Kithood
His parents where seldom around when he was young, and as soon as he could eat solid food, he saw them even less. What relationship he did have with them was very poor, and whenever he tried to open up they shut him down. He was usually the leader of the kit crusade, and kept everyone out of trouble.
Apprenticeship
When he was finally old enough to be training he was given the senior warrior Tallear. An obedient apprentice, he excelled at both hunting and fighting, but lacked swimming skills. Tallear became his father figure and it hit Horsepaw particularly hard when he was killed in a dog attack.
Warriorhood
He was a loyal and obedient warrior. He was awarded an apprentice for his hard work, and did well training her until he met Silverspot. They became mates, but Silverspot left, and Horsepaw tried to go meet her. He was caught and demoted to apprentice.
