Well, this was expected, but I never really thought I’d go through with it…
I am looking for a love interest for Dogbark.
Help-
Anyway, looking at Dog’s interactions, you can pretty much get the gist of this grumpy old man, and might realize there’s more to this dude than meets the eye.
For a long time Dog’s been subconsciously looking for someone.
You know, someone.
Now, I’d like to make it happen!
So, requirements:
Must be early to late 50’s (Will even do late 40’s maybe)
Must be ThunderClan
You have to be quite active even to apply, I’m not taking any chances.
Would prefer she-cats, but open to others.
This cat should be someone who will care about Dogbark for more than just the fact that he’s Deputy, obviously.
Please don’t make your character act in ways untrue to them just so Dog will like them more, don’t make characters solely for this purpose.
Please don’t be upset if your character isn’t chosen! Thank you!

We currently have a roleplay going on between them now, but I come to you with a plot idea if you are interested...
So currently I don't want to seek a love interest for Cindersky incase she gets selected for ThunderClan's medicine cat/medicine cat apprentice role. BUT. She is currently getting over the death of her true love, an outsider that she had planned to run away with. Ever since then, she has been terrified that her sister is going to divulge this information to Dogbark or Aspenstar and get her exiled. So she decides to be proactive and showcase how loyal she is, how good of a warrior she is, whenever Dogbark and Aspenstar are around.
Since Cinder grew up alongside Dogbark (a new apprentice when he was a senior apprentice, a young warrior when he was already experienced, etc) she could try her best to break him out of his grumpy shell, despite knowing what a challenge that is. Over the course of time, she could start to actually fall for him, and tries to spend as much time with him as possible.
[THIS ONLY OCCURS IF SHE IS SELECTED FOR MC]
She goes to sleep one night with the intention of telling him her feelings, but that's when her sister threatens her into giving Aspenstar a fake sign from StarClan about her being the next medicine cat (unbeknownst to her Aspenstar received the same sign and it's very real). So the next morning she goes to Dogbark and Aspenstar to tell him, all the while feeling her heart break because she knows that by doing this, she can never tell Dogbark of her feelings and has to keep them hidden. Thus, her sister has evidently won; by forcing her into a role she didn't necessarily want, and baring her from ever pursuing a relationship with Dogbark.
...Thoughts? If she isn't chosen to be medicine cat, I would be open to developing their relationship further! I do like the idea of the plot though. Dogbark is a lovely character who just looks like he needs (several) hugs! (:

I love this! This is really well thought out! We can certainly try this out! I think it will go well too!
The plot sounds great! And I really like Cindersky’s character, and know you probably won’t be changing her to fit any kind of mold haha!

@Willowfern I'm really glad you like it! I did quite a bit of research on what's happened in the Clans past to formulate her character and who she is today (:
She definitely won't be changing, that much is certain. Awesome, I look forward to developing them more!
