He couldn't help it. This was fantastic. Stars, why had he avoided the first part of the meeting again? Would that have been as fun as this was now? His expression danced with barely-suppressed glee as Dogbark turned on him, and he shrugged, only lifting his brows a miniature amount. "Sorry. It's kinda hard to escort somebody who doesn't wanna be escorted, y'know?" Was Dogbark suggesting he should have used force? Blegh. Too much work for a cause that he really didn't care all that much about. Besides, Spiderthroat had raised some pretty good points, he thought. Why wait for the invisible force in the sky to take action when it would be easier to do it themselves?

Oh, and now Aspenstar was speaking up again? Wow. Kind of too late for that, now, wasn't it? Even going as far as trying to give the kits their apprentice names. Yikes. That wouldn't boil over well. Technically, the meeting was over, but Lynxfuzz felt like there was still something interesting worth sticking around for, so he remained where he stood.

SwiftPaw was excited now and proud but she felt bad for DogBark he didn’t do anything wrong he was just..doing what should have been done while AspenStar was away but she stayed quiet and held her tounge

The messy-furred warrior had been... rather deaf to the sound going on outside the dens, but as his leader's voice broke through to his dreams, and as the russet tom left, his jaws pattng in a yawn he could make out new apprentices getting their mentors. Dang it! He had missed the chance to get one again. He wasn't angry over it, he wasn't angry over anything, but he would have liked some little things to have around. Puffing up his chest slightly he thought of all the things he could have taught one of them. But whatever, nothing one could do about it now.

Shrugging a little he poped down beside a clanmate of his and tuned to them with a smiling grin, looking for some small talk. "New apprentices hu, those all always fun to have around wouldn't you think, could help us out if those pesky Shadowclanners get up to anything." He didn't actually care all that much about what Shadowclan was up to, fights were always a little annoying, but fun as long as no one got too badly hurt. But he had noticed many others liked to gossip about what the other clans were up to, so maybe that could work as an conversation starter.

This story sounded terrible! His eyes stretched wide as he soaked in every detail. An apprentice attacked a kit! Why was Breezekit being such a meanie? That wouldn’t happen to him, would it? The thought made him tremble a little. He was sure he couldn’t win a fight with an apprentice, even if he wanted to. He wondered what Duskstar had done. Maybe punished her? Yeah that must be it!

“Did-did she keep her a kit forever and ever?” Eaglekit squeaked out as a guess. His voice and mannerisms reverting to that of a kit younger than him in his shock. He hadn’t quite caught the part about Duskstar not liking slackers. Even if he had he wouldn’t have understood what it meant.

Loudbird had been sitting quietly until now, certain that the leader and deputy would be able to handle this whole mess, but now Ashstar was saying Dogwoof was practically conspiring against her?
Smh, Aspstar was quite silly.
“If I may, Alderstar,” She began, her dainty, ever so sweet voice drifting from her mouth, “You see, Doghowl was merely trying to get rid of Spiderweb’s ever so annoying yelling that was disrupting the meeting. In all fairness Adderstar, you were doing zip.
Oh, here’s an idea-
Spidermouth, do be a dear and shut up, no one wants to hear you crying about how things aren’t going your way, darling, it’s not at all charming.
Though, you are pretty handsome…
Ah, I’m losing what I was saying, poor, pitiful me… oh wait!
What I was saying! Yes!
I am beautiful and you all should shut up!”
Well, that hadn’t been what she’d originally planning to say, but one couldn’t help if one was distracted by one’s own uncontrollable beauty!

~ Sparrowflight ~

Ah... And this was why she tended to avoid this she-cat. Whatever 'perfume' was had her on the edge of sneezing, she could only pray to the sky above that the scent would wear off before she retired to the warrior's den for the night. If not Sparrowflight would be sneezing and have a tickly nose until the next full moon. Her forced smile faltering ever so slightly as Loudbird messed up her name twice, and the tan warrior steeled herself for what could end up a fruitless quest.

"It's Sparrowflight actually," she quietly corrected before clearing her throat and twitching her nose to get rid of the mint-induced tickle. "I'm actually on the hunt for Dogbark if you've seen him. These two were outside of camp on their own, so I need to report back to the deputy. It wouldn't do to have us lose two healthy kits during Leaf-bare or have them get sick or injured without a medicine cat."

Her silent pleadings to Starclan increased tenfold as her ears twitched back to listen to the kits murmuring about their prospective punishments. She hadn't wanted her day to go this way, she was looking forward to a peaceful hunt, perhaps a run to stretch her legs, and then a nice quiet nap with her clanmates. Now she could only hope that Loudbird had recently seen the deputy, or she was going to have to pull together an excuse to get out of this conversation and find him herself.

Not even wasting time with a quick grooming, Dogbark leapt on a log to call patrols, emerald eyes hard as he scanned the clearing, calling the first few cats he saw.

“Lynxfuzz [ @Papaya ], you and Sparrowflight [ @Jayvines ] go hunt by the Weeping Tree.

Sunchaser [ @arden ], take Softpaw [ @WinterMara ] hunting at the Starlit Meadow.

Sundust [ @Naiad ], you take Rosepaw [ @Shade. ] hunting near the Sunkissed Creek.

Lastly, Nectarflame [ @implimm ], you and Loudbird can hunt in the Muskrat Mire.”
Perhaps placing Nectarflame with Loudbird wasn’t the best idea, but the clan needed prey, and Nectarflame and Loudbird just happened to be there.

“Cindersky [ @tulle ], take Sagepaw [ @sid ] and Swiftpaw [ @Binx ] to the WindClan border.

Leafecho [ @Toodle ], you and Larkstorm [ @Raven~ ] check the RiverClan border.

And, finally, Snowwolf [ @A Wolf ], take Wolftiger [ @Darkside ] to the ShadowClan border.”

Patrols are due by January 18th!

Blinking the sleep from her eyes, Sparrowflight padded out of the warriors den and dropped into a deep stretch before yawning. Her run before bed had stiffened her muscles more than anything, perhaps it was getting a bit too cold for her recreational jaunts through the territory this Leaf-bare... Ears pricking up at Dogbark's call for patrols, the tan warrior glanced around the clearing for Lynxfuzz.

A slightly younger warrior than herself, if she remembered correctly. Also, wasn't he usually carrying grass or something around? Bright green eyes attempted to locate her hunting partner as she shifted her weight from side to side in an attempt to warm up her paws. Hopefully his hunting skills would prove lucrative at their assigned location.

Rosepaw felt conflicting emotions. On one hand, she was glad to be out of camp for a while, after it seemed yo be turning into a verbal battleground. She also wanted to help ThunderClan any way she could. On the ither, she was NOT looking forward to the misfortune that would inevitably entail.

She knew very little about Sundust but he seemed rather level-headed. Oh great, she couldn't wait to embarrass herself in front of more clan cats. She knew many disliked rogue origin.

Larkstorm stretched and walked over to Leafecho. "Ready to go?" She asked him. She wanted to get this done quickly, so they didn't anger Dogbark.
