Oh. Percy's brother. Darcy- no, Maplepaw raised her chin. "Okay. Nice to meet you, Stoneclaw." She sat down, shifting uncomfortably with her wide belly. She was either having a few giant kits or a trillion normal sized ones. Or something.

Sitting quietly as he watched the new apprentices be named and other apprentices be called forward, Otterfluff smiled at the prospect of new warriors-in-training. It seemed as though the shift in power did little to throw RiverClan off of its recent stability and for that the young tom was grateful.

What he wasn't grateful for was his ears catching wind of another Clanmate speaking of having an outsider brother he seemed to be in touch with. Hmm. That was certainly curious and something to keep tabs on. Otterfluff wouldn't speak on it now though. Instead he remained watchful over the meeting, tail tip dancing on the ground beside his paws.

It appeared that the Clan had new faces now - outsiders who had joined. Otterfluff regarded them with thoughtfulness, wondering how they had proved themselves to be allowed to join RiverClan. Hopefully through some sort of test - with the amount of trouble the Clan had been having recently, letting just any outsiders in seemed risky, at least to Otterfluff.

"Pardon me, Skystar, but didn't you say that another cat by the name of Peace had also joined us? Are they receiving a name as well?" If his ears had not failed him, it appeared that whoever that was, was nowhere to be found. Were they still in RiverClan? And if not, had they simply arrived to learn of the camps whereabouts before leaving?? Peace seemed like an odd prefix - but then again, all outsiders had strange names.

Another thing he found odd was one of the outsiders who had joined - who was heavily pregnant - was being put as an apprentice. Wouldn't it be smarter to move her to being a queen? All of these questions swam in Otterfluff's head but he decided to leave it at just one. What had confused him the most was the fact that Skystar spoke of an outsider joining but had not indicated where that outsider resided. Were they even still in RiverClan?

Maplepaw was getting the feeling that Percy and Stoneclaw didn't get along very well. She shook her head. "He couldn't hurt me even if he wanted to, if he tried I would kick his ass. He has a mate now with kits on the way, finally left me alone."

Streampaw's blue eyes search around, looking for his mentor. They settle on Dimshard, looking at his friend with pride. He goes beside him and presses his nose to his, purring.

Dimshard nuzzles the small apprentice who he is so used to, glad he is the small cat's mentor.

Ravenclaw dips their head, letting out a breath. 'Thank you, StarClan.' They think to themself with a soft purr.

Skystar realized that he probably shouldn't have Maplepaw as an apprentice considering she was heavily pregnant. Gosh he needed to get his act together, he still wasn't quite over Kestrelstar's death and was starting to make stupid mistakes because of it. "Apologies Maplepaw [ @poppy. ],
I messed up with your name. From this day forward, you will be known as Maplefall. Please find a shield to help you find your way to the nursery." Skystar then turned to Otterfluff [ @tulle ]. "I'm sure Peace is still getting used to RiverClan, she'll receive her name at the next meeting." Skystar liked to give outsiders the benefit of the doubt considering he was given it when he was younger. "This meeting is dismissed." And with that, Skystar hopped down from the Streamstone and into his den.

Once the small black-and-white apprentice heard the clan leader say her name, she lifted her head, looking up at the Streamstone. Oh, right. She would have to have a new teacher since Kestrelstar was gone. Blizzardsky was her new mentor? Huh. Cloudpaw remembered the white-furred tomcat comforting her at the recent vigil, so she allowed herself to smile a little, knowing that the warrior would train her well -- at least she really hoped he would. He wasn’t Kestrelstar, no cat could replace him, but she was glad to have him take over her future training now. The fluffy molly knew she needed to go and sit with Blizzardsky, but she… she didn’t want to leave Spiderpaw and Moonfrost. But.. she needed to. “I’ll be right back.” Cloudpaw meowed quietly to the other apprentice and her adopted mother before standing up and hesitatingly breaking-away from them before padding over to the large familiar figure that she recognized as Blizzardsky. “H-Hi again, Blizzardsky,” She said with a smile, hoping that he would lower his head so that they could touch noses. Kestrelstar and her had done that at her last ceremony, so that’s what all mentors and apprentices did, right? Yeah. Maybe he would be able to take her to places in Riverclan territory she hadn't seen yet.

Blizzardsky blinked in shock, he was getting an apprentice, Kestrelstar's old apprentice. Him? Was Skystar insane. His mind was blown as he forced his paws forward towards Cloudpaw," Don't worry. I'll take good care of you and help you with your training." he meowed. He silently vowed to finish Cloudpaw's training if it was the last thing he did. He would finish all of Cloudpaw's training and see the day she became a warrior," I can take you out for training now if you'd like. What do you want to learn." he asked after gently touching her nose

Amberpaw made her way over to Orchidmantis. "So...... You're my new mentor. Fair warning, most of mine end up going missing before I even get one training session." There was a joking tone to her voice, but she'd quite literally lost count. She just wanted to get actual training and not get left behind this time.

At the mention of needing a Shield Shimmerbird instantly perked up. She was eager to have something to do instead of focusing on all the awful rumors and dread that was going around. Why in StarClan's name Skystar had decided to speak out the ceremony when it was forbidden she didn't know. Hopefully it would not bring their ancestor's wrath down on them.

The Shield focused on the present as she made her way over to Maplefall and dipped her head in greeting. "Um, hello. I'm Shimmerbird, a Shield. I can show you to the nursery if you're ready?" she said softly, but without a stutter. The gray and white flecked molly had gotten better at speaking smoothly since she had become a Shield, although she was still soft spoken.
