The feeling of having other cats looking at you was not a sensation that Hannibal was unfamiliar with, in fact, he had gone rather accustomed to the feeling, there always seemed to be a cat casting a glance his way, looking at him thinking that he couldn't tell but they were always mistaken. Who is it this time? Thought the tom inwardly, not much interest given to the idea of who it was. As nonchalant as ever, he began to focus more, searching for the cat that had their head swiveled in his direction. He's had several cats that simply stood there as if paralyzed, staring at him until realizing what they were doing and promptly scurrying away as if he'd give chase to them and end them right then and there in the middle of the clearing. Which was most certainly not something Hannibal would do, he was not a reckless tom, not at all and he wasn't an idiot either. He would let those rumors stay rumors because they were harmless, the minute they started to get evidence and actually accusing him.. That's when he would have to start trimming the herd, then it would simply go back down to just rumors because no who actually knew would be alive to keep the accusations growing in momentum. But rumors were completely harmless, just gossip and truly, Hannibal could care less, he had more interesting things to focus his attention on.
It didn't take him very long to find the cat that was staring at him, it was a quick flash of movement, the cat must have realized they were staring and now? Hannibal was staring at him. Analyzing him just like he did with every single cat in this Syndicate. He saw the way he had eaten, certainly not clean and sophisticated, but that was like most other cats in the Syndicate, but then, something interesting happened. A seemingly random switch in emotion from the previously, what appeared to be, calm tom grew a look of utter fear. Oh?
And now the cat was leaving. Well that's rather intriguing. As Jamie got up and headed out of the clearing, the dark grey tom slowly rose to his paws, stretching slowly, flexing his claws before silently, and rather slowly, following the cat out, moving along the grass as silently as a ghost and making sure he gave the other cat a nice head start so that he couldn't be scented by the other. He wanted to know what this cat was up to.
|
Jamie padded further away from the clearing, the bare tree branches casting dark shadows upon the fur of the tom. His fur was ruffled by the light winter breeze as snow flurries blew about, untangling the feather from his chest fur, the wind blowing silently as it carried it away, twirling, into the sky. Jamie watched as it blew away, and he closed his eyes, listening in silence to the sounds of the forest.
Malcolm can't come out yet, he thought. He'll probably kill the new commander and co-commander, Jamie worried needlessly. He knew Malcolm only killed bullies, and unless Haltie and Boreas had ever bullied someone, they'd be safe. But who other than a psychopath can understand what drives a psychopath to the brink of killing another?
Jamie sighed and opened his pale eyes, unaware of the biting cold that made him shiver. It was dark out now, which was unsurprising. The snow flurries were beginning to build up on the grassy floors of the forest, without the leaves of the trees to protect them from the snow. Cold crystal flakes of white fell upon his head and pelt, and he shook his head to rid himself of the cold snowflakes.
It was then when he heard the soft crunching of paw steps behind him when his head swiveled in the direction of the sound. Jamie squinted his pale eyes, unable to see anyone, but he got the sinking feeling that he wasn't alone.
"H-hello?" He stuttered fearfully. Jamie was only six moons mentally, and he didn't have the courage or bravery of a grown cat, and couldn't keep the fear from creeping out into his voice.

Sheerkit heard him, but said nothing as she pushed into camp, her weaker leg a bit more obvious now, though she tried her best to hide it. Nobody really knew that she had an almost unnoticeable limp, and she preferred it taht way. Made her less of a target, and that was good. She stopped, turning to face the tom, about to give him a good lecturing about something.
“As long as you're a merciless and ruthless killer, you'll fit in just fine.” she growled, lashing her tail, hoping to make her point clear. She didn't really like him all that much, and maybe she wouldn't be stuck vouching for him if she hadn't been alone, but nevertheless, what was done was done. She couldn't change that.
She hissed slightly, then stopped, turning and hoping she could just leave him here. Somebody would find him. She would've hoped Hannibal would find him, but Hannibal was busy. Probably out creating mass-murder. That was the most fun, though not for some old emotionless cat, who knew nothing of fun, but it didn't matter.
Sheerkit didn't trust the cat enough to turn her back on him, so she was unfortunately pretty much stuck with him until somebody else came over and took the trespasser off of her paws. Besides, this was more of a job for a fighter, not a hunter trainee like herself. She had to be patient, but patients wasn't really something she had a lot of today, and it was quite hard to sit still.
She shifted her weight uncomfortably, her impatience very obvious as she stood a tail length away from him, her claws working furiously at the ground in anger. She hadn't wanted to spend her evening like this, not that she'd exactly had any plans.

"Ha! Yes! That is so true! I agree with you totally..." Fleck waved his tail excitedly..."I'm fleck and you are...going to get on well with me..."

Fleck followed her and liked her shoulder respectfully. "Come on now, don't be like that! You're playing hard to get...I like it..." He purred, he had a somewhat evilly charming personality.

"Ha! Not unless my gang get you first! Now leave this she-cat alone...she clearly has better people to waste her time on than you so I suggest you get going!" He growled to Frost. He turned around and winked at Ares.

"No, you're not!" He wanted Ares...bad...she'd make a fierce mate...and perhaps she could help him with his antics...they can share power...they could overthrow the commanders...

Sheerkit snarled, lashing her tail. She wasn't going to answer that, as she didn't want her loyalties questioned. It was bad enough that there was some reason nfor others to question her loyalties. That shouldn't have to be a thing for her, but yet, it was. The smoke furred trainee was very close to attacking him, though she knew where her chances of winning lay. At the bottom. She would have to wait until she was older.
Killing wasn't who she'd been, and it troubled her that who she'd used to be was gone. What if she ever saw Sapphirekit or Moonfang again? Where would that take her? She shuddered slightly, uncontrollably. It was very cold out, and her small body got colder easier than larger cats. She would've settled for a clawing of the ears, but stopped herself just as she was raising a paw, claws unsheathed.
She hastily set down her paw, hoping that it wasn't noticed. She didn't want him to kill her. She just wanted to inflict something upon him. To put her mind at rest. It would've been fun, too, but alas, she couldn't do it. She had no choice but to keep her claws to herself, no matter how much she wanted to attack him. He'd bothered her from the very start, and he was bothering her more than ever, now. Why did he have to ask the one question that she couldn't answer?
“I can't tell you that. It's top secret.” she lied, puffing out her chest, pretending to be all proud, when of course, she wasn't. Yes, she was a ruthless killer by heart, but she still hated lying by nature.
The molly shifted, and she hoped he realized her shifty, backstabbing personality. Because if he didn't, he had uncertain days ahead. If he died by the claws of the Syndicate, Sheerkit would be quite happy about that, and wouldn't care in the slightest that he would be dead.
She'd actually quite ebjoy it to be honest. Throw in a few other traitors as well, and you've got yourself some mass-murder, and the most fun all moon. She knew that was unlikely to happen though, and she sighed, scuffling her paws in the dirt. She'd seen things a cat her age shouldn't have seen, and some of it secetly haunted her mind a little, though she did stood job of covering it up.
Realizing that she had lost focus, and was just sort of staring off into nothing, Sheerkit shook her head to clear her thoughts. Sher needed to sleep, just until dusk, but wasn't sure ifshe would be able. She would've loved to go attack some prey, but was far too tired to do so, and just needed to take a rest. That way she would have the energy to attack some prey once the sun was down, though she'd have to look out for owls, since it was time for them to come out and hunt.

So we're just staying here until someone finds us? He asked, staring at the clearing,he flicked his tail, and his gaze darkened as he thought of the she-cat that brought him here, his own mother, kicking him out of the group,he let out a low growl thinking about it,oh he deserved it,killing his brother for his own enjoyment, but his mother, aren't blood ties important?
He shook his head, trying to ignore the fact that he was a vile murderer, but he couldn't,he couldn't because he was weak.A weak cat that cares about everything.No.That cat was gone.Old Razor is gone.New Razor is a vicious, cold blooded murderer. He nodded in approval at the thought, finally,he settled and sat up proudly
