The tom's ears flicked as he
heard his own name being
called, and he felt a sudden
chill sweeping through him.
Littlefang took a deep breath,
and his eyes glimmered with
confidence. He was going to
do whatever he could to help
his clan, and no one was going
to stop him. He usually wasn't
a very confident cat, but today
was a very special day.

successfully swatting all the wasps away, sleethound tore down the rest of the old brambles. when softripple arrived, he gave the molly a nod of appreciation before taking some of the brambles and attaching them to the ones that were still useful. making sure it was sturdy, he went to the resource pile and grabbed a few firm sticks, jabbing them in between the brambles. with that spot fixed, he repeated the process in the areas next to him - tear away old brambles, replace with new ones, add sticks for extra support.

This was more like it. The molly gave a small smile, eyes glinting in anticipation. Thunderclan would be great again.

it seemed like everything was going good - cornpaw was pretty sure they'd be done in no time at this rate. continuing to stuff more brambles into the small part of the wall he built, he glanced over to see the entrance mistpaw had made, nodding quickly. suddenly, it hit him. the most amazing idea. poison ivy. he bit his tongue lightly, holding in a small snicker. he would definitely come back later and put some in here..for now, he would just continue to build the den and seem very innocent.

Looking around at her fellow clanmates to try to gather what the general reaction to the call was- the she-cat couldn’t help but notice a few cats who she had last seen as little fluff balls. Yes, she was aware of the fact that her body hadn’t aged one bit following the strange occurrence of .. .The Return. Yet it was still quite a realization to be held for the first time fully; that kits or new apprentices that she had watched their overdue ceremonies taking place were older than the former medicine cat now.

Again again though- overthinking too much right now wouldn’t help with the suspension of what was yet to be announced. While it probably wasn’t something bad.. Yeah. no need for the mind to wander., . In any case, now it seemed that most of the clan had indeed gathered- no one seemed to be immediately outspoken and only one kit decided to ignore Cindersky’s statement. As the silver splotched molly raised her voice from an odd position on the ground (she probably had her reasons of course!) Icicleripple fixed her attention onto her clanmate. Considering that she had only heard about the negative in her recent time back in camp, Cindersky starting off with a recognition of what was accomplished felt beyond amazing. Icicleripple had noticed the camp repairs, and had indeed carried a mouthful of moss when first walking through the territory again. It was about time anyways for fixing up the area, though ShadowClan's stay probably did add to the damage.

And then the next part came. Wait- what happened four seasons ago besides.. Oh .. okay, yeah yeah. ‘raided our home and slaughtered us where we stand now’ .. yes, that they- was what they did... To initiate another fight though? It was a- take on the situation certainly.. one that probably a lot of her clanmates shared. Yet, yet at the same time, Icicleripple couldn’t help but feel a little bit weary of what patrols were exactly being sent out to do. Prove the fact that they were in the complete wrong? Because-... yes, yes they were in the wrong!! This was already a topic the she-cat had internally debated- was it not? While ThunderClan could have controlled rouge clanmates a bit better, (and faster) it was RiverClan who decided to steal their graveyard out of all things! RiverClan warriors were the ones to raid camp with poison tipped claws along with their leader. The fish-eating, water loving cats who then proceed to lie about the whole thing..

While Icicleripple was never one for fighting, the reasoning for the attack was justified as she saw it. It would probably mean immediate gathering of herbs just in case- as from her understanding the patrols were literally leaving at this moment. Making her way over to where she had located Sundust and Rosepaw, they would hopefully be open to some help just in case. After all, for all the green eyed cat knew, it could be overflowing with herbs (hopes hopes hopes..) yeahhh.

While Birchheart was very disappointed that he was not chosen and it was sickening to him that they didn’t trust him enough to put him with anyone, he was glad to finally paying back Riverclan for what they had done. “Finally, Riverclan with get what they deserve and we show them that they cannot just walk all over us! They had zero right to do those things and Thunderclan is strong and able to get them back!”

Still, in the back of his mind, he sincerely wished to be with them, helping. Anything at all he could do to help, he would. “Anything, at all, I can do to help, I am at your service.” Nevertheless, the cats chosen would get the job done and do it well.
