The old molly stretched as she prepared to leave her den. Time to go on a walk and enjoy this nice day! However, as she approached the entrance Tigerpaw came in. Lavendersnap blinked in surprise. I wonder what they need.

“Sorry, dearie! My bad! I’ve got old eyes.” She joked with a purr. She gave Tigerpaw a bright smile and a friendly flick of her tail.

~ Raypaw ~
Raypaw grabbed a rabbit off the prey pile and walked towards the Elder's Den. He decided to visit Lavendersnap, currently the only elder in the den and in the Clan. He hadn't really sat down to talk with her yet, but he realized that the she-cat might have some good stories or advice or something for him! He brought the rabbit over, hopefully to get into her good graces. Maybe she would be willing to tell him a story then? He knew some elders could be grumpy and mean, but he was positive Lavendersnap wasn't like that.

He padded into the den carefully and looked for Lavendersnap. It wasn't hard to spot her, she was the only one in the large space. He wondered if it might be lonely for her all by herself in here. "Um Lavendersnap?" He said through the rabbit."Hi. I'm Raypaw, I uh brought you something." He walked forward, his head slightly bowed respectfully and set the prey near her.

Tigerpaw halted. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She mewed. "Am I bothering you Lavendersnap?" Tigerpaw wanted to know if she could help this WindClan elder. "Id there anything I can do for you?" She asked.

The elder started for a heartbeat having not expected any cat to talk to her. However, when she saw Raypaw and his rabbit a warm smile spread across her face. That smells delicious! What a thoughtful young apprentice! She thought with a delighted flick of her tail.

“Why, thank you so much, dearie!” She took a bite of the rabbit. Nothing beats Windclan’s rabbits! She thought proudly. She studied Raypaw for a moment while she chewed wondering what sort of story he might want to hear.

“Now on to business. There’s only one way to return the kindness of a gifted rabbit, and that’s with a good story! So tell me, what kind of story would you like to hear today?” She meowed when she had swallowed. Lavendersnap’s tone was serious, but her eyes were full of laughter.

The old molly flicked her tail a little surprised. Her joke hadn’t landed quite like she had hoped. This apprentice seemed all too serious. She decided to make it her mission to help her relax and have a good time. Training can be so difficult and tiring. I bet that must be the reason. Lavendersnap reasoned to herself.

“A sweet apprentice like you bother me? No dearie you don’t have to worry about that. And I don’t need anything, although that’s very sweet of you. I was just about to go for a walk. Would you like to come with me?” She hoped Tigerpaw would accept her offer. She’d very much like some company. That and she hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get to know the apprentice. Now was as good a time as any!

Her voice seemed calm, but her eyes were full of excitement and happiness and Tigerpaw's brain won't shut up. She fought the urge to start running throughout the camp, screaming "LAVENDERSNAP ASKED ME TO JOIN HER ON A WALK!!!!" at the top of her lungs, and Lavendersnap could definitely see her energy and happiness.

(Getting Tigerpaw to calm down and relax is a good idea)
(And she didn't run throughout the camp screaming at the top of her lungs. She stopped herself knowing that she proully would get punished by Twilightstar and Wolffang)

Asking Tigerpaw to go on a walk with her had apparently been the right move. The old molly’s heart was filled with joy to see the excited look on her face. Tigerpaw reminded her of a younger version of herself who was barely about to contain her excitement. It’s not often you meet a cat this sweet! I think I’ll enjoy our walk immensely.

“Well than, Tigerpaw, we better get a move on!” Lavendersnap purred. She lead the way outside with an excited twitch of her whiskers.

Raypaw was happy to see Lavendersnap's delighted expression. He walked closer and plopped down onto the ground as she ate. She had seemd amused and definitely not grumpy. He purred happily for a moment, flicking his golden tail. Lavendersnap asked him if he wanted to hear a story and he immediately perked up. How did she know? It was like she could read minds! He tried to put on a serious face to match Lavendersnap's serious tone. "Glad you like it." But then he saw the laughter in Lavendersnap's eyes. His face immediately changed into a excited expression and there was no question to him what kind of story he wanted to hear.

"Ooh yay! Thank you Lavendersnap! As for what story? Hmm..." He pretended to think about it so he didn't seem too eager. She might think he wasn't mature or something if he acted like an over excited kit. "What about a story of a famous Windclan hero? I want to be a famous hero when I become a warrior. With battles and glory!" He stood up excitedly and proudly as he said the last part, before looking sheepishly at the calico. He sat back down again, a bit embarrassed.

Honeystorm walked into the den, sweeping the are with her eyes. She spotted Wrenkit and curled up next to her with an exhausted body.
