"Rosekit looked like Hickorynose, but her fur was darker. She got greencough."

The kitten was vaguely aware of his pursuer as he plonked down, hind legs sticking straight out on either side of his body. Laurelkit was probably the one chasing him, and she wasn't being all that quiet about it. Hmmm, maybe he should teach her how to be sneaky after the meeting? Since he was obviously a master at it, just like anything else. By the time he was an apprentice he would already be super duper far ahead of everyone else!

"APGH-" The impact that came moments later was something he totally saw coming, he of course just let her hit him because he was super cool and nice like that. She bowled him over, sending them tumbling through the dust with a burst of giggles erupting from the tom. A small paw lifted as he went to bap her on the nose, wiggling around under her in an attempt to squirm out and flop over on top of her instead.

With Eldersky finally freed from the medicine cats den, Hickorykit was happier than ever. It had been a while, but now she was back and he could tell her all about his adventures with Laurelkit and Twistedkit! Hopefully she would be happy to hear about his new friend. He had grown a lot in the time she had been sick, and not just in the belly area (ha! Take that laurelkit!). Now he was as tall as a mountain, and he had super big muscles that no warrior could beat! Maybe he still had his kitten fluff, but he liked having a fluffy pelt thank you very much.

With a bundle of weeds, grasses, and wildflowers clutched in his jaws, Hickorykit trotted into the den with his head held high. He had spent a all day collecting plants from the clearing for Eldersky, and at last he was ready to present the gift to her! Looking over to the nest he shared with Eldersky and Laurelkit, he let out a muffled squeal of delight when he saw Fernpaw was there!

The pudgy kitten wasted no time in barreling over to the rest of his family, nearly tripping over his own paws a couple times. In record time Hickorykit reached the cuddle pile, dropping his bundle of plants at the ground near Elderskys head. Without a moments hesitation he began to try and weasel his way under the pile of limbs and fur to snuggle up to his mom. It was a tight squeeze, but there was nothing he couldn't do! "hi Momma!" he chirped, booping his nose against whatever part of her he could reach.

The orange tom jumped a bit at the medicine cat's annoucement. He slowly rised to his feet. Him and Vixenlight, then two apprentices. All right. He padded over to Cowpaw, looking closly at the marigold before padding to his patrol members. He dipped his head to the apprentices. "Vixenlight! Hurry up or we'll be going without you!" He growled. "Leechpaw, Rabbitpaw." He mewed, facing the apprentices. "However many marigold we find, we'll carry it evenly" He mewed, wanting to be fair
