It was easy to notice the wave of uneasiness that spread through the Clan; Cinderstar herself felt it. She also knew what must be going through most of the Clans mind - that the last place Cinderpaw had been seen was Firefly Cove. If it was true - if RiverClan had... taken her... then Cinderstar would see to it that she was returned.

Hopefully cats would also keep their eyes open for those also who were missing, all of which concerned her. Despite newleaf in full swing and greenleaf not too far away, apprentices and kits out by themselves could spell nothing but trouble.

"My apologies - Goosekit, you may come forward as well." Call it first meeting jitters, but she was not about to let even one ceremony slip underneath the radar. Fleakit and Dapplekit were both overdue, but Goosekit was also at the six moon age as well and deserved it just as much as the other two did. The bump in the meeting wasn't large and Cinderstar brushed over it rather gracefully.

"You have all reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to begin your training. From this day forward, until you have received your warrior names, you shall be known as Fleapaw, Dapplepaw, and Goosepaw." A soft smile graced her face as she looked down upon the three new apprentices. This would certainly add to the rebuilding of the Clan, having fresh cats to share in restoring ThunderClan.

Allowing her gaze to travel out to the ground to pick out their mentors, she had a few cats in mind. "Fleapaw [ @Atticus ], your mentor will be Bumblebreak [ @Slushie ]. Though he is young, I am certain he will pass on all he knows to you." Her eyes met Bumblebreak's in a nod of confirmation. "Bumblebreak, you have worked hard to earn your place in ThunderClan, and have shown how driven and dedicated you are. I trust that you will pass this onto Fleapaw." She hoped that the newly named warrior would confide in her if it became too much - but part of her knew that out of all the warriors in ThunderClan, Bumblebreak would be best suited for the job in making sure that young Fleapaw learned how to be an excellent warrior.

"Goosepaw [ @Bliss. ], your mentor will be Stagbound [ @Willie Warf ]. He has proven himself a valuable warrior of ThunderClan, and will be a steady paw to guide you in your training." Once again, Cinderstar let her gaze flicker through the crowd to locate the tom. "Stagbound, you have been through much in your life. I know that you will pass on your resilience and loyalty to Goosepaw." Another nod to both of the cats to confirm their assignment.

"Dapplepaw [ @Bean_The_Cat ], your mentor will be Blackjaw [ @Oobleck ]. He is a warrior who is known for his optimism and boldness, and he will ensure that you flourish into a great warrior." Shifting her gaze towards Blackjaw, she gave the tom a nod. "Blackjaw, you fought well in the battle and are a warrior the Clan can depend on. I trust you to pass on all you know to Dapplepaw."

With the new apprentices given their names and mentors, Cinderstar allowed a moment or two so that they could get acquainted and greet each other. Hopefully they were all happy with receiving an apprentice as she watched them with a light smile on her face.

Once enough time had passed, Cindersky lifted her chin slightly as if to call the attention back towards the Thunderwillow. "In the wake of a few warriors going missing from the Clan, there are reassignments that need to be done. I want to stress something before I begin; I will no longer tolerate mentors neglecting their apprentices, and will be keeping a close eye on all training. If I see that you are not doing your duty in training, you will no longer have the task of mentoring. Apprentices, if your mentors are ignoring your training, I ask that you alert me or Sparrowflight so that we can handle it." There had been one cat she had been eyeing to replace, but they had recently been put on a patrol together so for now, Cinderstar would just keep an eye on them.

"Patchpaw [ @Tuftdrawsanddoodles ], your new mentor will be Birchheart [ @corgigirl ]." Cinderstar knew that with his daughter becoming an apprentice, he would be worried over that if he didn't have something else to occupy his time - and perhaps by taking over the training of another apprentice, he would be able to still participate someway in Dapplepaw's training while also assisting with the training of other cats.

Pebblepaw [ @Nixey ], your new mentor will be Moosecrash [ @RiztheHuntress ]." She had come to trust the large tom ever since he had been apart of her patrol to retake the cove, and she liked how he had taken initiative in organizing herb patrols for Sundust and Rosepaw. Cinderstar knew he was a good choice to take over the rest of Pebblepaw's training.

"Duskpaw [ @/Bean_The_Cat ], I trust that Sunshadow [ @~Fierce~ ] will be able to continue your training." She had seen the she-cat around camp and she seemed pretty adept to her duties; hopefully having an apprentice would only add positively to that.

"Thunderpaw [ @Courage ] you have recently returned to us from being gone from the Clan. Harefire [ @Rabbiteye ], I know that you will be a perfectly fine mentor in getting Thunderpaw to complete the rest of her training." The young tom seemed eager enough, and Cinderstar was willing to trust him with the task of mentoring an apprentice who was already somewhat through her training.

"Cardinalpaw [ @Kateri ], you will continue your training with Pinecrash [ @Sprig ]." Another eager warrior, one who had at least held his own in the battle for the cove. She was intrigued to see how he would handle mentorship.

"Softpaw [ @WinterMara ]." It hit her how this reassignment was not because of a missing warrior, but a deceased one. A momentary flash of empathy crossed her gaze as she sought out her adoptive daughter in the crowd. "Wildspark's death has left you without a mentor. He was a wonderful warrior and has completed most of your training. To finish your training, I appoint Dimhazel [ @Rainquail ]. I know they will be able to pass much onto you." They were a sensible enough warrior, and someone they could (hopefully) trust with Softpaw.

Now that reassignments were out of the way, Cinderstar allowed a few moments to come to pass to give them all time to reacquaint themselves and greet each other before moving on. As far as she was aware, there were no new warrior ceremonies to give (with Lotuspaw missing and Bushpaw... not present). There were still a few wrap-up things they wished to address once every cat found their assigned mentor and apprentice.

Cinderpaw was missing? They suppose they hadn't paid attention, which wasn't great on them, but it wasn't too far in the past, so maybe the Clan could still find her, especially if a body hadn't been found. They almost asked if a party should scour the Cove to look for where she might have gone, Cinderstar was mentioning she'd already looked herself.
A small wave of anxiety hit them as the implication of her disappearance settled in. They didn't know her, but being captured by another Clan- there was no telling what could happen.

Dimhazel spent nearly the rest of the reassignment announcements in their head trying to push away those nerves, zoning in on the last announcement, that Cardinalpaw was going to Pinecrash, when it was announced they'd be mentoring Softpaw.
They looked back up at the leader and then back to the crowd of cats to search for the apprentice, slowly rising to their paws to approach her. They kept their steps soft as they moved through the crowd, trying very hard not to brush against anyone with their larger frame.
As they approached Softpaw, they slowed further and paused a tail length away from her so she could decide to step closer.
They paused, trying to gauge if it would be best to leave the topic be and decided they should say something regarding her loss.
"My condolences about your mentor."
The words were sincere, the loss of any life was a tragedy, but felt hollow on their tongue. There was more they should say, tell her he'd be missed or something, but they didn't know him, and they worried it'd come across as insincere.
"I will do my best to help you on your final stretch to warriorhood."
They could only hope they didn't disappoint.

Harefire gaped. Cinderstar had given him an apprentice? Excitement pricked his pelt. He was a mentor now! He gazed around for his new apprentice. Thunderpaw. There she was.

Goosepaw - Female[she/her] - Post 1

The kit was just sitting at the entrance to the nursery, not really paying attention to what was going on during the meeting. That was until a voice rang out calling her name. Goosekit moved out of the den, her ears later against her head. She was in trouble wasn't she. Her eyes closed and she tried her best to calm her nerves. I don't want to be in trouble, rang through her head until she was given her new name Goosepaw. She was becoming an apprentice.

Eyes were going to be on her and it scared her. Goosepaw quietly moved back and tried her hide herself behind a cat. Nobody would see her? Right! Goosepaw listened and heard a familiar name get rang out. Stagbound. She liked him. The new gray tuxedo apprentice looked around for him before spotting him. She moved over to him and touched her nose to his just the she had seen apprentices do before her. "I promise I won't let you down.", she meowed quietly. She wasn't much of a talker, so this was all she was going to say right now.

Dustclaw’s heart dropped, and hurt seemed to have been thrown at him. He would have to give away his secret in order to return to ThunderClan. “Ok.” He whispered, and stepped back. He then turned around, and padded away, twoards the border, tail and ears drooping.

Cardinalpaw dips his head and searches around for his new mentor.

Golden'paw would come stumbling in, a wild expression on her face.
"Sorry I got lost training with Meadow'splash! I better get back to it!" she managed to say before pelting off again in the direction of her mentor. "Oh, yeah, sorry Cinder'star I got lost. Can I rejoin the clan?" she asked after rushing back. Her heart aced to be be back home and training again. A hopeful smile slid across her face. he would rush back. Opps. Golden;paw thought.
"Cinder'sky... Or should I call you Cinder'star! She said proudly. She gazed around hoping to see Cinder'sky.

Ivythorn smiled slightly as Cindersky approached. Ah, what a pleasing welcome! Flicking her tail, she cast a glance at Wildspark and Cloverpaw. It seemed that she had finally managed to catch up. "Cinds," she mewed delicately. "Well- I wasn't really expecting to see you here." Her voice was a little mocking, but she choked the urge to say more down. If she wanted to get into ThunderClan, she probably shouldn't ask about that former mate of Cindersky's yet. Maybe her sister had actually recovered by now."I think Cloverpaw did the explaining quite well. I believe we should keep an eye out for twolegs in the future." An eyebrow quirked up as she regarded her sibling. "Where's Dawnstar? I don't scent any ShadowClan."

Brown ears perked up attentively as Cinderstar spoke. Missing apprentices were never a good sign... The shadow of a frown creased her muzzle and she adjusted her position to take some weight off her front paws. Paws crossed they had merely wandered off and would return soon enough without injury.

Her mood lightened considerably as the three kits that had scrambled forward were officially named as apprentices in Thunderclan's ranks. Joining with the crowd, her voice called out their new names with enthusiasm and a soft smile to each of them.

Green gaze swept the crowd, taking note of each cat's reaction and the mentors that began stepping forward to meet their new apprentices. Thunderclan was moving forward, and she couldn't be more pleased at how far they had come.

Mistheart eagerly joined in with cheering for each of the new apprentices as they were named. Grey eyes still searched the crowd for her brother, but concerningly he was nowhere to be seen. Resolving to seek him out later , she continued to sit quietly and listen to the rest of this meeting (because her roleplayer is quite swamped with work atm).
