Honeyfoot stretched out in a patch of sunlight near the entrance to the nursery. She got up, and as she did so her body convulsed. Her legs buckled beneath her.My kits are coming! she thought.

 

As she lay down her stomach convulsed very painfully and a brown and white kit slid out. Another painful convulsion and a yellow, brown, and white tortoiseshell kit slid out. Placing both kits by her stomach, she fell asleep.

“Oakfur, you have a son and a daughter,” she mewed, talking in sleep.

Elm' Kit looked up at eagle' kit " Oh! Hi" he stared at the leaf that was no was smashed and he whispered to the leaf " Your now defeated" He purred a bit and sat up " Im Elm'kit " He smiled ( He has a crooked jaw so crooked smile)

“Elmkit? That’s a cool name!” His pelt puffed up and his face got serious.
“Do we need to start a war on leaves?” The ultimate revenge…and a fun game! He purred at his silly idea.

Elm'kit looked around then at the defeated leaf, he puffed out his chest and exclaimed " Why of course! They are dangerous beings! I will defeat everyone of them! And if you'd like you can join me!" A glimmer in his eye and a simple smile.

He purred and leapt at a leaf tearing it up with his claws.
“Yes! I can’t let a friend go into battle alone!”

Elm's eye's glitterd " Then let's head out!" he lept up " Lead the way!" He mewed. Tail held high.

He held his head up seriously and marched out. He tripped over his paws on the way but recovered with a giggle. Then it was back to seriousness.

He squeezed out of the nursery his mock dignity ruined by his unceremonious exit. He shook his fur and continued his march. Then as spotted a leaf he dropped into a crouch like he had seen the apprentices do. His balance was all off, making him look goofy. He almost fell onto his side, but quickly righted himself.
“Target in sight. Waiting for permission from mission leader to proceed.”

Elm mocked Eagle and watched eagles opponent " Proceed" he whispered before spotting another leaf " I'll head after that one" He pointed out before running after it. When he lept up he leapt up awkwardly and slipped. He missed the leaf once again and landed on his back but the leaf was nowhere to be seen.

He nodded and pounced, but undershot and ended up blowing the leaf away. You won’t escape me that easy! He hurtled after it and soon caught up. Right before he could swipe, however, the wind picked it up and moved it away from him.
“Pigeon feathers!” He giggled repeating something he had heard warriors say. He turned to see how Elmkit was doing and giggles again. He turned around and raced to his side.
“These leaves sure are tough!” He panted.
