Ivypaw wasn't always the biggest fan of kits, but she did at least appreciate the fact that this one was willing to learn. She wasn't scared of fighting or blubbering about dying, like some other cats that she had met before. Like Ashhiss. Ivypaw frowned as she remembered that blubbering queen. How pathetic. Needlekit was young and seemed to want to learn, and kits could be annoying sometimes, but once again, Ivypaw had been a kit herself not too long ago. She watched Needlekit as the she-kit crouched down and jumped. She didn't go very far, but she landed neatly. When I first practiced it, I was pretty wobbly. Ivypaw frowned. She didn't like cats outperforming her. But I was better at other things. I was young, too. I'm still better than Needlekit. She's getting it, but she has some way to go.

Ivypaw nodded. "Better. You still have to learn how to jump farther, but that should come with time." It might be petty not to teach her extra because she didn't want Needlekit to outperform her, but she'd learned enough for now. The Clan matters more, and she's eager to learn. You might as well. Needlekit was still unsteady, but Ivypaw had only been two moons when she had first learned the move, too. She sighed inwardly. Why not. "Next time, before you leap, put more weight into your haunches. It'll bring you farther. And then we can stop there." Ivypaw considered teaching her the front paw swipe, but she decided against it. She was still young and had a lot to learn, so maybe she shouldn't go beyond that.

Needlekit nodded at Ivypaw’s words. She wanted to learn more from the apprentice, but she supposed the apprentice didn’t think she was ready. But that was ok. Needlekit wanted to perfect this move before she learned more anyway.

She crouched low, remembering all Ivypaw had taught her. This time, she put more of her weight into her haunches, just like Ivypaw had suggested. She leapt, going farther this time and not even stumbling over herself. It was almost as perfect as Ivypaw’s. She trotted over happily to Ivypaw, Needlekit’s tail high and waving. “Did you see that?” She asked joyfully.

At least Needlekit was listening to her and taking her advice seriously. Ivypaw watched the kit closely as she did the leap again. Not bad. Almost as good as hers, which she was in no way happy about. Calm down, she told herself. The kit's ability to catch on fast - something that Ivypaw had - would be good for ShadowClan. Her form was good and she had done the leap properly. Ivypaw gave her a nod. "Good job. You'll be able to pounce on your enemies more efficiently with that move. And prey, although you'll have to be much more stealthy for that, I think. I should probably be on my way. Training and such. Keep practicing." With a flick of her tail, Ivypaw turned and padded away, leaving Needlekit to her own devices.

Her little eyes shimmered and gleamed with joy. Laurelkit was attempting to act like she was older, which to her meant keeping herself from bouncing all around this warrior and squealing about how happy she was that Robincall had agreed to show her something. Instead of doing that, Laurelkit attempted to wait patiently for the warrior to finish setting up. Peeking this way and that as she paid attention to what he was creating with the moss, her little brows raising in interest as Laurelkit trailed just behind Robincall. When he mentioned pretending it was a mouse, her eyes suddenly lit up with understanding and Laurelkit gave a few quick nods, but the touch of the grass tail and roused a little giggle from her.

An amused grin appears, somewhat proud of himself that he managed to get the kit to giggle, and the fact she was acting as though she was already an apprentice. How the kits grow up so fast at the thought of impressing others. "Alright, before I tell you the next step let's do a bit of a test~ What do you think the steps are next when you spot a mouse? Let's pretend they are nibbling away at some berries."

He lightly bounces the moss as though the mouse is munching on something. Needless to say, the warrior is really enjoying the role he is playing. It also gives him a bit of a chance to see what the kit has learnt just by looking at her peers.

That was a lot of purring going on. Brackenfire raised a catbrow at the other she-cat, then her face broke into a smile. Less forced, this time. "Oh, did you now?" Who had told her she liked lizards? They were decent, not her favorite. But that didn't matter. Food was food. "Well, thank you so much, Honey!" She exclaimed, mouth forming a small "o" shape. Gingerly taking a large bite of the reptile, she swallowed it and purred. Mm. Ok, this one was really good.

The large molly nodded, deciding to cut her soft act. She could still flirt, just be more aggressive. You like it, then? she said with a clock of her head. Her grin turned to a smirk. Her tail thumped against her paws impatiently for the brown molly's reply. Her yellow eyes flashed with that same impatience, though she had only asked the question a few moments ago. The larger cat was not very satisfied with waiting on others.

Vixenpaw spotted the rogue when they entered the camp, shooting to her paws as her fur stood on end. "INTRUDER!" she yowled loudly, hoping to get other cats attention before throwing herself at the tom. There were kits, queens, and elders in camp, and he was a danger. It was her duty to protect everyone and prove that she was loyal and a strong fighter! Letting out hiss, the apprentice aimed a swipe at his muzzle, hoping to drive him back and towards the entrance.

Frost heard a shriek, then a cat tried to attack him. Frost had fought Clan cats before. He could handle this cat. But he heard Sky meow to him, saying to run. Sky was his second-in-command and a good cat. Growling, he ran off. "I'll come back!" He called to the cat.
