➢The small tortoiseshell shekit sighed and rolled onto her back, swatting at a tiny feather that floated through the air. It was snowing outside and Brightkit was stuck inside the Thunderclan nursery with nothing to do. Her parents would probably scold her until her ears fell off if she snuck outside into the snow. This made her sigh and frown in boredom, where were her littermates when she needed them? Her light green-hued eyes flickered over to another kitten that was heading her way. She didn’t know who the large kitten was, but she was willing to find out so that she could have a playmate! Brightkit rolled onto her stomach, initiating a playful crouch position as the young shekit eyed that tomkit with a keen smirk on her tiny muzzle. “Salutations, friend. My name’s Brightkit!” The Thunderclan kitten mewed, her tail swishing behind her back and forth in a waving motion, “What’s your title, hm?”

Bumblekit

"I... I'm Bumblekit", he mewed nervously, cautiously looking around as he spoke. If Brightkit saw that others were staring, or if she knew about him at all, he was doomed. He needed to think of a distraction fast.


"Wait! Look! There's a mossball over there", he exclaimed, running over to it and tossing it away from the crowd. With so many kits, not having to join a group to get a mossball was somewhat of a rare occurrence. He had been saved. Not only would he not have to ask someone else, but mossball rarely involved any physical interaction, so the chances of him squishing someone on accident was basically impossible. He smiled, maybe this won't be so bad after all.

(Sorry this took so long! I didn't realize it had been three days already!)

Patchpaw padded to the two, “Let’s go! Where are we gonna hunt?” He asked. This would be his first time hunting in the Clans, maybe he would catch something good! If only his parents would be here to see it. He hoped they were happy right now.

Nectarflame watched her Clanmates disperse, engaging in plans and conversation with one another to sort out who would escort whom to the border of their territory. Hope fluttered in her chest, but the Bengal had to caution the emotion. This was a beginning. A strong beginning indeed, but still only a beginning. ThunderClan had so much work to do, so much to keep up with from this point on. Their deputy did not seem to have any intentions of speaking, and Spiderthroat was enough for her to leave Dogbark alone. With a nod at the tom she descends the Thunderwillow at last. "My apologies, Spiderthroat. It is a poor excuse, but you would understand that this day has been rather hectic thus far. If Dogbark still does not comply, perhaps you should remind him how to use his legs. I am sure most would not bat an eye." With a flick of her tail, she dismisses the just-about-rogue, hopeful that the next time they spoke it would be outside somewhere in or near the outskirts.

"Shiningskies," Nectarflame meows loudly across the camp. Trotting towards the other warrior, she nods deeply. "You have my respect for your effort today. Your life has become a challenge lately indeed, but you are strong, smart. Dedicated. Thank you." Pausing, the she-cat frowns. Then, she brushes her tail lightly over the shoulder of her Clanmate, a surprisingly solemn gesture. "If she has been watching you, she should feel quite proud, I imagine." And then, she turns away as briskly as she had approached.

The Bengal wanted to find Cindersky, hoping that the molly had not yet disappeared like so many others. There was so much to say, yet perhaps the one thing she felt urged to do first was apologize. Or thank her. Nectarflame had not yet made up her mind which seemed more fitting.

[Mainly activity post, but sorry to anyone who's reading this for the crappyness ]

Usually, the russet tom would have been walking around with a bright grin on his face. Usually. But today wasn't quite a usual day now was it? Cats were all trying to get their voices heard, all at the same, but he listened to few if none of them, heard, but didn't listen. He believed this wasn't how a clan should be run, one cat shouldn't have authority like this if they weren't leader, deputy, or medicine cat, and while he agreed that leaving the clan and coming back just like that maybe wasn't so nice, not letting them back in and exiling them for something most cats would do at least once in their lives anyways. Cats should be allowed to explore things in life, maybe not disappear just like that, but maybe be granted a little wander every once in a while. Beastflame loved his clan with all of his dumb heart, but even he had to admit that a stroll outside the set border might be refreshing, a break from this life, and take some time for himself. He wasn't going to do it, but the thought of being so tightly tied down to one place and one place alone felt.... suffocating almost...

Beastflame had never hed a political mind, not even anything close to that, much preferring the simpler pleasures of life rather than dwelling on things like wars (whom he found rather useless in itself), but even he could see how things were crumbling and falling apart around him. This was no way to live, not for a clan, not for the rouges a former queen brought up. Looking down at his large paws he had to bite down on his tongue. He didn't feel like crying often, if ever, but this disorganized mess was... stressful for him. Maybe the warrior code needed a change, something to fix these sort of things, rules could bring a sort of comfort to life, something to fall back on when one was unsure on what to do or lost, which he most certainly was right now.

Thunderclan had gone through much, and so had he. War with the other clans, bad leaders, and far too many ones to keep things right, and he could swear more was still in store for them. Maybe he needed to find something he could do himself, some way to help fix all this. Maybe he could at least do something for the kits, because he didn't want them to be forced through all this. It could have more effect on kits than grown-ups even, and Beastflame wanted them to be all safe. God, he needed to think, away from the others, just a stroll to his usual tree should do the trick like before. "Excuse me" he mumbled to no one in particular and rose up before hastily leaving the scene.

Sleep had been resistant against Paintedfeather as of late, and while it served to fuel the tom's ire he emerged from the warriors den regardless. Narrowed eyes and a dragging tail indicated to any cat that might be around, however, that he was not in the most talkative mood. Still, he was a warrior and had duties to do. From what he could hear, daily patrols might not have been assigned yet. So parting his jaws in a yawn the dilute calico sauntered over towards a sunny spot in the clearing (which were few and far between what with leaf-bare still having an iron claw attached to the clans) and sat down. He twisted his head around to begin smoothing down his ruffled pelt, head bobing up and down in a rhythmic fashion.

Rose'Kit threw the moss ball a little harder than the last time she did.

Blossomkit stared at the forthcoming mossball, then leaped high to catch the moss ball. It tried to slip through her paws as it flew quickly through the air. "That's so high!" She exclaimed as she stretched up, clawing at the moss ball. She twisted over hard, then grasped the ball. However, when she landed, she collapsed into a heap. Blossomkit buried her head over her paws, and quivered unstoppably. "Ow..." she mewed. "A-are you okay..? Rosekit?" She could feel her own fear mingled with pain coming like waves through her. "Something's not good..." She murmured, still shaking, her eyes clouded with fear. "My leg hurts." She rasped.

Nectarflame ducks into the small den, her eyes on Cinderpaw as they adjust. "Ridgeclaw, I thought you would have known better than to suggest I was out of line for speaking the truth. Is this not a collar, on this cat? Indeed, it is. We have not seen them for moons, what should be said of it?" Her tail curls as she glances over Bumblepaw while the others struggled to remove their... Accessory.

"I do not feel compelled to remind each and every one of you of the differences between insults and statements, you are all old enough to know by now. If you see the title of kittypet as an insult then the problem lies within you, not me. But enough of that- Bumblepaw," she addresses the returned apprentice. "What happened on the day you left ThunderClan territory? Were you outside alone, or with others?"

Nightsong looked for a way to escape the situation and saw Paintedfeather. "If you excuse me for a moment" he said in his song like Meow and padded over to Paintedfeather. "You look like you could use company and I need a reason to escape glares. Wanna chat for a bit?" He asked. @Howlpaw+

Taking a momentary pause in his grooming to lift his head, Paintedfeather silently observed the cat who had approached him. A Clanmate, though the calico could not recall their name to save his life. Such was the way of a cat with too many thoughts all scrambled inside their brain. He could justify it and say there were just so many cats residing in the Clan and keeping track of all of the names would be a task fit much more for a leader or deputy, not for the likes of a lowly warrior. "Glares, you say? Who is glaring at you?" Curious eyes flickered around the camp, unable to locate the source of whatever his Clanmate spoke of. Not that a lot of effort was put forth in the first place. Looking back at the tom, he gave a shrug and went back to grooming. "You're welcome to sit here, if you'd like. I won't be glaring at you. Unless you give me a reason to."
