His back hide prickled slightly with a sense of uncomfortableness as the Riverclanner spoke of how proud she was of her parents. Proud over a crime their parents had committed, a rule broken, and disloyalty against their clans. How could anyone feel pride over something like that?

Well, his conversation partner turned to leave so Owlglide simply nodded her goodbye. "Safe travel home." He mewed, an act of politeness and customary practice, not one out of kindness. After that, he finished up the little of the border he had left and turned back towards camp.

"Alright, tell me what you know about Riverclan," he said in his rumbly, gruff voice before turning to pad slowly along the scent line.

"If we keep up this pace, we can finish the borders by sundown," he mewed.
