Heyo! So, recently, Buckbranch’s character arc has kind of been turned on its head, what with all of the upheaval and all in ThunderClan right now. Buck has quite literally lost all energy to care anymore about the Clan he’s put 50+ moons of his soul into, which is now crumbling, and even went so far as asking Kestrelstar if he could join up with RiverClan if things went south. Which they have.

Unfortunately, that request has been denied via roleplay. Originally, that part of his arc was going to focus mainly on Buckbranch’s personal growth: building himself back up to the cat he used to be whilst being able to care about a Clan that can stand on its own two feet. Buckbranch does not have it in him to give more than a single crap about ThunderClan right now. He believes it is majorly his fault that they are in this state and has not stepped up prominently to take any sort of charge in fear of failing them once again. But I’d really like to give him the happy future I’d always intended for him. With his request to join RiverClan denied, I’m now looking for a different way to follow a similar way to do that. Buckbranch likes to run away from his problems - I want to stop him from doing that, possibly for good. And that’s where ThunderClan comes in (:<

Buckbranch has very obviously lost all energy. It’s visible in the way that he stands, looks around, and how unkempt he’s let his fur become. It’s VERY CLEAR he’s trying to avoid the current issues altogether. Kestrelstar and RiverClan denying his request to join them has been his first wake-up call. His patrol with Cindersky and Sparrowflight will surely be his second. And I’m more than willing to bet there will be other comments sent his way that will help to sort of snap him out of his current state. However, I’d really, really like three solid interactions where cats really tell him what they really think of him! Literally, just let loose and tell him how he’s failing ThunderClan now by standing aside and letting this happen, without so much as a whisper of protest; or perhaps they mention how they used to admire him but can barely give him a second glance now. Literally ANYTHING GOES. I’ll take anything. I want to get him out of this slump and I want him to start realizing he’s screwed up and that he needs to fix himself before it’s too late to even try. Now, this will definitely not be an immediate roll-back to his old self. But it will most certainly be several smacks in the face telling him that he needs to do better. Hopefully this can jumpstart a path to a better future. Fingers crossed lmao

If he wont get up off his ass and do something I’m going to drag him up and force him to even if he sights back. I’m sick and tired of watching the only home I’ve ever had fall apart and it’s time this pile of stinking fox crap gets up and does something because if he won’t I certainly will!
