Yarrowshade's eyes were slightly red as she had been crying behind the warrior's den for a while. She'd dried her face off, though, and was now approaching with her usual haughty look. Ugh, patrol. She wanted to get it done as fast as possible. She had to find some mud perso- oh wait there they were. Now her apprentice was also needed.
"Bushpaw get the hay over where before I find you myself!" she called out angrily.

He chuckled in agreement "But you could've saved the moss for the other kits" He laid compleatly flat on the ground with his ears facing her off by the side of his head.

They had been waiting, watching, fidgeting - a patrol would come to them. Lotuspaw had to be patient. So very patient, they were the most patient cat of all. They knew damned well if they would give the CHANCE to be put on one, they wouldn't even be told because no, it was so annoying. Lotuspaw was deaf and like, yeah, they didn't wanna be babied but they did need some actual help at times?? WHATEVER, which meant the moment Buckbranch stood up and opened his mouth - Lotuspaw knew this was THE TIME!! Cats began to walk over to him, grouping up and that confirmed their suspicions. They etched closer, trying to get a gauge of what he could be saying. The view was awkward but they DEFINETELY saw Lotuspaw and Riverclan!

The bobtail came speeding in, scrambling over to the entrance where they believed their patrolmates would be. "I AM GONNA LEAD THIS!!! Okay, okay?? I am so leading this, I have like, I need the experience, you know? So I can lead it!!" Lotuspaw blurted out in excitement, jumping up and down. They were such a big cat, no way they could be denied this achievement. They did a dramatic spin which immediately made them slightly dizzy but they could not be deterred. "Wait, what? Riverclan? Did you say Riverclan? Noo, can't we go hunting? Those guys SUCK!!! We don't -" they grumbled, shaking their head. "we don't need to go 'n check em, do wee??"

The large tom chuckled as the apprentice bounded over in excitement, a deep, rumbling laugh. "I believe who leads the patrol is up to Buckbranch, young one," he said, his baritone voice echoing slightly. Turning, Moosecrash looked to the other tom and nodded to him. "Sir? Up to you," he said with a respectful dip of his head.

CInderpaw's whiskers twitched irritatedly as she heard the unpleasant sound of her name being in a traitor's mouth. She was reluctant to do anything sanctioned by Dawnstar, but... c'mon, it was her dad and Sparrowflight on the patrol. And if nobody else in this damn clan was getting patrols done, it might as well be them.

She gave Buckbranch a pointed glare as she brushed past him, uttering a pointed, "Snitch." his way. How could he be so ready to sell them out to the tyrant? She glowered as she made her way over to her father and Sparrowflight, two of the small pawful of warriors she still could put any sort of faith in. "Let's get outta here. I can't stand hearing him shriek about patrols any longer."
