But CrowKit wasn't about to argue with Clearlight. she had been kind to him, much kinder than most of the clan cats.
CrowKit smiled at Clearlight, "true. do you think that means StarClan intends to keep my belly full?" CrowKit laughed. jokes wasn't his strong suit, but he felt more comfortable around Clearlight.

Mrowing in amusement, Clearlight sat down, curling her tail around her paws neatly. She would never be this tired if she wasn't a queen, but Clearlight still wanted to talk to Crowkit. Not many cats in the clan talked to her, and Crowkit made thoughtful conversation for some cat of his age. "Do you have any siblings?" Clearlight questioned. "Any family, of any kind?"

The brown tabby warrior sat himself down at the edge of the clearing, trying to wrap his mind around everything that has just happened over these past weeks. Not only had the conflict with riverclan basically been resolved, but thunderclan didn’t really seem to be facing any real threats anymore. Which was what he had thought, until he realized there was something on the horizon that had the potential to cause even more devastation than that conflict just had, leaf-bare.

The tom began pacing around the clearing in a state of sheer panic. Leaf-bare was approaching. Leaf-bare was approaching, and there was nothing the tom could do about it. Mousestorm had never liked leaf-bare to begin with, due to the shortness of his fur, but the recent tragedy had made things even worse. Thunderclan was not prepared for this at all. They were not prepared, for winters rath.

Cinderpaw's head bobbed up and down as Dripberry patted the two of them, the fur on the top of her head becoming even more disheveled than it was before. Not that it mattered to her, though. She shot a look towards Bumblepaw before answering her new mentor's question.

"Well... Nothing, really. Tawnybutt was useless." She huffed, shaking her head angrily. He thinks he can just leave the clan in the dust like that... So much for a senior warrior. "But that doesn't matter now, anyways, 'cause we can train now! We should go to the part of Firefly Grove we got and ditch Bumblepaw there, 'cause I'm sure he's not scared of ghosts." She sneered, her eyes shooting daggers at her rival. Even if she didn't hate him as much as before, that didn't mean she wouldn't still poke fun at him sometimes. Or a lot.

oh no!! another mentor? first pinewatch disappeared, then sleepycloud - and now he had to have a third mentor?? it was a bit funny. just a smidge.

cornpaw looked at the molly approaching him, scrunching his nose when she touched hers to his. neither sleepy or pine had done that, but they also hadn't said they were proud to be his mentor. "YEAH!! you should be proud, because im a super DUPER cool apprentice, if you didn't know." the bengal loudly responded.

She didn't get much of a response/recognition from the new cat, but others seemed to be coming up to them (both to welcome and snarl). Mistpaw shook her head in disbelief at some cats comments before her attention was pulled back to Aspenstar at the mention of her mentor.

Wait. She was getting another apprentice??? Was Mistpaw gonna be replaced by this slightly older and more experienced cat?!

Curling in on herself ever so slightly, the young grey molly muttered a quick, "See you later in the apprentice den," to the other Mistpaw before slinking closer to where Larkstorm stood with Cornpaw.

Oh gosh, this cat seemed much more confident. And loud. And kinda rubbed her the wrong way. She could feel her tail start to fluff up in agitation and she desperately tried to hide it by dropping it to the ground, but she sat there patiently until the two had finished talking to speak up.

"Um... Hi Cornpaw," her voice seemed small in comparison to the rather boisterous bengal. "I guess we'll be training together?..."

The kit sounded reassuring, and Beechkit found himself nodding along as he spoke. Of course she would! She wouldn't wander off too far. After all, he wasn't quite the age of an apprentice yet - Mama wasn't allowed to leave until he left! That's what she had told him, after all. And Mama didn't lie.

"It's nice to meet you too, Crowkit!" the tan tom chirped back, essentially dancing from one paw to the other. He wanted to play! Beechkit didn't know a lot, but he knew a playful stance when he saw one. Games were about the most fun thing he and the other kits could do, since the camp clearing and territory were off-limits. At least for another moon. "Okay! What game didja wanna play?" he asked, copying the older kits stance, tail puffed out behind him.

CrowKit struggled to think of something. It was true that he was a little older than the small kit, but he had spend most of his time either sleeping or eating. Games weren't hus strong suit, but he wanted to have fun with BreechKit.
Thats when a familiar story popped into his head and CrowKit got an idea!

CrowKit needed at the ground nervously. Truth was, CrowKit just remembered waking up one day and when from queen to queen, nursing as need be before he'd fall back asleep!

Larkstorm laughed at Cornpaw’s comment. “Yes, I’m sure you are. And I’m sure we’ll do wonderfully together.” Corn paw definitely didn’t need any confidence boosts like Mistpaw. Though he might have ton much confidence, which might not be so good in the long run. Confident apprentices some times did things they would regret.

“And yes, we’ll have to all have to train together. It will be fun, trust me.” She turned to Mistpaw. “Don’t worry,” She whispered. “I won’t neglect you. In fact, I think Cornpaw can learn a thing or two from you.”

Crowpaw looks both ways before trotting into camp carrying a birdbone he found. The black tom bounces into another cat and he looks up at them. "H-hi I-I'm sorry for bumping into you." He says softly.
