Mentor needed for a capricious cat

I need a mentor for my new character, Petalpaw!

She's moody, capricious, and is basically your average emo teen, but she can see beauty beyond what others can. Petalpaw relies entirely on her intuition, following her heart wherever it may take her. This leads to her being overly sensitive, easily tricked, and often difficult to reason with.

No form, just tell me about your character.

I am new to the website, so forgive me if I get a little bit confused on things, but I just made a character named Beetlerye. Her fur is reddish with a white muzzle and ear. She can be harsh at times, and comes off as unapproachable. Because of her hard demeanor, she isn't afraid to push others to do their best. I think she might work well with Petalpaw and could potentially create a good mentor-apprentice relationship with her, as long as Petalpaw gets used to Beetlerye's harsh ways.
