Poisonfrost dodges under him and shakes her pelt. He looks at him and narrows his eyes and he purrs.

She huffed at the retort, but a small smile tugged at her lips as Wrenpaw responded to her offer. "I'll do it," She nodded quickly, taking a long stride around the hare. "Just send it towards me and I'll take it from there." The hare was pretty big, even to Basilcliff, and she didn't want Wrenpaw to get a small kick to the face. She had seen the surprising damage it caused, only twice admittedly, but it still popped into her mind whenever she was hunting hares.

"You'll do great, try not to get whacked." She added with another sheepish grin. Her head tilted momentarily and she slid into a crouch, circling the pale hare until she was on the other side of the grass clearing. With that, she flattened herself 'till she looked like a puddle of fur. Her gaze carefully watching the movement of both the hare and Wrenpaw. Her haunches were tense, the taut muscle underneath her pelt rippling as she wait.

"Okay, I won't let the hare strike me, thank you for the warning," she meowed, giving Basilcliff an awkward smile. Her white claws slide slowly out of their sheaths. Crouching in the tall grass she watched the rabbit blissfully unawre of the danger lurching so close to it. Her eyes squinted, and she took a deep breath. Closing her eyes, she counted to ten. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!


The hare, spooked, began to run to the left, but Wrenpaw steered the animal to Basilcliff. Using her claws as traction, she slid about, making sure the creature was lead straight into the warriors claws. "Basilcliff, coming to you!" she yelled.

Twilightstar didn't seem particularly disgruntled, aside from any pain the leader was experiencing from her wounds of course. Sootflare could only assume that the battle had gone well. He waited patiently for an announcement on the subject, to hear the finally results.

As he was waiting, a body shuffling through the crowd caught his attention and he dipped his head gently in greeting towards Shattervenom. His ears flicked in her direction to listen. Exploring the territory? He wouldn't be opposed to that, there were still many places in WindClan he was unfamiliar with and he wouldn't turn down an opportunity to learn.

"Whenever you want to go, you come find me." he purred in return, waving his tail when she moved on.

Whisperingflame sunned herself in the warm rays of the sun, her slightly bulging belly looking more pronounced. She quickly moved onto her belly and swiftly wrapped her plumy tail around it. She nervously looked around and hoped no one had saw. She looked at it, it was plumping up by the day. She wondered how many moons left Maybe 2? She thought. She chased the thought away and curled up in the warm sun...

Turning her green eyes to the voice that approached her, Pinestrike gave a respectful dip of her head to Shattervenom.
"Of course, please join me," she mewed, gesturing with her tail for the tall warrior to sit beside her.
Taking a moment to consider the frost-flecked molly's words, she gave an agreeing nod.
"I doubt Shadowclan will bother us as well, but you never know. The sneak-thiefs are a bit unpredictable," she mused, bringing her gaze up once more to watch Twilightstar. She listened as the leader called forward a gaggle of kits to become apprentices.
Ah yes, one of the most important parts of a young cat's life.
Her green eyes glimmered for a moment. Would she be assigned an apprentice? Perhaps. It was up to Twilightstar. She guessed she wouldn't however, considering her young age and that she herself had only recently become a warrior.
