Wispypaw poked their head out of the apprentices' den, eyes already wide and bright. Another patrol! The last one had been fun, they wondered, if this one would be the same. ShadowClan border... Oh, maybe scary instead of fun, this time, if they ran into any ShadowClan cats. But Rockwing and Bravebird sounded like big warriors! Even though Wispypaw hadn't had any battle training yet, they were sure they'd be able to take on any ShadowClanners that tried to mess with them.

Wispypaw emerged fully from the warriors' den and bounded over to Bravebird, beaming at her. "Patrol time!"

Skyleaf smiled a little, signaling for the apprentice to follow her. When they arrived at the Swooping Cliffs, she sniffed the air, scenting for prey. However, everything was stale. “Huh. This is slightly odd - there's not much scent of prey in the air. Can you scent anything and my nose is just... not fresh?” she asked Tigerpaw. Maybe coming back from the dead did something with her scenting abilities...

Tigerpaw sniffed the air. "Your nose isn't playing with you. I can smell barely anything here." A shadow suddenly flashed overhead. The orange tabby apprentice leaped back with a yelp of fright, looking up. Gaint birds were playing all over the sky. But there was something wrong with the bodies... "TWOLEGS!!!!" The molly roared, her fur standing up on all ends, claws unsheathed, eyes tiny slits. "AND THEY CAN FLY!?!?!"

What. The. Heck. Skyleaf gasped, tail lashing wildly. “Wait, get out of the way! They are far away but might still be dangerous!” Her sky blue eyes were wide and fearful as she shielded Tigerpaw, afraid of the distant twolegs that seemed to be falling from the sky. “How's this possible?!” She'd never seen anything like it before - what if these twolegs would put WindClan in terrible danger? The warrior tried not to scream, holding back as she tried to protect Tigerpaw as much as possible. “I don't think they are coming down or towards us, but we must be cautious anyways.”

Tigerpaw hid behind Skyleaf, shuddering with fear. "We have to be careful. It doesn't help that there are barely any prey and no places to hide. We better get moving before THEY see us." She crept away with the warrior following her.

Skyleaf padded over at Twilightstar's call, blue eyes settled on the leader as she waited for what was to come. Hopefully only apprentice ceremonies, and no tragic announcements... That was when she noticed Featherkit in the crowd. Featherkit, her daugher. She choked down tears as she bounded over, beaming. "Feather! Oh, Feather, I've missed you so much! How are you doing? I'm back!!"

Ew, this weather was absolutely disgusting. Tawnypaw watched the rain fall as she started to make her way to the front of the ground. Wait! There was Batglare, sitting all alone in the back! That was simply not acceptable. Smiling, she walked over with her head held high. "Bat!" she meowed. "Why are you sitting in the back? Come have some fun in the front! Please?? Then you can talk with all the others and it'll be really cool! Come on, just this one time!"
