She sighed, looking at Fern’Kit with comfort.. and slight pity.. In her heavy-lidded hazel eyes.
Heather’Tail roughly licked Fern’Kits ears comfortably, shoving them forward with a gentle nudge.

“Come on, at least try. For me? ”
Heather’Tail added, looking at Feen’Kit with wide, desperate eyes in a satirical manner. ||

(I suggest making a small finder for Fern’Kit playmates )

|| Heather'Tail quickly rasped Fern'Kits head fur, watching her as Fern'Kit went up to other kits. She's growing up so fast... Heather'Tail thought with a sigh, smiling at her adopted kit. One day she may have to break the news, but that wouldn't be anytime soon.

She loved Fern'Kit like any queen would, and just because they weren't biologically kin didn't mean that Heather'Tail would treat Fern'Kit any differently; they would always be close. And if Heather'Tail had kits of her own, or adopted more, she'd have to admit... Fern'Kit would be the favourite. ||

"Then let's get to it." she replied in a monotonous voice. The massive she-cat turned and scented the air. She managed to catch a whiff of rabbit and, after some investigation, found it's source. Her size was hard to work with sometimes, specifically with hunting, but she managed to stalk it for a bit before leaping at it. It dashed and began running but she quickly caught up to it and grabbed it in her jaws.
