“Of course.” Clearlight was growing fond of this little kit called Crowkit as well. And it wasn’t just because they were both so new to Clan life and particularly this Clan. He was very thoughtful, though slightly hesitant to talk. She hoped to see him around the nursery and the camp, and that he would become friends with her future kits. Maybe they would grow up to be warriors together.

Crowkit sat beside ClearLight, taking in the warmth of her presence. Not before long, CrowKit fell alseep.
It wasnt long till dreams of anothers past would well up in his mind, telling him a story that he would not forget any time soon.

Brightkit was listening and she was listening good. Her ears pricked up with every new name called, and her heart faltered everytime it wasn’t her and Flowerkit. She knew the two of them were old enough to be apprentices now, something that Brightkit, but not so much Flowerkit, had been excited about over these past few moons. However, even if she wasn’t called yet, the little Kit raised onto her paws and padded a little further forward, parting her jaws and raising her voice. “Welcome!” was the one thing the little smoke-point kit had called out, her blue eyes shimmering in the light that filtered through the trees leaves. Her paws scuttled softly along the ground as she let out a little huff and listened to the political things happening around Thunderclan. It was always Riverclan this or Riverclan that, Brightkit never paid much attention to what was happening as she didn’t want it to be a damper on her mood. Her gaze followed Aspenstar, who was perched in the leaders spot when making announcements. The molly looked so powerful to Brightkit when she was so little and on lower ground.
Brightkit had been watching Aspenstar that she hadn’t even realized she was walking straight towards another cat. A little “ow! Oh, I’m sorry!” had escaped her as Brightkit blinked her eyes open and stared towards who she had bumped into. “Flowerkit!!” her voice was a slight purr when she had seen her sister, but nonetheless Brightkit had pressed her side against her sisters and ran a little lick along her cheek. Brightkit was silently wishing their mother was here to see them becoming apprentices.

He was watching as the new cats were introduced. Two new queens, some apprentices and a warrior seemed like good additions to Thunderclans numbers. Maybe he should go and socialize with the former outsides, see how they’re adjusting to clan life, it was difficult for him at first so he worried it may be difficult for them. But as a voice was picked up by him and a familiar scent filled his nose, Mosspaw twisted his head to look towards Bushpaw, who he had last remembered being Bushkit. A slow blinks had happened, as if he was trying to remember who this was or if he was forming a response, before a grin appeared along his muzzle. “Hey Bushpaw! I’m doing great, what about you?”.

Rustfall zoned out most of the meeting, only hearing Aspenstar's words in the back of his head. The russet colored tom was instead thinking about the cool breeze that scuffled his fur. He felt an odd feeling in the wind. As if something dangerous was approaching.
Never mind how the wind feels in your fur, let's hear what Aspenstar has to say.

He perked his ears as the leader called up the six-moon-old kits. New apprentices? The tom silently prayed to StarClan that Aspenstar would consider him as a mentor.

Gaze half lidded, he gave the strangers a foul glare. Oh boi- Here comes the welcoming patrol... This meant two things, some cats actually seemed to care (well at least on the outside) and that if random conversations were this common then he might have second thoughts on staying here. Sitting up a tad straighter, he had a mental clash on wether he should be cold and aloof or somewhat charming and chatty. Well he wanted to make a good first impression...... "The names Vulture'fang, dog breath. And I suggest u scat before I run out of patience. " He didn't hide the utter annoyance in his tone, because hey, they were the ones who wanted to start yappin'. Turning his icy stare to the other rat- I mean cat.. Vulture'fang didn't hold back any snarky comments. " You just gonna stand there and stare? Or actually talk half-pint?" yes the comments were rude.. But boy did it feel good to speak his mind.

He blinked his eyes with surprise at the tom's rude comments. Perhaps he had bothered him at the wrong time. He thought about whether he should be insulted or scared. The insults didn't really faze him he heard worse from his mother. There was a hint of annoyance in the toms voice ask he glared at them. Could he possibly be annoyed that he was trying to be friendly? He stared at the ground with nervousness and started kneading it out of habit. I'll just make a tactical retreat then see if he wants to talk at a later time... Oh but I wonder if he's gotten a tour of camp yet! "Oh well, I just wanted to say hello! Who did you get as your mentor?" Silkheart hoped he wasn't being too nosey. He threw a glance at Halfbite wondering how he would respond to the new tom's comments. Am I that short?!

When she first felt someone coming towards her Flowerkit had honestly expected it to be someone who had come to ridicule her and her blindness, finally saying the same things to her face that they had whispered behind her back so many times. Then when the cat had bumped into her she had just thought it was just another clumsy cat like Mushroomkit, well that had maybe been more on her... But when she manged to catch their scent and heard the familiar voice a slight smile lit up her face. It was Brightkit, her sister.

"Brightkit." She mewed in greeting still with a smile and a little dip of her head. She was glad she had family left who would talk to her. Mistyshade had been rather absent lately and Flowerkit had never even talked with Pantherprowl, the cat who was supposed to her other mother... Oh Starclan! How could she have forgotten!? Sparrowflight of course!

"There is something i have to tell you" She mewed to her sister, one of them. "You know Sparrowflight, a young warrior who as has a lot of energy? Well, Mistyshade adopted her. Brightkit, she is our sister!" Searching her littermate's scent and sounds for any type of reaction, since she of course couldn't read her expression, she waited for an answer.

Stargazing, ironically. She couldn't see the stars sure but she felt it, felt Starclan watching down on her. It was soothing to know she wasn't completely alone, she didn't know anyone else who was blind in the clan but she couldn't be the first blind cat in the clans ever, so somewhere in Straclan that would be someone who understood her...

"Listen and talking mostly" she mewed. It wasn't a lie, she liked gaining knowledge about others, their lives and what was going on. But there were few cats who really liked talking to her, they seemed to feel uncomfortable by her odd looking eyes. "What about you?"

"Well, um, almost?" Foxpaw was an honest cat. She didn't like to lie. He had done pretty well, for a kit. His paw had made him sloppy though, so she couldn't say he had done well. But then there was the morals of that. Who told a kit they didn't do well? It wasn't very kind, but once again, Foxpaw wasn't an expert on kind. Or kits. Or anything, really. "I'm not the best teacher, you should leave that to your mentor." She blinked. "When do you become an apprentice? It must be pretty soon now. Oh, and do you have anyone you want to become your mentor?"
