been doing that for a while?” She asked, curious. Larkstorm always sharpened her claws on an oak tree not far from the camp. Never a rock though. That was something new. And the fact that is was so worn out showed that he had been doing it for a while now. This was interesting.
